This part is my opinion, I like the Marvel’s Spider-Man’s theme but it is kinda generic (including Miles). Both of their themes are just okay.

Peter's theme evolved along with him as a character and it does sound triumphant and him pushing through all of those obstacles and challenges he had to go through in the first installment. I love when the themes evolve with the characters because it makes me appreciate everything more.

I love how this theme takes you on a journey. You get that classic Spider-Man orchestral sound from the first game and then throw in the trap sound for some Miles and THEN the sheer darkness of the last section which just screams Venom. I can’t wait to play and hear this in game

I think Insomniac and John Paesano definitely knew what they were doing when crafting the soundtrack for this game with there being 3 parts to this main theme right here. 1 for Peter, one for Miles, and then one for Venom is very much the perfect idea for the story of this game. And you know, it only has the most impressive physics engine that allows for truly untethered freedom in how to complete the game. It’s only the most impressive achievement in video games. bro, the 1st game main theme is epic and heroic, it denotes the trajectory of the game in its entirety, with its grave notes that shows that at one point everything turns out bad but it always maintains that heroic vibe that shows that everything ends good, but with this... the change of note and rhythm at minute 2:15... dude something very bad will happen in the game and it will be brutal, this game will be legendary

I always gotta let this play through for a bit before I press start at the main menu….gotta lock in before I protect the neighborhood

0:00 - 1:20: that's Peter theme however it sounds ominous and serious due to him wearing the Black Suit which shows him a little sinister to everyone and fits the dark tone of the game. 1:20 - 2:20: that's Miles theme which is similar to the previous game, but the orchesta makes the theme more epic which gives the idea that that Miles has become more stronger and mature and is willing to face his biggest Challenge yet. 2:20 - 3:21: this theme is new, sounds very chaotic and scary which gives the idea of facing a predator or a force of destruction which foreshadows the arrival of both Venom and Kraven in the game and probably even the Green Goblin at a post credit scene.

imagine swinging to this, hype oveeeerrrrrloooooaaaaddddd!!!

I’m curious to what the menu looks like, will it be like the first one where it will show Peter on a wall or something like that, then as it becomes mile’s music it can switch to the other side of the wall with him on it, then when both their music hits it can show them both, and finally when venoms music hits it shows the other side of the wall with him just perched on it menacingly, potential to be such a hype main menu

i love how it mixes the 2 themes together

It has that Danny Elfman feel to it with a trap beat.

I love how they combined the first game's theme and mm's theme and added a venom theme at the end

I almost forgot how epic it was hearing the theme of this game in the main menu, where it would make me sit for a good 30 seconds on the start screen just listening to that beauty

John Paesano never misses. He has some competition this year for Best Soundtrack but that doesn't matter because he will make a fantastic score as always

Just saw across the spider-verse. It was a decent film, but pretty well written. Now we have Marvel's Spiderman 2 and Kraven The Hunter BOTH releasing in OCTOBER!!! What a time to be a Spiderman fan!!

Venom’s theme hits different after that tv spot where he’s absolutely gargantuan.

Nice mix of the Peter, Miles and Venom theme. I can't wait for Spider-Man 2 (PS5)! The hype is growing stronger.
