Fun fact: Spiderman has said he's very glad Shocker isn't that creative when it comes to being a criminal and only resorts to bank robberies because the shock gauntlets are capable of leveling city blocks if used correctly. So Spiderman pretty much confirms Shocker could be a serious threat if he took himself seriously

I love shocker's character design. It feels a little dated with a 70's vest and color scheme, but I it just works as a great contrast with Spider-Man.

I agree, the accessories are more for Dr Strange - love to have seen the sonar pulses created differently. Great review.

I hear you about Shocker, when I picture Spider-Man swinging around and just coming across a villain, Shocker is the villain I think of. My only problems with this figure are the paint/colours are a bit inconsistent. I don't think the yellows completely match from the torso to the limbs, and the brown at least on mine is a bit fuzzy in places and on one leg it's a bit chipped. Still, I think this figure cuts a great silhouette, love the proportions and the hand options allow for more expressive poses than most figures in the line.

For years I thought that Shocker shot electricity, but it is really shock waves. The costume is more of a quilt than a fishnet to absorb the vibrations he gives off. If the lines were drawn in this would look perfect. I am getting this for sure.

When I was a kid in elementary, I had a group of friends who loved Spider-Man too and we had coloring books with all of his villains in them. I will always fondly remember coloring in the yellow and drawing the lines on Shocker.

I gotta that D Amazing is another great guy doing a great job with the way he reviews the figures like posing, talking about the articulation, and the size comeparisions to other figures are perfect, While this Shocker is cool for Spiderman to fight against, I'm still going to get Gamerverse Miles Morales, Retro Spiderman 2099, Retro Sandman, and Morlun

Remember Shocker and Rhino teaming a lot in the toon.

Still on pre order. This looks like its gonna be my favourite one of the wave with symbiote spidey. Hoping for rhino and lizard!

It is rumored that we are getting a lizard here in a couple months or so but unfortunately it will be a Walmart exclusive. We should be gettin a rhino soon too, I have the original but I want a more classic one 🤞

Good review, it just looks really good, scales good, and has pretty good articulation. I’m picking up this shocker as soon as I can for sure

mix up some black acrylic paint with some water go to town on this bad boy and whip it off. It will look so good with a wash and a flat coat.

Iron fist did this too where you swap hands half way down his forearms

You can easily paint the lines with a black gundam marker my man! if somehow you miss the line you can just clean it up with a eraser

Maybe a gundam marker would be good for lining the mesh on him

Another moment with shocker was in secret empire. He was fighting along side members of uncanny avengers in a darkness infected New York. Rogue even offered him a chance to reform and become a member of the avengers. But he turned her down. But also respected her, dispite being a hero

I’ve seen subtle washing over the lines that looked good but I understand why Hasbro did what they did. The material is quilt like and not fishnets at all. Cushions him since he has vibration gadgets. They did want the paint to look weird. But it would’ve been nice to see a darker yellow or light brown to bring out the quilt stitching.

I think you forgot to pair him up with Rhino , like in the animated series.
