Great review. I'm actually going to use this Green Goblin as the Harry Osborn version in comparison to the retro version.

I really hope to see a retro hydro-man like the retro sandman and a retro chameleon too!

I hope that if X-Men 97 is successful we’ll get a Spider-Man 94 series. I need to know if they ever find MJ. That was the worst cliff hanger. I hate that it got cancelled.

It would be Spider-Man '98. That was the year the show ended, like 1997 was the year that the original X-Men: The Animated Series ended. But yeah, I'm really hoping that X-Men '97 might lead to a Spider-Man: TAS revival. We NEED to resolve that cliffhanger.

The Green Goblin was almost great, but I prefer the retro one for the scales and glider that fits on the stand. It's especially disappointing that the new glider's hole doesn't fit on the clear stand. We're probably only a few years away from a pinless Green Goblin, so I'll just wait for that. The Mary Jane is the clear highlight of the set. She's great.

VH1 was a phenomenally popular channel that used to feature songs from Jefferson starship, Gloria estapho, Celine deyon , Michael Bolton. It was the leader in R&B, soft rock, corporate rock. I didn't like it very much. I was into bands like slayer, merciful fate, corrosion of conformity, Motorhead, judas priest, ministry, Ozzy, butthole surfers, suicidal tendencies, Anthrax, les claypool, red hot chilli sauce. Another band that borrowed a lot of the urban licks from the chilli peppers but their lead vocalist was a sack of garlic powder 😛📐❓

This is a good set, and I definitely wanted a Chameleon Peter Parker (in the polo shirt and jeans, sneakers). Hopefully they release that. Good set, and more to come.

Hopefully, they will continue and give us a redo on animated spidey, a second peter parker in the polo, morbius, punisher, kingpin, and wheelchair smythe. Oh yeah, and of course, animated JJ.

The best figure in this line so far is easily Dr. Octopus, with Mary Jane second. If we were to have one more two-pack, I'd want Chameleon and Mysterio (the retro card one did not get the colors right). At some point, I hope we also can get a new mold for Scorpion since the one we got was really meant to be original comic appearance Scorpion, and the repaint doesn't quite work.

The stand fits… you have to heat up the glider first… it actually works better cause its a tighter fit

Vulture and Chameleon would be the ones id want the most esp that chameleon!

That retro Green goblin was about $100 on ebay not too long ago. I'd actually love to grab this while its available, i have the rest of the vhs series and love it.

Felt like a bad infomercial. The glider does go on the ball peg stand, just need to heat it up first. It was the same like all the rest. The goblin with the scales is the better one (retro card). The new goblin is that flimsy plastic in the elbows and thigh swivel. The ideal is the new head on the retro body. The set is a glorified accessory pack. The MJ is fine. They should make a Robbie and Tombstone 2pk

I don't wanna come off as a turbo nerd but you actually can use that tri-pod stand for the glider, just use a little heat, that socket is tight but I guess that's for security. Also if you have one of the Fortnite glider stands that actually works too if you want more height. I'll be honest I was a little let down by this two pack, the gumminess on the Goblin, the lack of hands and pinless tech, MJ being whatever (I immediately put her head on custom body), the only thing that saves this for me are the head sculpts, MJ and GG look great and that Norman head looks way better in person. They could have done so much better but it's nice to have a new Green Goblin on the market when the previous two command prices higher than the two pack itself so it was always gonna be a worthy purchase for that alone. As for future two pack ideas? Since they like to put a villain and civilian, Chameleon and Felicia Hardy?

Gumminess in the joints has been a huge problem for me lately, with Legends, it seems to be getting worse! They've been giving us some crappy figures lately, the new Black Knight is a straight up piece of junk, the Sky Cycle Hawkeye is garbage too, in my opinion. He's half gummy/half stuck. I almost ripped one of his boot pegs off, just trying to bend his knees, the soft goods piece connected in the waist swivel causes major gappage there, and I don't know, he just feels super "janky" is the best way to put it. Like he's gonna break or fall apart by just moving him around! Puff Adder & Drax's ankle joints are so loose, that they can barely hold up the figure's weight! Drax, not as bad as Puff, if i blow on Puff his ankles give way, it's a joke! I've just been getting very frustrated with Legends, as of late!

@@FiendishFrank Yeah I was a little underwhelmed with Hawkeye too. And the more I thought about it the more I felt he is not worth his price tag, that retro card Iron Man from last year with the proton cannon came with so much more (new stuff at that) at a lower price.

@@scottroxford5715 very good point, I forgot about that Iron Man set! It was just at the point where I needed a classic Hawkeye in my collection, I didn't really need a Sky Cycle. I'm happy to have one, for sure! But if the option was just the Hawkeye with a regular price tag, I would have chosen that over him with the cycle. They forced me to spend over 50 bucks, just to get a figure. Classic characters, in their classic costumes, should NEVER be exclusives or anything like that. The last 2 Target exclusives were classic Ant-Man and classic Black Widow (which is one of the best Legends ever imo) which is ridiculous. Why is it that classic characters in classic costumes like Widow, Ant-Man, Cap, etc are usually exclusives of some kind? I don't know, I just feel that classic characters in their classic looks should like always be available to order on Pulse or something. Those characters are always the hardest to get, and they should be readily available!

@@FiendishFrank I agree to a point, those characters have had plenty of figures made of them already and while not everyone gets into the hobby at the same time, there are USUALLY plenty of opportunities to get said characters, we got two Captain Americas this year and two new Iron Man figures in waves, not to mention it's pretty easy to get Iron Man figures, we got Hulk last year which is still available, we've had plenty of Black Widows, Hawkeye is the odd man out since his previous figures fetch hefty prices so this new one is kind of necessary, and we've had a couple Thors as well. And any other Avengers alumni are pretty easy to get

I got this pack yesterday, and I really really loved it! I didn't have a Green Goblin in my collection so... It was like perfect for me. I loved the fact that they painted the Green Goblin exactly as his appears in the show. And MJ is beautiful ❤ a solid 2 pack. Can't wait for Peter's.

If they continue the line, I'd like them to do Chameleon (though I'd like a new comic version more) Felicia Hardy, Man Spider, the spot, and finally my big wishlist is the lizard with more cartoon accurate head.

6:09 Goblin's Bucky-Cap shoulders are backward. Same parts used on Orb, but Orb's were on the other sides and the old figures using the Bucky-Cap mold had them on this way. This isn't QC though. I don't like that they changed their positions because now the shape of the shoulders are messed up; the flat side is the front and the rounder side is the back. Also, Goblin had a rounded buckle and his neck should be green.

I don't really want this set, I just want that glider that comes with Green Goblin. I only have the retro series Hobgoblin, and I really don't like his glider, just because he doesn't fit on it well, I'd like that 2-pack glider to swap out for Hobgoblin's, might not technically be accurate, but its purple and has the different face in front and the port for the stand.

That Norman Osborne head could of been so much better. Would of been great to have a crazy grinning face showing teeth or him laughing manically with an open mouth. Something to really give us a different expression from the last one other then a tiny smile. And christ man still getting bucky cap legs in 2023. Like hasbro. Come on.

MJ is thr best of the set, this Goblin will be the best one if he will be pinless, missed chance by Hasbro, again.

I'm hoping we get Hydro Man later. That guy needs a serious rework from his older figure. Give us interchangeable normal arms and water arms along with splash blast effects. Hydro Man I actually thought was cooler in the show than comics. Making him a jealous, psycho stalker ex boyfriend was a genius move and gave the character a much better motive and personality than his comic counterpart, who was a two bit thug

The Legends flight stand was upside down btw it works just fine with the Demo Goblin one

As much as I think and want this head sculpt to be Norman, if you watch the episode "Return of the Green Goblin," when Harry took over as the Goblin, this head matches his look EXACTLY. So it's making me wonder if that head is really meant to be Harry!

when it comes to these VHS I would love to see a madame web and beyounder 2 pack, eddie brock and cloth goods lizard, the Chameleon and Nick Fury with lots of heads they both can use could be a army builder in the Spiderman TAS line! Blade and Morbius, and The Spot and Hobie Brown! yes it's TAS verison of them but it can do a meta thing because of spiderverse so why not?

8:37 I found something very interesting. Dan Mitchell, the artist who digitally sculpted the new heads, says this is supposed to be Harry Osborn.

If your interested in checking it out, the artist's ArtStation page is deathmetaldan. Maybe you can use this info in your future review of the Cabal 3-Pack when going over the Norman head.
