Great review! Awesome fig! Dormammu was always one of my favorite villains! Back in the 80s, Doctor Strange was a bimonthly book. When a new issue came out, I had a ritual of visiting this pizza joint after stopping for comics. I would openly read Doctor Strange there while I supped on Hawaiian pizza. These three hot waitresses would make sport of me though. My reply to them was always the same, "Show some respect. It's Doctor Strange. He's going to save the world from Dormammu." But that only brought me more taunts. Eventually, I ended up dating one of them. Her name was Helen and she turned out to be psycho coke-head. The All Seeing Eye of Agamotto didn't see that one coming, by the hoary hosts of Hoggoth!

Has anyone else been watching Shartimus' Legends reviews thinking "I wonder what Glenn would have thought of this figure also"? I can't be the only one.

I wish they used this design in the movie and not the floating head boss battle thing that we got

Atomic Skull maybe is the DC character your thinking of with the green skull. It would be cool to see what the skulls look like on Cosmic Ghost Rider.

Nice review, man. I really liked the A.C.B.A. at the end. Keep it up!

I like the BAF Dormammu a bit more than the SDCC one, though the latter's purple flame skulls are way cooler. This may just be the one BAF line I actually complete, if only to get Dormammu, who I really like. He fits in among my group of favorite Marvel/DC characters all around.

Faraz Legends no he said in the video the skulls look like a dc character so please watch the video before commenting.Also I don't know when dc will start making good movies because so far they've mostly sucked and are not like the comics.

This is the first BAF series Ive completed. I love Dr. Strange so much. Movie was fine but that Dormammu scene was a little underwhelming tbh. Hope they execute a better confrontation in the sequel.

is it normal for the hip joints on the waist to be different? nearly had a heart attack when I saw they were different and thought I would have to exchange my figure.

I like this paint job a bit more, honestly. Especially the red part which looks more cleaner compared to the SDC one which the black wash makes it.....rather sloppy then detailed.

i like the newer dormammu, it looks more like it came out of mvc3

I like the retail version better but I REAAALLLY like the translucent hands on the sdcc one. It's such a small detail that makes the figure look cooler

The BAF dormammu is the better one but SDCC has the better head's

the body looks great i think its a great body for the upcoming colossus but i wish they would have done john ramita custome or the marvel select custome ver.

I fucking love this BAF!! I would def do a head and arm swap with the sdcc one. you went in on this review with the comparisons, love it. Glad Hasbro decided to bless us with a retail release of him. I would be ok if they made that a regular occurrence. this way poor people like me don't have to unload alot of cash for these guys we need.

Wasn't one of those markings on Dormammu's skirt on Kaecilius's head in the Dr Strange movie? I'm sure one of them was.

I have the complete Doctor Strange series. I really like Dormammu BAF as well. but I agree with you, Shartimus, the color of the SDCC is a bit better.

I actually like this wave way more than I thought I would. I complained about it in the forums but all of the repaints actually improved the figures and allowed them to make 4 really nice unique looking figures with Dr. Strange, Astral, Mordo and Nico. Even though Mordo is boring its still has alot more detail and paint than we are used to with Hasbro.

@@BlackfeatherLegion hasbro could easily sell these bafs for like 30 35$ which i think is fair most people on ebay will try to get 50 60 and up which is way overpriced for what it is. I hope hasbro will do a baf line one day because it's really expensive to get some of these cool characters.
