First Day is the thirty-first main mission in Marvel's Spider-Man. Peter Parker makes his way to the F.E.A.S.T. shelter, where he promised he will meet Miles Morales on his first day of work.
After finishing in Otto Octavius' lab, Peter receives a text from Aunt May inviting him to the shelter to meet Miles, whose mother Rio Morales promised he was coming. On his way there, as Spider-Man, he spots Miles being mugged by a group of thugs. After rescuing him, Miles is excited by meeting Spider-Man, who gives him pointers on how to fight.
Miles then sneaks his way through a Sable International-controlled zone using a hacking app Miles developed, not wanting to be slowed down by the Sable checkpoint. Once there, after telling his mother he stands by his decision to work at the shelter instead of take up more therapy (her other offer), Miles meets up with Peter and begins to get the lay of the land.
At the shelter, Miles begins by making coffee and greeting the people at the shelter. He also fixes the TV for one of the residents, Ernie. After fixing it, when Jefferson Davis appears, Ernie complains that Davis is not a true hero due to dying in the explosion; as Miles holds his tongue, Peter interrupts and points out that Miles is Jefferson Davis' son, leading Ernie to apologize. After Miles meets Aunt May in the kitchen, May shows him around. Believing Sable would then be moving Dr. Morgan Michaels, Peter leaves the shelter and heads to the Bowery.
