Trickle down capitalist philosophy and elitism doesn't work and never has but we are just starting to see it in unusual places like USA and Iran at the same time. Simon is suggesting a practical solution that works well for likes of John Lewis retailer and major football clubs like Barcelona. They may operate the same model as Simon's but more sharing for greater reurns and less taking for the sake of taking can work it seems.

Holacracy and this model both seem to rely on members/employees understanding both the principles of the organizational structure and the company. That is asking a lot of the current batch of humans running about, sadly.

The only solution I see is to opt out of the consumer economy and break the machine. If just 10% if the population all stopped paying for anything for almost three months then the system would break under bank defaults. Then perhaps they will listen.
