Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter [Arcade] - Shadow & Mephisto

This is a play-through using Shadow and Mephisto in the Arcade version of Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter. Read on below for more information...
Shadow and Mephisto are both hidden characters in the game. Both are hidden playable characters.
===== About Shadow =====
He is basically Charlie/Nash from X-Men vs. SF in a different and dark colour palette. His portrait on the character select screen is a silhouette of M.Bison, and his versus screen and super combo portraits uses silhouetted versions of his XMvSF images. He has no name on his lifebar, and his lifebar icon uses a black version of the generic 'inactive partner' icon. (Capcom are so good at cutting corners aren't they?)
It should be noted that he is a completely unique hidden character in the game, unlike the other five. He's been toned down from his XMvSF counterpart, as his super combos have a slight delay before he executes the moves... which makes a BIG difference to his gameplay. =(
===== About Mephisto =====
A palette swap of Blackheart. The only difference I noticed about him is that most of his basic moves set the opponent on fire when hit by him. Other than that, I'm not really sure what other differences there are between him and Blackheart. He has no name on his lifebar.
===== About MSHvSF =====
MSHvSF was created with too much "hype" and "company fanboyism". The roster is questionable, because aside from Cyber-Akuma and Norimaro (the latter being only available in the Japanese version), the rest of the roster are recycled from other games. The Capcom roster I think has too many shotos. The soundtrack however is new and is well-composed.
Nevertheless, it's a fun game all the same. Wolverine is a problem in this game though... it's ridiculous on just how utterly overpowered he is, lol.

Mephisto, despite literally being Satan in the Marvel universe and one of Ghost Rider's archenemies, will always be more remembered as the guy who destroyed Peter Parker's marriage :V

Tbh, the real culprit for fucking up Peter's marriage and life in general was Tony Stark.
If Mephisto gets in the next MVC, he needs his unique design not a palette swap of Blackheart.

Or an alternate costume for Blackheart. Personally, he's not playable character material (boss definitely cuz he's the DEVIL). Also bring back that cut super that Blackheart had.

Yes because it means paying more money to the announcer even for one word. Besides, the you would've been applied to the character select because the audio for the character name when someone is selected most likely shares a spot for when you win as them. In other words, if they did "You Win", then whenever you selected a hidden character that's Shadow, Mephisto and US Agent, the announcer would say "YOU!" as opposed to nothing and that's unnecessary and hilariously silly

Guile type characters employ “charge” inputs, requiring you to hold the joystick/a button in the d-pad for a few seconds before inputting the opposite direction. i.e.: Guile’s Sonic Boom: hold back for second or two, then input forward and punch.

That is correct. The same goes for Flash Kick type moves, these require you to hold Down to charge, then press U + Kick to do it. Once you have those two fundamentals down, you're ready. Then you move onto the super move charge commands. The common one is hold Back to charge, then Forward, Back, Forward + Punch/Kick. Remember, you can also charge using diagonal Down-Back as well... this is the best charge direction because it charges for BOTH Sonic Boom and Flash Kick.
So Metamispho a Blackheart cline or vice versa?

How to use them in mobile?
I'd wager a guess that Mephisto's magic system is similar to Blackheart's from Marvel Super Heroes. It's what they did with orange hulk in MvC1. Not interested enough to look into it though. Other crappier games deserve my time ;p
I wonder, why Capcom never brought back Mephisto for Marvel vs. Capcom? If he was in Clash Of Super Heroes, then I would've played the hell out of using him with Shadow Lady. Or better yet, Shadow Lady should've been introduced in this game, along with giving Chun-Li the Shichisei Senkuu Kyaku hyper combo itself. I wish Capcom had fared off with more secret characters than expected.

@Riku Kosaka I agree with you 110%. There is no doubt in my mind that they should have had them both in MVC2 as well. And also bringing back Shadow and Shadow Lady-with their Final Mission hyper combo. The creator did not know what he was missing when he omitted those two and the raging demon super move of the two.
