Ummm no shes not the 1st Captain Marvel he was Kree first appearance in 1967 predating Photon aka Spectrum by 16 years!

@shannonedge9386 See this is where reading comics comes in. The Captain you're referring to was Captain Mar-vell. I suggest you go read Amazing Spider-Man Annual #16 which came out in 1982. She was the FIRST female Captain Marvel BEFORE Carol Danvers. Carol Danvers was known as Ms. Marvel from 1968 to July of 2012 then she assumed the mantle of Captain Marvel.

Only problem with the figure. Perfect otherwise
1997! Captain Marvel was fighting Skrulls outside Blockbuster
Now this one looks good. Probably won’t fly off the shelves but its a good looking face sculpt without a doubt. The paint on the outfit is clean too.

I took some plastic out from the top of her knees so she can straighten them and that shoulder cut is great no need for a butterfly joint .

We’ve only gotten THREE figures of Monica in 6” form (or ever?? Not sure she got a 4” MU figure? ToyBiz never gave her any love!), and two of them are just now hitting with this wave and the Secret Wars Doom 2pk. A-Force being the other. It’s a crime, tbh. I’ve seen her at Target, but two stores had same four figures: Monica, Karnak, Carol, Marvel Boy, I have not seen Steve, Tony, or Kamala, yet. Only one of each?
