While looking at a movie still I noticed the pattern on Shang-Chi’s costume is actually meant to look like dragon scales and the staff has dragon scales on both ends of it.

I’m half Chinese and I say it “Shang-Chi” , I think it’s just the American accents that make it sound like “Shung-Chi” . Not saying how I pronounce it is the correct way. Just thought I’d share how I say it😄

When Death Dealer is revealed to be Scott Lang in the movies, I'm going to remember that Robo figured it out first.

That classic Iron Man POPS like DAMN. The rest of the figs are pretty good too, don't care much for MCU legends, might cop Civil warrior for fodder 🤔

Civil Warrior is probably my favorite of the entire wave. Been waiting for that figure since we got the Hydra version.

This was such a sneaky drop. I was glad to find it in stores as well.

I love the way you go to neck articulation and just yank the neck back and say he can look up

The Mr. Hyde BAF is hat-to-shoe the same design he has in Contest of Champions, but the outfit's from his appearance in Thunderbolts in 2011

man I would love a whole wave of Marvel's *Contest of Champions* , character designs are really cool in that game. We already got VenomPool & Civil Warrior, so fingers-crossed.

I’m debating on getting Wenwu as he looks great but the limited articulation makes me a little apprehensive, although Shang-Chi is a must get

I somehow missed it during the 80th Anniversary Iron Man review, so after I watched this last night I turned around the legs on my 80th and my Arno Stark and spent five minutes going "well CRAP no wonder it was such a pain to get them to stand up".

If ever there was a time for Hasbro to implement cloth goods and step up their game, *THIS* was it. All of these figures were practically *SCREAMING* "Give me CLOTH dammit!" Missed opportunity, Hasbro. Total missed opportunity.

We'd have to pay a lot more for those figures so Hasbro would make a profit, and at that point why not just spend a little extra and get an import? It's why I don't ever expect cloth goods on Marvel Legends.

I found this wave at Walmart the other day, and snagged them all. That Shang-Chi trailer hyped me up for the figures. My favorite two from the wave are Civil Warrior and the BAF, but for the MCU figures I gotta go with Death Dealer.

As soon as you got Shang Chi out of the box I instantly got the vibe that his outfit looks like a Power Ranger pre-morphin’.

The Ten Rings debuted in Iron Man 1 and we got an Iron Man in this wave. Mr. Hyde made a noteworthy appearance in the legendary Roger Stern/John Byrne Captain America run and we got a Steve Rogers in this wave. Any other questions, Robo?

After re watching Ironman I’m just like damn so the mandarin was gonna kill Tony from the beginning but probably was informed he’s the key to the universes survival and keeping him alive to build his suit was the ten rings entire purpose not making that one missile

I’d love to pick up the Shang Chi figure, but I’ll wait until they release another one with another head sculpt. The body’s amazing but the face just makes him look bored. Like this is a resting Shang chi but really doesn’t work for fighting scene pics

well it's actually because they didn't want all-powerful jewellery after we just had the infinity stones, plus it's like those iron bands around arm weapons that chinese warriors have actually had in the past

This is just a note. The way you can put on the shield without snapping the pegs, just slide it on from the side of the wrist and then turn the shield to the top of the forearm

I got the A.I Stark and he's my best figure so far. Might as well soon pick up the Civil Warrior Cap.

I painted in the nails on my Mr. Hyde, normally I don't bother but since the nails were so detailed I felt they needed a sort of ugly yellowing to them

13:41 I believe those are called tiger hook swords. I think those swords are normally dual wielded so I was hoping we'd get two. But I could be wrong

​@@TheFwoosh After getting the 80 years Iron Man I swore off getting any more Iron Man figures for my comic display, he's the only one I need and I just don't have the space. With that said, they should rerelease every Iron Man figure that has a gold and red colour scheme with these colours, that recently revealed modular Iron Man in these colours would hit me right in the nostalgia spot since that look was my introduction to Iron Man and he had those colours.

I've seen like 4 reviews of the AI Iron Man and no one make a size comparison to the Onslaught Wave Captain America 😔

That Cap is the same body as the 80 Years Cap everyone is comparing him with. He just has a chest overlay and new deltoids to account for the scale mail.

Is not 100% the same body, the 80th Cap use the Spider UK legs and the chest and shoulders make him a litte bit taller

Great review Robo! The designs of the Shang-Chi movie costumes are cool. I agree the waist on Shang-Chi would look so much better without that cut. And no fists is an odd choice. I will say though that seeing them all together at the end, they all look so bored, lol. An alternate angry or fighting head would look good for all of them.

I like that there's a mobile game character ,hopefuly they'll make Peggy Carter Cap from Marvel Puzzle Quest. Mr.Hyde looks like he's on some kind of drugs I only now noticed 10 ring symbol at the waist

For civil warrior the entire arm including the hand is reuse of night thrasher I believe

I like the Wenwu figure, but yeah, the skirt thingy is limiting articulation, so I had to cut 4 openings to it and it really good now...

I, for one, don't care how Robo pronounces it. I'm entertained and informed. That's enough for me.

Other than that you needed to be waaaaay more excited to be holding a little Tony Leung in your hand 😉 this was great. Here for the Wenwu figure only because I NEED him…I think…thank you for providing the goods

Hey Robo, if you haven’t seen, hasbro has also put out a toy of the “Great Protector” dragon character from the Shang-Chi movie that scales pretty well with legends. Retails for 20 bucks, might be worth checking out for a future review or play day!

a slit on both sides would easily fix the articulation issues with these bathrobe figs.

The design on Death Dealers boots are the letter D for Death/Dealer

The only one that seems somewhat cohesive between comic and movie parts of the wave is Iron Man, and that’s because Mandarin is an Iron Man villain in the comics.

@TheFwoosh. I highly recommend the Disney store hall of armor set.

I did a review of the AI Tony and everything you said about the figure, and getting a classic Cap, I said basically word for word in mine 😂

Wow. I did not know that the 80th Av Iron Man had that issue. I've played with and taken pictures of it. Now I can un know it. Damn it! Now I HAVE to fix it lol.

The only figure I have from this wave is the Iron Man because I missed out on the 80 Years version. But I may get the rest of the wave because of the BAF.

I'm only interested in the Iron Man with the holographic Tony Stark head. I'm a big Iron Man fan and the figure looks amazing. The Shang Chi figures don't look particularly interesting enough. I think I'm gonna pass on them.

@@favoritemustard3542 Ironheart seems cool, might pick it up. Hologram Man looks like an Iceman figure from X-Men rather than a holographic version of Mark 46. I don't think I'm going for it.

I heard why the change on the 10 rings to be on the arm. Cuz they dont want another Thanos gauntlet.

I only collect comic figures so wondering what heard to pop on those movie figures

One interesting thing about the 10 rings belt Wenwu is wearing is that the swords are the sword type he comes with rather than the swords on the 10 rings symbol on google

Since I got ahold of this entire wave I added them to my AI ninja shelf and it's a perfect blend. Only problem I have is the BaF, cool as it is, has one leg that just doesn't want to click on fully even after using hot water and a heat gun. It pops out on its own lol oh well I'm stoked I got this whole set now and gives more for Cletus the Brown Ninja to pose amongst lol Cheers
