People forget Ali is 50. So, he isn’t a longtime answer for the character either. You might as well bring back the OG. I can’t see anyone else as Blade. Wesley owned this role. Especially, in that first film.

I read it was rumored Snipes may show up as a version of Blade, but we don't know yet. I hope he does. That would be cool.

​@illblerdmatic1 After all this time, we should atleast have a trailer about thie new blade movie. Never understood why they have problems finding directors for the Blade movies. Most other superhero movies, probably no issues finding and keeping a director throughout duration of that movie development. I always felt they should have done a "Blade 4: Bloodtide" movie with Wesley Snipes many years ago.

Snipes would never take up the role, if Blade is gay! That is a death warrant to the character Snapes would not character assassinate himself. My thinking is Marvel is just doing multiverse cameos that necessitates they beg Snipes for the cameo.If it's a cameo Blade should shut the door in their face! ..You want me to hunt them (audience dollars) for you? 🤬

(1) I'll believe it when I see it. (2) It doesn't mean anything if he is presented with a bad script; for instance, it has been rumored that M. Ali wasn't even the star in his own "BLADE" script, with two women having bigger roles in HIS proposed film. This treatment is reminiscent of the way Snipes was treated in the third "BLADE" film. I don't have hopes for any of this.

Yeah OG Blade wants come back said never called him to return. Marvel was trolling for his return. Wesley Snipes returns as Blade be for either Avengers 5 or 6 movies. He wants a decent contract from Marvel if he returns.

I’ve been following this for a min it’s not Ali. The writers been tryin to destroy this movie since he’s been on the project. Not only that look how long it took them to finally put Wesley back in. If I Ali does like the script now it’s cause the guy who wrote and produced Logan is now the new director of his blade movie.

Definitely not him studio under for the movie. True writers originally had for the movie weren't a good fit at all. Hope Blade doesn't go through what the first Black Panther went through tried sabotage the movie. Bob Iger didn't want a Black Panther movie. True, Ali seemed happy new script. Wesley Blade is another variant of Blade for MCU.

Why would they fire the new Blade?

It’s not that marvel don’t have faith in the actor. They had to rewrite the script five times and his version of blade it was trying to get rid of blade and his daughter take over. They only bring Wesley Snipes back because of the secret wars that’s it.
