Peter didn’t retire, it’s just that he and Miles are focusing on having better work life balances. That’s why Miles says “Go be Peter Parker for a while” and also why Miles wasn’t wearing his suit under his clothes in that last cutscene. Additionally, if you switch to Peter post-game he says that break time’s over.

It also mirrors the beginning of the game. At the start miles asks peter for help with sand man. Peter: “Are you sure you can’t handle this yourself?” Miles: “I’m sure.” At the end of the game miles says “I got this, I got all of it.”

It was sad enough for me to see Otto inevitably become Dr.Octopus, Insomniac made him a really good person at the majority of the game. Seeing Martin Li and Miles settle things down this game give me some hope to see Otto and Peter do the same thing in the next game. You never know.

After that second end credit scene. I wouldn’t be surprised if the next game is a 2nd Miles Morales spinoff game, as well as introducing Cindy Moon aka Silk and the step sibling relationship they’d both have. I think that’s most likely to happen before we get Marvel’s Spider-Man 3. Given by how things went down in this game. I could see the spin-off game’s villains focusing on Carnage as the main villain, Chameleon as a side villain and kinda Wraith. I can see Miles and Wraith being allies but not seeing eye to eye similar with Peter. Either that or they’ll just use these characters in some DLC their possibly planning.

Cindy moon being added will be interesting but honestly I’d rather just have miles and Peter be the spider-men cuz I feel like it’s already perfect having them be the only playable characters

Peter isn’t retired. There’s post game dialogue that clearly shows it’s meant to be after the ending. 1. He’s shocked that symbiote nests are around. 2. The last EMF mission makes it clear that harry is gone. 3. Kraven side quests he mentions that Kraven is already gone.

The only complaint on miles new suit is the mask if it covered the whole head then it would be cool

Otto said writing the final chapter so that could maybe hint at superior spider man. Now it could work because Otto has a disease were his body stops working and in the original story of superior spider man Otto switched bodies with Peter because he was dying. So my theory is that Otto will lose control of his body trick Peter into helping him because they used to be good friends. And then if that happens in spider man 3 we could see superior spider man vs green goblin.

Peter almost never gets a happy ending, writers just love giving him the worst life ever despite his upbeat nature. Peter B. Parked in the Spider-Verse films is the only one we've ever gotten who had a happy ending but that story is still ongoing so something horrible could still happen. Killing off Peter would be a tired cliché, the best and most original way for his story to end would be for him to fully and contentedly retire. Maybe he loses his powers, maybe he gets an injury that prevents him from being Spider-Man but still lets him live a normal life, idk, but it would be the best way to end it 100%.

I keep seeing people say Peter retired from being spider-man & that’s not at all what I took from it, a big part of the game was balance & not being spread to thin, when Peter talked to miles he said “go be peter Parker for a while” meaning he will at some point be spider-man again, just not to the point where he puts his entire life on hold everytime his phone app goes off.

Really hope if she is silk she’s playable off the jump for SM3. And in my crazy little mind, she should be because she’s shy (presumably from that weird wave) in the comics she got her powers from the same spider Pete did on the same day, but was trained secretly to fight the inheritors (Spider-People predators from the multiverse) and I think was even locked up in a bunker or lab while that happened and eventually broke out. Could be a similar story here, but who knows

I thought that guy was more interesting then just a cult leader. It didn’t really sink in it was Cletus until Yuri listed off his known aliases. I hope we get Carnage DLC for this game that introduces Cindy into the story. If we do get that, it will probably just be Miles and Cindy as Peter is taking a well deserved break.

@@Mr.X2188 Dope Idea, though Peter’s break (as well deserved as it is) probably won’t take long since Peter Parker always must suffer in some shape or form like in any comic book, movie, tv-show or game about him.

It’s not a Spider-Gwen reveal but if she is playable in a future installment I can definitely see them giving her a Ghost Spider costume as an alt

I mean if we are being honest Peter would either be recruited by Miquel with hints of a different Spider-Man coming along and picking him up leading to his appearance in Across the Spiderverse being something that they could include giving Cindy Moon a main role for a potential DLC to introduce her getting her powers and let her have her own game like Spider-Man Miles Morales which the Spiderverse stuff could kick in till 3rd game where Peter comes out of a portal assisting the new Spider Duo leading all 3 to be playable

Not hard to tell that Norman is going to make the jump to Green Goblin. If you watch the cut scenes closely, near the end every thing he's wearing has a them of green.

I just hope that when she does get powers as that is what's implied and she is playable the amount of characters doesn't become bloated and hard to follow.

And iv never liked her Spider sense being better, as it made no sense considering its established that Peter's always have generally better spider sense. Due to the web of life and destiny, further more Silk was bit by the same spider as Peter, so why would she have better spider sense the only thing she has going is agility.

I just beat the game myself and found this video shortly afterwards. I knew the name Cindy meant something. But I didn't know what.

I like how Norman has been responsible for the destruction of the city TWICE now and Peter has yet to bat an eye.

Loved the whole story of this game so much, really liked the mid credit scene and post credit scene too! Mid credit scene: Octavius working with Norman? Green goblin for sure. And Post Credit Scene: Albert Moon and Cindy Moon, SILK!!

Watching all of the credit scenes gives us information on what's coming next. Huge possibility for SpiderMan Miles Morales 2, as peter is focusing his life as "Peter Parker" he will not be available for a while, hence miles will be the only character available. The next thing is about cindy moon, we all know what she does with Spiderman every time they meet in the comics, but it will be weird with miles since she will become his step sister. I was hoping we could get cindy moon, but not as miles's step sibling 😭 . But this only gives us a clue that Spider Gwen could be possible.

I don't even read comics, but i got super hype as soon as I heard cindy's name.

I hope they changed the spider that bit Cindy, AKA Silk. Because, in the comics, Cindy was bit by the same spider that bit Peter. And because of that, whenever they are in proximity of each other, they get excited to the point that they start doing the yoinky sploinky right where they are. Dunno how well MJ will take that, considering she fought off Scream to be with Pete.

I have a feeling that in the Otto and Norman cutscene what Otto is planning is to take over Peter's body and become the Superior Spider-Man.

I think insomniac will create their own version of Monster Ock as a villain in Spider-Man 3. While also having Green goblin sharing the spotlight as the main villain

I really hope that Cindy won’t be a new playable character, if there are 3 spiders, it would be way too much, and even if, Cindy’s powers don’t really differ from Peter’s so it would just be like having 2 Peters and most universes only have 1 spider, but this one would have 3. Then again they could have Peter quit being Spider-Man for a while which I also wouldn’t like too much because, what is a Spider-Man game that isn’t a spinoff that doesn’t have the original Spider-Man in it

Spider-Man 3: Something to do with the Spiderverse, Peter is taking a break at first and join Miles and Cindy as the Spider-People from time to time and a bunch new and old villains, at some point Peter is taken over and (Superior)Spider-Man takes reign for a while, MJ gets a serious power upgrade,the goblin shows up, Harry might die at some point making Norman lose it and go full goblin and none of them can stop him, Otto regives Peter control and Spider-Man(Peter), Spider-Man(Miles), and Silk(Cindy) fight the Green Goblin and take him down while in the process Peter dies finally at peace while Miles takes the reigns as head Spider-Man teaches Cindy the ropes and protecting the city.

Ngl I feel like insomniac should just stick to Miles and Peter. I honestly believe adding a third spider person will be over doing it. If insomniac does do another Miles game silk can be the villain but to add another spider hero will just seem meh

She gonna be the last spider person for sure since the third game is the last one. Cindy moon might prob not become the third spider person. This is a different universe where there’s some things that are different like Harry being venom and Cletus being the flame.

Game was really good with very minor flaws. For example I still have no idea if Electro is dead I wish we got more time with the Villains who got hunted (like Shocker, Scorpion, etc.) because they are important characters. Also Norman being angry at Spider-Man feel super forced like he literally was in the room with Dr. Connors when he said he’s too far gone. Aside from that everything is nearly perfect

Norman is asking Otto the identities of the spider-men but if you ask google saying does Norman know that Peter is spider- man it says that Norman already knows that Peter is spider man.

The next game after Wolverine has to be Silk becoming a spider woman

Spider-Man 3 should be about Norman making Goblin bots that have a resemblance to the Hobgoblin. He, the Green Goblin, will be the leader of the robots.

Does Peter permanently retain the anti-venom powers he gained from Lee? Also, the powers Lee gave him, do they make him stronger in general? Or are they only anti-venom/ anti-symbioticly valuable. I notice he retains the focused mode (R3+L3 activated, forgot what exactly it was called, similar to rage mode without the rage)

I’m assuming they’re permanent, which is epic and puts him at an equal footing power wise with Miles. Now how they handle the symbiote going forward will be interesting. Will he lose it in the next game after a fight, will it have unknown side effects that pop up in the future? Insomniac can go a lot of directions with it.

Nah i think miles was still stronger because when they both had separate fights with Venom peter was up again Venom before he mutated and he got beat while having Anti-symbiote properties and Miles was up again the stronger mutated Venom and held his own with no anti-symbiote assistance so it shows that Miles is clearly the stronger of the 2 especially the fact that he beat symbiote peter in a 1v1 fight too and symbiote peter is the same as Anti-Venom just without the negative effects and the fact that he have anti-symbiote powers... honestly if u replay the game u will see that Miles was doing most of the heavy lifting thru out the game against most villains starting with SandMan

@@jayshine2742symbiote peter vs miles isn’t just miles vs peter it’s miles and peter vs the symbiote peter was fighting back actively and don’t forget miles used a bell aswell the anti venom symbiote has no weaknesses and in the venom fight venom was focused only on peter and defeating him so he can turn him into a symbiote and heal the world like harry always wanted too with him and venom didn’t care about miles and never wanted him to be in the future he was trying to make (which is what venom said) we also see this in the tv trailer where the two spider men are gliding down and venom is focused on peter only and not even focused on miles

And also in the Peter VS Miles fight Miles was trying to calm Peter down while Peter look to have been tryna kill Miles because he wasnt himself and was halfway controlled by Venom/Symbiote and even when he wasnt using the bell he was still getting the best of Symbiote Peter but i think they were trying to clearly show that Miles was the more stronger Spider-Man even from the previous game when Rhino knocked Peter out and then Miles knocked out Rhino and of course AntiVenom Peter is stronger but Miles also got a lot stronger since then and Miles was a rookie beating Rhino after Peter loss that fight

I think Miles and Cindy are going to form a sibling like bond and Marvels Spiderman Miles Morales 2 ends with Albert and Rio getting married. Therefore, Miles and Cindy are siblings.

nah bruh making another lone miles game would be a redundant and unnecessary the only reason he got his own game was to establish him as his own spider man which they did well already and it's still mostly Peter's story overall

I honestly thought that the guy Rio was dating would end up being Eddie Brock teasing that Venom would return in some way in part 3. We're getting The Green Goblin and i know that we're getting Carnage in some shape or form (we have to) so Venom can't be dead. Also if we do get Carnage then imagine we get him bonding with Norman becoming Red Goblin, one of the deadliest foes Spider-Man has ever faced 😱

@@salvinadevi9971 I know thats a lot when it comes to the Symbiotes but the developers have hinted at a possible Venom spin off so he's still alive some how (no idea how lol he was turned to dust 🤷‍♂️) and it could lead into Spider-Man 3 like how the Mile's Morales game lead in 2. If they don't do Red Goblin then there could be a conflict between Venom and Carnage by the end of 3 while Spider-Man is going up against Goblin. Eddie Brock Venom started out as one of Spider-Man's greatest enemies but Venom with Brock changed over the years and became an Anti-hero kind of like he is in the movies with Tom Hardy and of course the Agent Venom character. While Carnage is also one of Spider-Man's greatest enemies the conflict between Venom and Carnage grew to the level that they are basically each others arch enemy. If that's the case then Brock really should of made an appearance in 2 along with at Marvel characters to expand the Marvel Insomniac universe giving 3 that larger scope. Or... they could tie up the Symbiotes story completely with dlc and spin games. We shall see, there's SO much they can do with the last game 🤯

Spider-Man 3 will be straight fire I can already tell from this (or this will probably be DLC)
