I absolutely love this song and her voice!

It sucks that Mary Chapin Carpenter doesn't have over a million views. She deserves more recognition! She's one of my inspirations in songwriting.

Unfortunately, Envious, most people do not want to think. Mary writes songs that require one to think, listen and then relate what she's saying to what most adults have experienced. Shame we live in a world that's being purposely dumbed down.

And - secretly - I am grateful that, because of quarantine, I found the time to retrieve ever so many of these amazing songs!! I have been an ardent fan for many years, yet I was totally 'underexposed' to the sheer wealth of the volume and depth of the poetry in Ms Chapin's songs. May she continue to bless all her loyal listeners, for a loooong time to come, and may she stay well, and ultra-MIGHTY! 🤩

Chapin is the best singer-songwriter on the face of this earth, as far as I'm concerned. I love her from here to eternity. She is at the peak of her musicianship right now. I saw her this past June, 2016, in NJ, and it was the best concert I have EVER seen her perform. She is in a great, wonderfully happy place, and her music exhibits this. And she deservers every bit of the love she receives from her fans. I love love love LOVE her! Love you, dearest Chapin!
