I finally 100%ed Marvel’s Spider-Man, and all I can say is that this is probably the best game I have ever played. Spider-Man isn’t just a character, he’s a symbol of how to be a better person. Like one of the many inspirational quotes that is said in the game, “You help somebody, you help everybody”, meaning that every small thing you do for someone amounts to something so much more. And I know this may sound childish, but I idolize and hope to be someone like Spider-Man one day. I would give anything in the world to become someone who does so much good even though it’s from the small things. Thank you, Stan Lee, for creating one of the best superheroes to ever exist. Rest in Peace...

Tobey’s is a classic, heroic superhero theme that gives off strong nostalgic vibes. It’s the theme you think of when you think of Spider-Man. It starts off with a quiet whisper, before suddenly being interrupted and quickly turning into a racing melody that seems to build up to triumphant highs in seconds flat. It perfectly encapsulates the speed at which Peter’s life changes. From a nerdy nobody high-schooler to New York’s sworn protector, all in a matter of a couple days. “This is my gift, my curse. 100% agree. I can't get enough of this game. I have gotten 4 100% completion in month. This is one of the few games that I feel a connection to. I think it's because this Peter is such a good and down to earth person. I don't think there are going to be any other games like this, ever again (besides sequels). In the sequel they need to do to improve on certain flaws. The boss battles need to feel more dynamic and less repetitive. Villains that can’t fit into the main storyline should be used in side missions like the Arkham games which will give the open world more depth. Spiderman was simply spectacular but not as good as it can be. Everything is in place. Combat, Graphics, Story, Sound etc is all there and the sequel can easily push this series to its full potential.

Honestly, this game is the sole reason I actually got interested in Marvel. I only played this game because I thought that it looked kinda fun to swing around and the graphics were cool. I wasn’t expecting it to be such a fucking masterpiece. This game made me interested in Spider-Man, then Marvel as a whole. Amazing.

The Arkham series already changed superhero games 9 years ago. If not for them, this Spider-Man game would probably not be as great. I mean, look at the fighting. It's pretty much the same mechanics, but with a Spidey skin. That's a compliment by the way.

Accept it, Peter will always be the best Spider-Man.

In my all time list, this theme is up there with the best. Another game that I bought at the same as this one, was Shadow of War. The menu theme in that game was incredible too.

In this masterpiece, you aren't playing as Peter Parker. *You are Peter Parker.* *You are SPIDERMAN.* Timeless games like this will always be proven better than any of Marvel's take of a superhero into the big screen. This game alone is better than EVERY SINGLE MOVIE related to Spiderman as a main character. It's just the best in every single thing. Best soundtrack records, best environment experience, bets suits and battle abilities, extremely well executed navigational system, simply spectacular. If Spiderman 2 manages to overcome this brilliant game, I will bow down to Insomniac as one of the best gaming studios that have ever existed.

Also, what an amazing, emotionally-charged final encounter with Doc Ock. The despair in Doc’s voice when he realizes that Peter has given up on him... the pain in Peter’s face as he abandons someone he had trusted... and all the while the looming sense of urgency to get the antidote still hangs over our heads... what a masterpiece of a game and a story.

This game brings tears in my eyes every time I hop onto the game. It has everything I ever wanted. Maguires maturity, Andrews agility and Holland’s technology and quips. In my opinion this game should be made into a movie or a tv series 100%.

There's a Spider-verse comics series which is based on the events that happen after the completion of the campaign. It starts off with Superior Spider-Man entering the Spider-Man PS4 universe looking for the PS4 Spider-Man as his help is needed when gather all of the Spider-verse's Spider-Men to defeat The Inheritors I believe.

@@prestonlim5662 If by Tobey Maguire, unfortunately no. In this case, I don't believe Spider-Man from either movie universes work. I believe it's to do more so with the comic iterations of Spider-Man.

Thank you Insomiac and Nixxes for porting this game to PC! I got goosebumps when Peter put on the Anti-Ock suit.
