I've been watching a bunch of reviews for Jubilee and it only occurs to me after you mention it that she does indeed have a waist rotation, then I remember how that is absolutely not standard for female Marvel Legends.

Lmao the fact they gave 2 visors and glued on the visor for the one without bubble gum. Makes no sense

Hasbro has very good sculpts and very poor factory paint applications, you would be amazed how much detail is lost under their bland paint. The psylocke figure for example looks so much better when custom paint is applied to the lips eyes and brows. Another really crazy example is the unmasked 90's magneto head from the apocalypse wave.. that head is crazy awesome and detailed but again the uninspired factory paint job just ruins it. I feel all in all however that females are Hasbros weakest figures.. psylocke for instance is way too scrawny and the aforementioned paint apps drag her down even further, not to mention putting out assassins like her and Mystique with single jointed elbows.. shameful. Even though I adore the X-Men I have 0 excitement for Jubilee, almost all of the ones I have seen have derpy eyes and without any kind of good effect pieces I don't think she displays well beyond a "check list" type of character.

Best intro ever lol. I think the figure is OK but the flaws you mentioned are glaring(specifically the lollipop head). Good enough to own but it seems like the issues could have been easily fixed.

They glued the glasses on so the figures are shown with glasses in packagings. And they gave you 2 spare glasses because you would break one by taking them off the head. These are my guesses anyway : )

I can see some cusomizers using the gum head for a Carrie Kelly custom. Add a few freckles and some orange for the hair, most of the work is done for you. Nice, to the point review as always 👌🏼

Mine came with two... yes it’s odd. I would prefer the a non bubble gum head with no glasses that would be removable... Any chance you do a separate head mold for this like Gambit & Beast? Her face is kind of off to me not as good as the vampire black bodysuit Jubilee from the Toys R Us set. Glad I got this figure at my local Best Buy last Friday in NY, I don’t think these were supposed to be out yet tho.

I think the two glasses came from the original run, but I believe later releases only have one. I got mine pretty early so I got two.

it's interesting because the packages lists 3 accessories but there is only the one spot for the and both are keyed to fit in the normal position but can fit on here forehead. Seems like another Hasbro move with no real logic.

The left hand hinge makes sense for the movement yo do to take your glasses off or put your glasses on. I don't see myself doing that with the one in the right hand

While the packaging does say she comes with 3 accessories, both pairs of glasses fit either on her eyes or on her forehead. Neither fits on the top of her head. And both have tiny nubbins to peg into her hair in the normal position. There is nothing to indicate they are for different uses. The only difference is one is pinches from the packaging because they were in the same spot... which also typically doesn't happen. Accessories have their own spots in the packages. Everything we know indicates it's just an error. Sure it's possible they did it on purpose (anything is possible with Hasbro) but everything we know suggests otherwise. It seems likely to me this was just another Hasbro move because there is no logic involved. Lastly, I have been told by other that they only got the one pair of glasses from the later batches of figures.

I don't get why most of the reviewers don't mention all the issues you find, because you're absolutely right, and everyone seems to just be trying to ignore the elefant in the room.

the glue wasn't holding very much on the regular head I have, I was able to take the glasses right off

The only thing made sad about this figure is that it does not include energy effects (Dazzler's would have been perfect). And it's fun to me that none seems to get the purpose of the thirds pair of glasses. The one glued should move up and down, so you can put them on her forehead as she uses them in the series and comics. The tighter glasses I think should be for the same thing, but for the bubblegum head. Worth to shot! As a Jubes fan I can say glasses on the forehead is her most iconic look.

Both loose glasses can do the same thing and the glued ones can't move.

Saw this figure in store and was like oh cool! And upon looking closer her eyes were pointing in opposite directions... SMH. :/

It’s funny how the package doesn’t explain the second pair of glasses but the more pinched in ones will sit up above her eyes just below the hair. And that left wrist hinge annoys me also.

The issue with the back of the head was a deal breaker for me...went right back to wal mart for a refund. Not to mention not having blast effects for the hands...:/

Mine has 2 visors as well. Phoenix, Storm and Domino Marvel Legends has a new mutation and that is the ability of the Lollipop Syndrome. This Jubilee has joined the new mutation of female x men Marvel Legends. LOL 😂

raglyph Oh so true. Hasbro never perfected the Emma Frost Figure in her Classic white X Men uniform. They should have gone for that.

Great review. The Hasbro has the size of Jubilee all wrong in fact she should be shorter than Wolverine. She 5ft while Logan is 5ft 3in. Still planing to pick this figure up.👍

And collectors will still go out and pay $20 for this figure, even with that awful head and neck discrepancy. Hasbro pulls this crap (Dwight & Ryan -Marvel Legends product guys) I’m talking to you, because they know that people will still buy these figures.

8 out of 10 and the word stupid is used sooo many times, lol
