Stupid statement

I like the "remember when we were good" montage at the beginning. Really emphasises how far Marvel have fallen in such a short amount of time.

The best part of the movie was when all the marvels came into one shot and yelled “it’s marvel time” and marveled all over the villains.

No no no. That’s a sign this is gonna be goooood. My expectations of this being good are underground so I’m hoping they go so far the the other direction that it goes from bad to hilarious 🤣 if it can’t be good then I hope it becomes the next so bad it’s good series.

So much pathetically blatant Avengers coattail riding, from Cap and Tony at the beginning, to the Thanos voiceover, to using the Avengers theme at the end. Great way to let the potential audience know that you don't even have faith in the product yourselves.

Desperation is not enough of a word to describe this trailer.

@@andrewphillips4681 if you had paid attention you might have noticed they were with the exception of "Steel" all Marvel films long before Disney ever thought to get in the superhero game, and insisted on deliberately pushing the matter. But when you prioritize DEI check boxes above things like story what do we expect? Disney has owned Marvel for how long now? Halley Berry herself said in an interview she would do a stand alone "Storm" flick, but here's the thing. She got roles on talent not melanin count. I could go down a laundry list of actors and actresses who were not white and led countless films before Disney showed up. Hell "Ripley" from the Alien films was neither written as a man or woman, RIdley Scott just like Weaver. Being a woman is neither a reason to like or dislike "Captain Marvel" but if we are going to go there perhaps you would like to know that was originally a guy, and Monica Rambo carried that title before Danverse. Thig is we have established the typical Disney shill knows nothing of comics before 2020. "Captain Marvel" has never been a successful character, As for the film, I am reasonably certain being sandwiched between the "Avengers" films greatly helped that along. One thing is for sure Rhee Larson won no one over with her interviews. A totally sharp contrast to Gal Gadot who by contrast very much came across as warm and charming, and while "WW 1984" absolutely sucked and was morally questionable at best, the original definitely made me welcome Gadot to the DC holy trinity. My point is despite DIsney's continuous screaming about DEI they have actually done far less than Marvel films of yester year despite a deliberate agenda. They literally have a catalog of characters popular on their own merits and instead of running with them they choose race and gender swaps, or propping up a character that despite six reboots has been at her height a middling performer. Furthermore back in the 30's when race matters were even worse than in the jim crow south and double as bad in LA black people won awards over white actors, and it was not due to DEI initiatives. Frankly Disney has a solution in desperate need of a problem, trouble is that solution just cheapens it for actors and actresses who got roles and won awards on their own merits rather than a diversity quota.

I loved this trailer. Especially the end. Like when it was finished. I was glad it was done.

It's Monica Rambeau's mother, who is Captain Marvel from another universe. There's one "cameo" and it's Beast. But, I wouldn't count on them ever appearing again beyond this one off 2-3 second cameo in the post credits scene.

I immediately got goosebumps after the trailer ended and I watched the Infinity War trailer again.

Have learned a way to save money from Hollywood, and that is to only watch films where you are represented as one of the main roles, in The Marvels no one my age is represented as one of the main roles, nor is anyone from Norway in a main role .

SouthPark - Stick a chick in it and make her gay Marvel - OK, we'll put Valkyre in. Just because a multiverse film with lesbian characters won 7 Oscars earlier this year, does not mean you have the ability to create a movie that great

Using Iron Man and Captain America in this trailer is such a low ball move. It proves that Captain Marvel cannot stand on her own as a superhero movie because they wrote her poorly. The only way they can save this movie is if Morbius makes a surprise cameo.
