Hasbro actually gave toe articulation & provided the Spider-Man required accessories ("thwipping", wall-crawling & fisted hands) to the recent Spider-Man related figures. I really hope they release an updated Superior Spider-Man (with the recent Spider-Man body molds, not the Sunfire or the "Pizza" Spidey molds), I've been dying to see that updated Superior Spider-Man. I also hope they release The Spot figure (the comic-designed one), I want to start building my MODOK's 11 group. As always, great review Manny!

FYI, if you want to swap the hoodie with the Mafex one, you don't necesarily have to cut the hoodie off. You could heat the figure up and pop his arms off and shimmy the plastic hoodie off.

Hey, Manny! I gotta tell ya: i did not commit to reading the clone saga. But i got ahold of a few of those comics, which i still have. And what i read i did really like. And when the Scarlet Spider was revealed to me personally, i loved the concept. Especially when it said that Scarlet Spider single handedly kicked Venom's ass the first time!! It really gets you wondering! Like i said, I didn't read the ending or continuation. But in my book, the true Peter Parker is the one it always was, i dont care what the clone saga said.

Another great in depth review! I Love the ML Scarlet Spidey and he really fun to play with but the Mafex version is still King here IMO. It fully captures that classic Clone Sage 90's vibe with the body proportions and design. I just feel the ML while it's is an excellent figure the body is just a little bit to bulky for my idea 90s Scartlet Spider.

I actually prefer Hasbro's muscle definition over MAFEX's. The body is reused but that doesn't stop it from looking good. If it had a up hood option, and an unmasked head it would be perfect. It may not have the same amount of accessories , but it checks all the boxes for me. I've never been a Scarlet Spider fan, but this figure looks cool.

I only pre ordered Jack O Lantern & Tombstone from this wave.. the only Spider Man figures i need are the Renew Your Vows version..& im gonna pick up the black suit version on the Renew Your Vows body when it INEVITABLY gets released .. hopefully sometime in 2024. Anyways keep up the great work brother Looking forward to more Marvel Legends review videos 👑

I don't mind the eyes on this figure thab the other Hasbro ones, But to me, Ben Reilly aka Scarlet Spider looks cool especially that head sculpt with again those very cool sculpted eyes, hoodie, and articulation, I only have the retro Sensational Spider-Man figure, But I might get him because I don't have any of the old Scarlet Soider figures

I consider Marvel Legends better, they charge 20$-30$ for this masterpiece while MAFEX charges about 100$-120$ for a masterpiece beyond masterpiece...

Actually sir, Mafex retails for about 40-60$ depending on release. They’re not higher priced because they’ve imported figures

Okay. Even for that price, it had a ton of QC issues. Left me extremely disappointed. And I don’t live in Japan so I have no choice but to pay $80+ for it here in the U.S.

I can dig that manny, I respect all your opinions on action figure & respective lines. As far as your standings in this case I think I say this because I am one of the lucky few who has never been “mafexed” by Mafex
