Aw damn, I didn't even realize that considering I don't have my Secret Wars Doom figure anymore. Between the back panel lines not being painted, the PROFOUNDLY cheap marbalized non-painted green and silver plastic, to the gummy non glued down leg ring that you mentioned isn't molded in the right colour (cause it certainly wouldn't be painted), it's a very bitter-sweet figure. It's unfortunately about as good as you can expect when it comes to hasbro. Even the absolute best figures are still gonna be a 'should be $10-15 gummy bendy plastic figure that doesn't articulate well due to the chewing gum material used, so good luck keeping them standing up' figure that's $30.

How did you get it

The way the cuffs on Capt Marvel's boots are skewed I think she must have boot swivel. It could just be stuck. Maybe some hot water to loosed them up.

13:34 It's just pretty damn big. I mean I know the hair makes it look larger, and the forehead doesn't help. So minus the _'a bit too big to look perfect on a 6" figure'_ thing, I do think the sculpting looks excellent for hasbro. The subtle yet super intense aggravation in their face is awesomely done. ...but I could've swore Doom has a tiny scar, which is why he wears the mask. So yeah, I was lookin' all around for that little scar lol.

Classically, Doom had an experiment literally blow up in his face, causing a sizeable burn down his face. Then, he had his freshly forged mask seared to his face to hide his shame. Jack Kirby did a sketch and liked the idea that Vic only had a small scratch and was so vain it drove him (more) mad, but it didn't become part of the books. Of course, these days you can multiverse anything into being so who knows now? 😅

Great review! This is the Dr. Doom from the original Secret Wars series. He has nothing to do with the Iron Man Dr Doom or whatever that was a few years ago.

The leg piece held a blaster, it was green plastic, a separate piece.

This video shocked the shit outta me towards the end my jaw dropped.

try and heat the heels up with water for a few seconds see if that works

😆 🤣 😂 when you pulled the Doom head off and shit yourself! Few years passed between releases and you just discovered a way one was designed 😂

I do definitely like the unmasked Victor Von Doom head sculpt because it looks great especially Monica Rambou Captain Marvel because she was desperately needed in her classic 80s look and while I always wanted a Doctor Doom figure I would get either God Doom or the retro Doom figure but Awesome review though.

Just picked mine up...for $24.99 at Target.

A cabeça com pescoço saiu, rsrs....isso é normal, já aconteceu comigo, tomei um susto ! mas notei que sai com facilidade. adorei a headsculpt e a mask. pegarei se for barato, dá pra fazer um homem de ferro. the head with the neck came off, hehehe....that's normal, it's happened to me, I was scared! but I noticed that it comes off easily. I loved the headsculpt and the mask. I'll take it if it's cheap, you can make an iron man.

I have those same ankle problems with the no way home spiderman 3 pack 😢

The heels are a necessity I'm afraid, it's bad enough 80s rogue was in flats when in that costume she was always wearing heels. I'm more annoyed that she doesn't have boot cuff rotation

Nice look at these! Does the regular Secret Wars Doctor Doom head sculpt also fit on the older Dr Doom figure?? I would like to know, because the new Secret Wars Doom head looks BETTER than the older, classic look sculpt, IMO. Just wondering if that could fit on an 80th Anniversary Doom figure too?

Looks like the neck is same figure to figure so I would think that the heads are interchangeable

good figure ruined by shitty feet not being able to simply stand. I recently got the black knight and sersi 2 pack and sersi's legs are shit. knowing i'll have another headache if I buy this 2 pack and trying to get monica to stand.....no thanks. damn shame
