Make it a little bigger, and it would fit those two characters really well, plus this mold would work really well for other female marvel characters, like Valkyrie, and a better version of the Jane Foster Thor

It often surprises me which characters Hasbro chooses to put effort into. Power Princess is effectively a C-list character that was literally created to be a Wonder Woman pastiche - and here we are, best figure in the wave. This is all while iconic characters like Vision or Namor are (mostly) half-assed.

To be fair, this is also one of the few characters they can get away with such a blatant copy of something that DC and McFarlane own the rights to. Hasbro very rarely gets to do a character that looks just like one one of DC's most iconic characters. They get to cash in on the fandom of another property entirely.

I think you are the only youtube reviewer who doesn't mention Wonder Woman.

Well she is the marvel version of WW because the Squadron Supreme is the marvel version of The Justice League

This can make a really good wonder woman custom since midfarlame won't give us a good wonder woman

The head sculpt is one of the best I ever seen. Im totally in love, hands down. Great review as always, Anthony! :)

These days you can smell a winner and stinker from a Legends line as soon as they're announced. The 3 best figures are Crystar, Power Princess, and the Baf Void and you can tell right away they put the most effort into these figures. The rest of the lines feel like an afterthought and padding.

Makes me think of Spiral from last year. They can do go work when they want to. Ill actually buy a good figure instead of skipping it regardless of the character. And a positive review is a pleasant watch. I just wonder how many no paint 10 year old bodies we're gonna get because they need to balance the books.

Given PP’s resemblance to WW, this would make for a lovely custom! We may just do that; in fact, we’ll take 2-one to display on the shelf, and the other to customise. Thank you for sharing, Anthony!

I suppose its also an easy custom to make, just paint a star on the tiara, the torso red and the bracelets silver and done.

Marvel Legends just unintentionally made one of the best WW figures in recent memory lol

I buy about 5 MLs a year and this was certainly one of them from first sight!

So glad I got one before they sold out at GameStop.

I can NOT WAIT to nab this figure. I think it's the best in the wave. Crystar is the one I'm most excited for, as I had the 3 & 3/4" fig in the 80's. 😸

Been waiting for this review

Finally getting mine today. I pre-ordered it in January, but it got oversold, and I had to wait a month.

I'm only collecting Comic Avengers figures and the occasional Spider-Man figure so my favorite is Vision. I'm happy I can finally get a classic-ish comic book Vision for a reasonable price.

My favorite ML in a long time.

Shes is beautiful the head sculpt is perfection and I can't stop looking at her.

After watching this review, now I want to get this Power Princess action figure

This is an excellent figure, my favorite from the wave and i dont know anything about the character. I also got Crystar that looks very cool and Vision as I needed a classic version for my Avengers.

Would it be possible to make replacement neck ballpegs for figures like her and spider-man so that we get the range we're supposed to get?

No because the socket in the neck is the problem.

This figure and the rest of the Squadron Supreme releases we've had in the past year are all specifically based off the Jason Aaron and Ed McGuinness Avengers run (with some other artists sprinkled in the run but I believe was Ed character designer and most prominent artist). So her and the other 4 can all be directly compared to the art that comes on their packaging cause they use Ed's art. Of the 5 she wasn't the one I was most excited for... nor did I expect them to give her this much care, but I am certainly glad they did this exceptional. I am still incredibly sad about Dr. Spectrum though. And I still haven't been able to pick up the Nighthawk and Blur pack yet so I hope I don't get disappointed with that pack either but it didn't look good which is shame because Nighthawk is my favorite

Was looking forward to this review, thanks. This looks way better than the McFarlane classic Wonder Woman that just came out. The matte plastic finish looks great, face looks fantastic. I painted the shield, and it looks amazing now.

Are we not going to talk about the 'Elephant in the room', that this character/figure looks a lot like DC's Wonder Woman? Because I find it very ironic that Anthony finds this to be one of the Best Marvel Legends Figures, and it's based on a DC character.

I don’t know if this just happened to me but my copy of power princess after a while having the shield on her it indented the wrist

I'm not sure but I think GameStop may have Power Princess. If they do, then I will go to GameStop and order it. But just the other day I went there to see if I could spot her, and they didn't have her. They had Black Winter Thor instead. So I brought him. But whenever I go back to GameStop, I'm going to ask the employee there to see they have her at another store. See if I can order her. According to the gentleman on the video, sounded like he said the figure is 6 and 3 quarters. Almost 7". Not quite but almost.

i'm with you man, the execution should be across the board with all models but she's an exception. I don't know we don't have these issues in the Sofubi and vinyl collecting community so yea lawl.

Looks better then mcfarlanes Wonder Woman

Looks like we’ve already got a pretty strong contender for the Top 10 ‘best marvel legends 2024 video 😄. I love the design and unique sculptwork they gave her, and I’m not normally into Marvel legends. Marvel Legends are insanely expensive where I live though (Australia), so a little hard to justify the purchase, but this one definitely looks a lot better than what feels like 95% of Marvel Legends.

Solid review. I like the poses you showcase in at the end, brilliant. I’m always looking for new female characters to add to my collection. Sadly, most are utter, Tat. This one though, will be added.

Thanks for your efforts on this one Anthony. I hope the basement work continues unrestricted. I didn't pick up any figure from this wave as none were anticipated or on a wish list. The Hasbro ML team have finally designed a product worthy of its price point. With little to accessorize, they managed the unexpected and provided a decent product. Nostalgia was the driving factor in purchasing the Black Widow. I really wanted a "John Buscema" art style head portrait. Otherwise I find its redeeming qualities those of other manufacturers, so what's the big deal?

Wasn’t interested in the wave but this may be the first time I buy a marvel legends. See people can’t say you are only negative about marvel legends, you point out how when it’s good it’s just rarely good

I'm surprised you didnt get the Black Widow. It went on heavy discount almost a month or so after release, i saw it on shelves for a while before finally disappearing.

This is one of the best looking ML’s for sure.

Damn, the headsculpt and paint and hair looks fantastic... and her physique overall looks great too. I can forgive those elbow joints. You were dead on saying it's one of the best Legends (comic) in the last 5 years.

One thing I've been noticing with ML recently is their elbow joints. It almost feels like they don't cut away enough plastic on the top joint so it gets almost no range, meaning they can't get anywhere close to a full 90-degree bend when they should be able to. I don't know if that's cheapness or an aesthetic choice but it bugs me.

I think this or Crystar are the MVPs of the wave. Vision is good too, could use a little more time in the oven but essential to a classic Avengers display.

If you manage to find a collector's Wonder Woman, I'll be interested to see what you think of it, especially compared to this. With the two being revealed close to the same time, I was really disappointed with the WW in terms of face sculpt and paint. The SDCC WW render looked really good with sharp features, but McF couldn't seem to translate those to the physical product, unlike with this one, which is bad if your competitors are making a better WW than you are imo.

Target Exclusive IIRC, so us from other countries are screwed without paying for scalper prices.

The Vision, this is the best mold for him, even if the back is bend weird, he is an android, that works for him. The second probably is Crystar, still don't see him on my local comic shop. PP isn't bad, but Hasbro did this Squad really odd, even with a Bucky Cap mold member, big skip of that.

I will be impressed if there is anything I want from Legends this year ,so many cool characters leaked but I know the execution will let them down.

I was only interested in vision for this wave but this one is super tempting and I don't even care about power princess.

I'm not familiar with this character but for sure could be and amazing wonder woman custom. There aren't good comic wonder woman out there.

I LIKE TO SEE A G.I.JOE ,MCU CROSSOVER WITH THE CHARACTERS.

Yeah but realistically they rarely will give us good quality like this the rest passable in their point of view cause that’s how easy they see us all as consumers. We want more of this good in Marvel Legends and Studio Series. Hoping everyone supports the upcoming boycott protest against Hasbro once the upcoming X Men line drops. After people got their chance to get their Cyclops which I don’t get why everyone online so crazy to get? That’s when it’s gonna start in April or May. Depending on the success I may also start up on ash figuarts next given how they’ve been producing many recent figures :( Again hoping do all your supports it’s gonna take all of us to get Hasbro to fold and meet us on getting better quality. Or would many of you rather spend more money in upcoming years for same if not lower quality figures?

The best looking Marvel Legends fig in a long while. Not perfect, but so much better than their usual rubbish. Now if like Anthony said, they'd given her the Jada treatment. Shading on the skin and maybe highlights on the costume; add to that a full set of hands another head, soft diaper with a ball joint at the waist. Then she'd be nigh on perfect.

Might pick this one up. Pretty decent for a Hasbro figure. At this point I won't buy a Hasbro figure before watching your reviews. I just don't trust them but I do trust you. Best toy reviewer on KZread. Hasbro are just too inconsistent to buy their stuff on faith that it'll be good.

This has to be the best female body/face for a basic female figure out there. The best looking face out there. Love this figure.

Hey that's a nice Wonder woman.

The fact she looks better than the other companies take on a similar character, seems to speak volumes. Maybe she deserves a red, gold, yellow and blue treatment over the other.

I knew this one is very good when I saw it's proportion on your thumbnail. So obvious, but somehow those company just can't tell.

It's almost like another company made it. When it comes to figures with new sculpts there is no reason they should be engineered bad. Good to see this is worth the money.

Qs of the Day: The one I was looking forward to the most was Namorita, but that’s purely a character driven thing, and she’s not going to win any figure of the year awards. I don’t have Power Princess, because I have no interest in the character, but I would agree she’s the best in the wave. Pretty much my life as a Marvel Legends collector in a nutshell.

The Best Wonder Woman toy is a Marvel Legends!

This is the only figure I was remotely interested in. I really hope this serves as the base body (proportion wise) minus those horrible joints for a lot of characters going forward.

The only thing it's missing… A lasso

Except not pairs of hands and could been better if they made gi joe classified series ball joint at lower torso it be perfect new figure. Also sick you gotta heat her up o almost tore her knee joints trying to bend them.

Oh I have Widow and Power Princess. Actually, Power Princess is much better. It's the double crunch Torso Black Widow has that makes everyone go crazy over here without looking at anything else. Widow is a good figure. But not like Power Princess. No, the other one is Spiral....Again good face sculpt, and six double-jointed arms smoke screen a not-that-really painted body. When I got Power Princess...I felt like she was not a Marvel Legend. In the same day I got that Doctor Strange you got in 22, praised, and made your number one. I see why. So that was two legends actually good I got in one day. But anyway I do agree. Power Princess to me is better than Widow...All widows have is double ab crunches over her and three head sculpts that are nice. Enough to smokescreen a body with not a whole lot going on that is impressive. And by the way...the double ab crunches Widow has are still limited..and Chun Li of Jada with one still bends over more. Hey Anthony, are you getting the Jada MegaMan? Love to see you review that. Mine is on the way.

Yeah those elbow cuts in particular look awful, but I’m still looking forward to this figure.

This is a solid release for sure. I love the sculpted muscles on her body and it has a nice head sculpt. It’s very cool. Much better than that boring Black Widow figure, I can tell you that much.

McFarlane if his figures had articulation.

Another example of why Hasbro sucks so bad. This release shows that they can make really good figures and it puts 99% of their other stuff to shame.

The best affordable Wonder Woman is on Marvel Legends haha. I didn't like the new one from McFarlane.
