what could I replace wolverine with? I have a good list for a disco deck, but only missing wolverine (which as I understand is the back up discard target) so I'm just not sure what to include. I thought about just putting Strong Guy in for now (as this is really the only other card I have right now with discard synergy, and isn't already in the deck) I'm having a hard time just putting a regular card in to fill it out TBH... feels like everything has it's place. Mine doesn't have Iron Man in though, so Maybe I should just run that for now (I think this is because this version has america chavez and they fill the same sort of role) I just got the deck online though, so this is just a guestimate. PS: don't have enchantress yet neither, I have Yondu instead in that Tech slot.

I didn't know why you were getting excited about Elektra for the Sunspot in Game 2. I knew you had a 50% chance to hit the squirrel, and you did. Fun was had by all in that match.

Alex, your Devil Dino deck video is private! Can you publish it again? Also, I have a question: why do you have cards that you CAN upgrade but you don't? What's the logic behind that? I see a lot of creators doing it, but wasn't sure why

I have tried this deck and it wasn't working for me until I added America Chavez to it. She makes deck much more consistent: 1. Reducing deck size by 1 makes you draw key cards more often. 2. Gives you solid turn 6 play in case your hand is bad/empty. (Without Apocalypse your hand if often bad/empty- because you play a lot of cheap cards and you discard quite a bit as well.) But I still face the biggest issue of this deck which is- constantly discarding Iron Man, FeelsSoBadMan.

I have chavez and iron man as well, as don't have wolverine. also have yondu instead of enchantress in the tech spot, but I don't have the former. How good is wolverine in the deck? I don't have this card so not been able to test it. I like angel in destroy so I see it as basically the same thing. Feels bad to not have it in my discard deck.

​@@D00M3R_MAVS After playing a bit more I can tell you: 1. Wolverine gives you a chance to not discard key cards like Iron Man, but he's not reliable enough in pool 1. You can instead play a good 2 drop like: Scarlet Witch or Colossus. 2. Yondu is not that good, you are most likely to help your opponent instead, just play Korg instead, he is way more reliable. 3. Instead of Enchantress you can play a good 4 drop like: Jessica Jones, Kazar or Namor. 4. Angel is a a lot worse version of Armor, it kind of protects your 1 drop, but it sucks when you draw it, which will be most of the time. So if you are missing any other cards, it's best to replace them with a good cards of the same energy cost.

@@Mziuto Thanks. I think I have all the cards I had missing from this now. Enchant is tech slot so just depends what I need. I like Yondu, but would consider changing if I don't like results. I just got Wolverine, so will test. I will likely end up running Chavez if I want more reliability in the deck.

Yeah that tier list was kind of whack too. I'm 100+ galactic and discard decks are good, reveal might be best until you get to 80 plus. Imo run killmonger.

I think it’s time for pool 2 decks, you’ve covered pool 1 extensively and I think most players are gonna be in tier two soon considering how it only takes about a week in a half to reach pool 2.

Isn't discard in pool one lagging behind things like Ka-Zoo and Odin Reveal... Not to say it is a bad deck, but I don't think it is the best.. I tried a few discard variants and it always felt to much draw dependant.. Also, wouldn't Strongman maybe be a good inclusion in the deck.. It's a possible 10 for 4.. ;)

If I had to rank them, I do think pool 1 discard is less consistent. That's Blade's fault lol. But it does have really good high roll potential. I tend to like the Value and Tempo decks better tbh

@@AlexanderCoccia Fair answer.. Yeah, I do not think it is completely dead, the problem is generally when you discard the wrong cards and/or do not draw apocalypse I feel.. I tried to use it a few times, but always felt it was very inconsistent.. And I even have way better results with things like Double Dino.. Then again my rng in this game is ridiculous.. It almost feels like the game is just screwing me over.. Get a good hand, Location: Shuffle back hand after turn 3... Just an example.. There are many more situations.. Also had a few bugs yesterday.. Dunno how or why.. But lost a bit of points due to that.. :/ One of the bugs was that my Jessica Jones got moved, to then be on the spot of another card (having both art/cards in one another.. ) counting as 3 cards (so Ant Man doesn't activate), but being unable to play a card there.. :/

What's the benefit of Apocalypse versus Hulk ? He's only better if he has been discarded 2 times, and they have the same cost

It's also worth noting that a lot of discard cards are higher tempo, because they discard.. which in most decks would be a disadvantage. But here they get the tempo and run up the Apoc

Splashing discard in as I've done here works, but it really becomes legit in pool 3. Blade is the awkward card here, and you're missing cards like Colleen Wing which are much more reliable
