Great review sir, picked this guy up yesterday and he went right on the shelf. He's a smudge tall, but like you said, he's a god. That hammer accessory is absolute bananas and awesome. I wonder if they got the idea from one of the thor minimates they did with that accessory.

I received this figure from BBTS yesterday and I agree with everything you said in the review. I think this is the best review of this Disney exclusive Mighty Thor on KZread too. *nailed it* I really like the plastic they used on this figure. Bends well, and feels sturdy.

Good review. I would also love to see this figure repainted as a Classic Thor, but if they do one it would be nice to see more articulation in the neck for flying poses.

rektangular I think some of it comes down to the hair, but a full on hinge at the neck would be great for more range of movement.

Not bad. Likely better than the last Select Thor in the old modern costume. For me, I'll stick with my ML Modern Thor (2012). Just wish I could get the SDCC version to add to my collection. And when am I ever going to see ML versions of Thunderstrike, Red Norvell, Dargo Ktor, Thor (Jane), and "Saga of Beta Ray Bill" Beta Ray Bill?!? Come on, Hasbro!

i remember back in 1981 and 1982 when g.i. joe and masters of the universe came out that we didnt know anything about them until we went into the stores and saw them.

What other Marvel Legends do you have standing on the shelf? Does the paint, etc... fit in with those guys too? The sort of muted colors would seem to make it stand out from the pack to me, even if it does look cool. Also, too bad it doesn't have a second open hand for the left hand so you could try to have him do a two handed swing... if articulation permits.

I know its pretty useless commenting on an older video but do you plan on reviewing the venom marvel select? It's stellar! Great video

It's a surprise hit. Like I mentioned in the review, I don't do a lot of Select because of the scale but man, they knock out some mean Asgardians.

Jerret Zwicker Run to the Disney store. The have them back in the shelves for $25. (10/28/17)

I missed out on several Thor figures in the past. With the 12-inch Marvel Legends Thor releasing in the near future, I might have to take a pass on this one and the Odin Build-A-Figure version.

Yup! Got 2 from my Disney Store. Awesome fig! Great review by the way.

If only hasbro would redo this version of Thor with the new body mold but also a classic version still need that Thor also

I can't even go back to these old ones. I was nervous to be online and trying to watch the accent and such. I finally said screw it, let it all hang out, and have been having much more fun since.

Just got mine a couple of days ago. Disney just restocked them. The only thing that would have make this figure perfect is toe articulation. Just my 2c

I hope they make Loki from the comics. A realistic version tho. Maybe a modern Loki.

I wish i got this one, over the marvel legend classic thor. I got my thor for 40 bucks and this in my opinion, looks better. I prefer the modern thor look.

Same. I'm gonna get this too over the classic marvel legends thor. Not only is the marvel legends thor of lesser quality and more pricey, I prefer the modern look over the classic one because the classic one looks like he came out of a circus.
