@@ak0097 Well because I kind of got what I wanted from Marvel Legends. Meaning I completed my X-Men team and I have almost every character. So I don't buy the figure unless they do something new and drastic. Mostly went over and I started collecting DC McFarlane figs. At least he's giving us original molds. And it's a way to build up my DC collection as well

Didn't know you took request, could you please review the Zombie Captain America? That's no trolling one of the best marvel legends IMO

I wanted this figure so bad, was just happy to have it, but now when I look at it it really leaves a lot to be desired.

@@11acteck I liked it before and I still like it while acknowledging every problem it has haha, it was like $12 it's fine for that price. I did find a photo of her being that color from some comic too, not sure why they went with it but it does exist.

I always enjoy the content .I really like the retro carded legends it's going to suck when we don't get anymore of them because of the new no plastic packaging the fact that you aren't able to look at the figs paint application and to make sure it doesn't have two left feet not to mention the amount of swap outs that are going to happen .keep up the good work Cheers

I got it and I like it. I left mine in the packaged and hung it on the wall.

There are only a handful of Marvel Legends that I have passed on under $10. This is one of them- the Eternals and the AOA wave are some of the others (I got hold of an AOA case for $60 for the BAF and traded most of them).

Hasbro's Fornite Victory Royale series has been putting out some notable figures. Even if you don't play Fortnite most of the skins are just character designs with no particular backstory. I recommend picking up the Midas Rex figure, it's my favorite out of the line, and unlike Marvel Legends and McFarlane they come with guns.

I was excited when I learned that Hasbro was going to be re-releasing Tigra back into the line. The first Tigra that was released by Hasbro is really expensive on the after market, so I wasn't going to pass on finally getting Tigra for my collection. It's just a shame that they messed up on the design of this figure.

This figure represents everything wrong with Marvel Legends circa 2020-2022. When this figure was first revealed, I just wanted to look the Hasbro team in the face and say “Good Lord, have you guys just completely stopped caring?!?” This “Retro Card”/“Fan Channel Exclusive” concept has rarely amounted to more than a vehicle to release poorly made figures and lazy re-decos. You want to do that with “Grey Beast”? Fine. Knock yourselves out. You want to do it with one of my favorite characters that I’ve waited years to get an upgrade of? Now you’ve pissed me off. The fact that I still prefer the Nemesis wave Tigra, which was released at arguably the lowest point in Hasbro’s history with the license speaks volumes. This figure deserves to be lambasted. I’m just glad we have someone like Anthony that has the integrity to do it. Fortunately, there are a few others out there now as well.

I’d argue we’ve been at a new low ever since the 25 dollar and up price increase, these figures felt like a bit of a con to me even at 20 but for the quality to get even worse as the prices raise is unacceptable I mean in the early Hasbro days at least the figures were still affordable and you got awesome BAFs like Fin Fang Foom, Blob, Annihilus, what do we have now? 25 dollar McDonald’s toys with the worst sculpting ever and barely functional articulation lol

I know this figure is too orange, But to me, Tigra is beautiful with her non screaming head while having awesome pinless double jointed elbows because the old Hasbro one is pretty good but not great, But still, She is an awesome Marvel Legends female figure in my opinion.

Is the black on yours actually black, or is that your camera/lighting? Mine is like a non metallic gun metal for the stripes then a metallic gun metal for the clothing (is it supposed to be armor?). I got it on sale at best buy when it was like $12. I doubt they had a special colored release or anything like that.

AC - great video and thanks so much for the "trolling" comments as they are desperately needed in our community. Refraining from preaching from the pulpit, my only comment on this matter is some people accept compromises that others don't. NOTHING, not an iota of design represents Grier Nelson in any way. If this is what the trolls want you to believe is the best Legend, well you've stumbled upon our predicament: as long as people accept the compromises of design and quality, Hasbro will continue cranking out stuff like this. This is a bath toy for a three-year-old. Which makes my bank account very happy.

I hope that MARVEL LEGENDS give us VENOMPOOL (the baf) in a SINGLE RELEASE!! I WILL BUY 10 OF THAT.

I wanted to get this just because of how eye catching it is, but since you hadn't had a video posted about her I figured she must've been a lame figure to the point where you didn't even buy it, now I'm just glad I never spent the money since you solidified my suspensions 😂

Best Buy has it discounted at 13.99 online and 14.99 in store last time I checked. And the fact that they sold it for that much is the only reason why I bought one in the first place

Anthony, your reaction to this figure was priceless, had me rolling on the floor. HA! i like this figure because it makes me think of a random fortnite character, but as for being a 'marvel's tigra' not so much. but I'm still glad I got it. but I do agree with people who say hasbro really needs to get their head out and step it up! especially if they expect us to pay the loaded bloated prices they're pushing!

I had the exact same thoughts when I opened the figure. I partially got it because of West Coast Avengers but also because of how much praise she was getting. This figure is not good. The color is way off, the sculpt is very unfeminine and unheroic, and the joints are so incredibly soft. I'm worried the joints are going to tear every time I handle the figure. I don't hate the figure, but man, it's just so mediocre and so underwhelming. It's just frustrating because everything on this figure is new. So they spent the money, but they just don't do it right. It wouldn't cost them anything extra to just do it right and make action figures that are heroic and actiony.

For me it was the orange, i remember her being more in-between yellow and orange, lighter orange than this

There is a version of Tigra from the mobile game Avengers Academy where she looks young and sounds young (she was voiced by Bella Thorne back when she was a teenager), so I’m thinking this is another retro Spider-armor situation, in that this figure comes in retro comic based packaging but the figure itself is not comic based. And I really wish they would just not do that, because it makes both the figure and the packaging inaccurate because of that.

i really need to start cancelling some hasbro preorders...

I got this recently for a cheap price, and your review just confirms all the issues i have with the figure. A female superhero with tigerpowers sounds awesome, sadly this is not... She should have amazing articulation, considering her appearance, unfortunately all her movements are soo limited that this looks more like a cosplayer with bodypaint on. Shame Hasbro shame

Not perfect, but I'll take a modern Hasbro iteration over Toy Biz any day.

Anthony, the figure was made for people who wanted the West Coast Avengers to be completed, more are needed but she was a step towards that goal. Problem is parts reuse. They did not commit enough to the character in the sculpt. All the cost cutting and lack of detail so she could be some other female(s). Some image somewhere will in some way justify the color it's just can you buy into it. I like the idea I have the figure but I agree with all your points. It's a well known industry practice but for adult collectors it leaves a sour taste in your mouth. Especially if you wanted this character to be individual or special. Great review.

My point is by not commiting more fur detail or the tail being more rooted to the figure(something you pointed out) future Hasbro sculpters can turn that female buck with somewhat little effort into( loosely put in your words) -a female body you can see anywhere). Same with less muscle definition. By not making her more individual the body molds can be modified into other figures. Adding more plastic to make clothes, adding detail or whatever is needed. In my opinion.

This isn’t directed at you Steve, but if the thought process behind releasing this figure was to work towards completing the West Coast Avengers, wouldn’t actually reading a few issues seem like a right smart thing to do? I’m sure Hasbro can afford a subscription to Marvel Unlimited. If that’s too much effort, just look at the cover of the first issue. There’s Tigra, front and center in her iconic look. In fact, it’s pretty much how she’s looked for the last 45 years. What we received was a figure that looks like it was based on a piece of fan art with no prior knowledge whatsoever of the character or her published history on the part of the Hasbro team.

All figures now have to have a hip drop function. I'm tired of figures of characters being super agile not being able to go down to the floor. ML are the worst offender.

They don't need the drop-down feature to move the leg well. Seriously, compare the Retro Spider-Man with that function to the Cyborg Spider-Man without it and the Cyborg Spidey's leg moves better. It's all about how they implement it and they are consistently inconsistent. Look at the double ballpeg neck, it's the best way to do it, but they did it correctly like 1 time with War-Machine and never since (to my knowledge). Tldr. They should focus on doing hip movement well rather than gimick solutions that they screw up anyways.

Sooooo disappointing. Classic Tigra had big assed hair and definitely wasn’t neon orange. It’s just weird because they’re selling her as a retro figure but if anything those are more modern looking heads. I just don’t get the choices their design team makes a lot of the time.

This guy is seriously deranged.. This Tigra action figure is so AWESOME... he needs to be quiet about Tigra and start learning how to think properly and how to make proper reviews.

This figure looks like crap and I've been saying that since day 1. I wanted a Tigra because it's always exciting getting characters you don't have yet, but as soon as it was released I lost all intention of buying it

I usually like your reviews, because you're not afraid to be objective, but I think that this time, you are unfair. At worst, you can call this figure average but not awful. She's at least equally good asi Lady loki figure, which you yourself claimed to like. She can definitely compete with some figures way above her price, like mcu figuarts. I also don't understand your problem with the color, the yellowish tone makes her look like a sick, dying person, bright orange looks way more better on something that is supposed to be displayed. I get your point with the sculpt and the anatomy but you contradict yourself when you criticise that the figure does not match the source material while you also think she shouldn't have smooth texture - in the few comics she has, she's being drawn smooth, the fur is visible mostly on knees and elbows exactly like it is on the sculpt. There's a lot to like about this figure, which is why many people like her.

This figure features almost all new parts. Lady Loki had almost no new parts. That one had good paint. This one doesn't. That one looked like the character. This one doesn't. I could go on.
