@@anibalgleza407 what Marvel’s Avengers has is a linear level design philosophy with small amounts of semi-linear elements. Granted, you can roam about the selected area in a mission and complete any available side objectives at your leisure, however the game wants you to consistently keep pace with your teammates and the current main objective as you navigate from zone to zone. It’s the precise reason why most missions are broken up into multiple parts with loading times and why characters like Spider-Man, Iron Man, and Thor/Mighty Thor are given similar speeds for general traversal (even though Spider-Man and Hulk are arguably the two fastest characters by a significant margin with the final update changes according to personal experience)

Balance is always an issue with these kinda games and remember everyone is on KZread finding the meta! Hopefully they nerf and buff things frequently they should have a start of season patch and a mid season patch to keep it fresh

The fact that some of the characters have different passives that rely on other characters gives this game a unique outcome!

I love the "Suggested Combo" section for new players -it may not be optimal in the long run, but its a great starting point for players trying to get a feel for the hero :)

We need to keep this game alive guys. This looks amazing

At least it despawns after ressing one person. Not like it has to be killed and it won't heal or anything after it resses a person. Probably won't win a fight unless it resses a tank like groot, not like he should be near it anyways.

Surprised I'm not seeing anyone comment on how OP Loki looks. I keep seeing people saying Rocket Racoon looks OP which inherently makes Loki OP. Why have one Rocket Racoon when you can have two? Loki to me looks like an eternal meta pick until that ability is changed. When you have a Loki on your team, you double up on the best DPS, tank, and support of your own team as well as the variety of the enemy team and can utilize the extra role depending on the needs of a situation. The fact Loki even has a solid kit outside of that is insane. It's crazy to me he's only a 4/5 star on in game difficulty ranking when you need to have a good fundamental knowledge of playing every character in the game to utilize him to the fullest. At least knowing how to play every meta pick character well at minimum.

He really is everything. His main role is vanguard which is tank, but he can totally do damage. No heal but he has that portal utility, very cool. The portal is also like a real portal, most games do something like the Magik tp or symmetra tp, but you can see through Stranges and seamlessly jump through it; like from the Portal games. I haven't seen that in a multiplayer game before.

@@coryv5679 nope. Janus shoots a global flying ball and creates "tunnels" on surface, so you can pass through walls with the created portals. Dr strange here picks a location somewhere mid air and links it with his current position creating an instant gateway without any surface

ability count doesn't matter, what matters is how good the abilities are. A character can have 100 abilities but if they all suck or are useless then they are worse than a character with only 1 abilities that is godly strong.

No I don't think ability count matters too much. It really depends on how strong the hero is at base. Storm for example has aura so she doesn't need as many abilities as Spiderman. It's all about power budget in heroes/champs. For example blitzcrank doesn't have the best ult but his hook is so good that it doesn't matter. You can see this with a hero like Tracer. Her blink and rewind is all she needs. She doesn't need all the extra shit genji gets. But yeah you usually see this with abilities that provide a huge boon. Think the only character that surprised me with having a lot of abilities is Dr. Strange lol

No one has played it yet AND it's going to be a closed alpha when we do. We can talk balance after a week, even then people won't have a good grasp on it. When a game comes out everyone sucks at it, and ai mean everyone.were all gaming journalists for a bit (with decent aiming). There's going to be doctor strangest that just do t use the portal, black panthers thay don't know how to get resets, lokis that don't know they can heal, rocket raccoons that put down the revive station just to die and respawn in it to die again.

I feel like Punisher and Rocket are gonna be the meta pairing across the board. Their normal attack damage is very strong while Rocket is able to provide insane support and their team-up ability will also make Punisher even more menacing. And then you start pairing those two alongside a team of other strong defense/support heroes like Groot and Luna...

I actually like how the heros look and work. They have a lot of variety when it comes to abilities so they’re not stuck to one playstyle. Not to mention the team passives are actually a cool idea.

Character designs and art direction looks nice. Not sure about some of the character movements and animations, though.

I'm liking how strong the art direction is so far! I'd love an expanded roster though, it's crazy that Cap and Thor aren't here, and I NEED to see some villains in this artstyle

These all look great...but one issue with the SFX and audio team is, all these moves don't feel "impactful" it's got the character animations but when the moves or attacks make contact its like it's getting hit by a bubble gun. The attacks hit the opponents like Chick-fil-A paper napkins. But otherwise, this is looking promising. Love the art style character choices for the roster. It's got a very "Pandart" kind of style. I love it

Actually really true, the sound designs could have a lot of weight to them. I know we can't keep comparing everything to Overwatch but I have to admit, the sound designs for their characters are so good, It's very "Heavy" and instantly recognizable. Take roadhogs hook or widowmakers shot. These all are SUPER recognizable and is very "loud". Here in this game the audio feels overall the same for most characters cause every sound effect is drastically toned down. Another big criticism is the actual attacks, everything feels too floaty like everyone is playing on zero gravity or something, Definitely needs more commitment when you do attacks, Magiks sword when I first saw it I thought it be a heavy commit sword that feels amazing to use but incredibly heavy but it dosen't even feel like you're holding a big chuck of a sword. Overall a lot of clear issues which I hope get's fixed before the final game, otherwise sadly I can see this game hyping up for about a month before it kills it's player base drastically

IM SO HYPE!! the characters are actually fairly creative and unique

These abilities are way more complicated than I thought they would be. And no ultimates?! I wouldn't expect Marvel to try new things like this - they tend to try and keep it kid-easy but this actually looks like a fully cooked game that's actually strategically not like the others. It’s actually crazy how much we are unintentionally reminded of what James Gunn did for Marvel. He took characters that not many knew and made them household names. It is pretty wild that 3 of the starting roster spots are characters that he helped bring to the spotlight.

I really don’t know how OP anybody’s gonna be until games are actually played and people are going to change constantly so I’m not worried about any specific character. Everybody looks strong in their own way and they all look really fun.

I really hope this games turns out to be a hit and doesn't die in a couple months so we could have more content for years to come like new characters, skins, and maybe even modes

Punisher is straightforward nice, not too hard to play him from what it looks like

Friendship ended with Overwatch now Marvel Rising is my best friend.

The sound effects are kind of weird to me, speaking of normal attack for some characters particularly. But the visuals are amazing, it has its own style that stand out from other games.

I like most of what i see. I think they could have done a little more with storm though and i don't like Rocket being a support when he should be a ranged dps lunatic like you'd expect. Would have liked to see Strange make use of more magic like Crimson Bands, Bolts of Bolthakk, Seven Suns of Cinnibus. Just little personal gripes.

His ability set looks pretty cool. Panther's dps potential however doesn't look very good. Hopefully they'll improve his numbers. Also, I'm wondering what his spear's force field is even supposed to do as the demo doesn't show this.

As a huge overwatch fan, this actually looks pretty cool, I’m just hoping it’s not a fad, and actually hangs around for awhile
