जब मैंने दोनो cars को long drive चलाया, तो पता चला कि कई जगह wagon R , swift से बेहतर है। बल्कि in-out में पापा मम्मी के साथ बेहतरीन है। wagon R the best है। मम्मी को तो इसमें काफ़ी comfort मिला, जबकि swift में मम्मी के पैर कम दूरी में ही दुखने लगे थे, तब यह अहसास हुआ कि looks से ज्यादा comfort होना ज्यादा अच्छा है। thanks wagon R, मैने कभी तुमसे नफऱत की थी, पर मम्मी को तुमने जो comfort दिया। तुमने finally दिल जीत लिया।

dear Sir, i respect and concur with most of the points, mentioned by you. you are THE MOST RESPECTED auto gurus in my personal opinion. But i beg to differ with you regarding the cost aspect. and selling more aspect. the reason being the following, since i have owned the wagon r 1st gen vxi, 2001, as well as 2005 original swift vdi, and continue to do so. both have crossed 2,00,00 km. : 1. value for money. wagon r is better, in terms of space, multipurpose use to carry personal as well as small office or business purpose. the swift cant be used since the loading bay hinders the entry of big , voluminous items. 2. entry and egress of elders is one of the most deciding factor in choosing a vehicle, i am sure you will agree. here the back and front seats of wagon r wins hands down. period. 3. space between front and back seat of wagon r is much better than swift. even though actual space might seem same. but its the way one seats down in a swift, which makes the space seem and feel less. 4. ride comfort in wag r , back seat is light years ahead in wagon r. (ask any body who rides in front seat and then ask them to sit in same back seat of swift.). swift back seat jumps like a gypsy back seat, due to its sports ride configuration,. actually swift was made for single or 2 seater only, with back seat for rare occupants. if its the only vehicle, it has to be wagorn r for back seat whole family comfort. i hope you will agree. 5. swift is mostly the second car or for young gen, who has only 1 kid with very very rare , occasion, parents or friends in back seat. due to lack of time, i cannot write more. but i hope you get my gist. regards. all the best wishes. god bless you sir.

Sir I have a WagonR Lx Pro CNG and using it for last 7 years. It's an amazing car with low maintenance cost and very economical on fuel budget. I stay in Mumbai where fuel prices are high. Even today I can't think of changing my car to any other car including swift. ( Even Suzuki doesn't Promote CNG in swift) As a modern well informed customer I bought WagonR Lxi Pro with CNG 7 years back. As of today Feb 2021, I don't see any Other car that meets my after sale Operational cost as WagonR even swift can't do that. If people like me have to buy a car again , or let's say I have to change my car , I will end up buying WagonR again because 2019 model has much more to offer ( more space, better week base , more space , more features ) Plz share your feedback what I have said is right or wrong. So as a well informed customer , I am still inclined to buy WagonR again as it ticks all the boxes. Unless I have inner craving to move towards more premium, I have no reason to choose Swift. Thanks & Appreciate

Maine abhi new wogon R liya hai uska main reason hai.Ak to swift se 1lakh sasti hai 2. Same engine hai. 3. Resell value bhi achhi hai or jo mujhe chahiye lagbhag sab kuchh hai wegon R me Safety. Ye sab mujhe agar 6 lac me mil jata hai to uske liye 7 lac kharch karna mere husab se fijul kharchi hoti hai.

Mr I have gone for swift, swift faire and Baleno but ultimately purchased Wagon R ZXI 1.2 over the above cars because it is for a elder person to go in and out, comfortable sitting driving powerful engine and above all the boot and luggage space. Only sporty and interior looks don't make a car superior

Exactly. I am thinking to buy, WagonR, above Brezza, for the same reasons. Swift has a clustrophobic back seat area, lesser milage, lower seating position, and lesser ingress egress comfort. We decide based on these features, not because we see more WagonRs.

Wagonar is much better then swift in space, mileage and ground clearance also

We have both wagon R and swift in our family and both were purchased before 10 years with a gap of 6 months...both have completed 1.5 Lac Kms and giving good service but it is established that swift is definitely a good product in terms of ride and handling and sitting comfort.

I am using Wagon R for the last 10 years, very happy with this car. There are many other reasons people buy this car. Maintenance cost of WagonR is much less than Swift. You can carry much more Luggage in WagonR. Sitting position of WagonR is better than Swift. It is easier to drive and judge due to boxy shape. No other car in India can beat WagonR for city purpose. I have also booked a new automatic Vxi WagonR. Guruji use this car for 10 days you will also fall in love with this car.

Pros of WagonR: 1. Easy to drive 2. Easy to park in tight spaces 3. Moving in and out of car is very easy and comfortable 4. Can carry much more Luggage 5. Feels like a big car from inside 6. Cheap on maintenance 7. Better resale value

minus point of wagon r is that it is shaky when the speed is more than 60 km per hour and in case of swift you can drive more than 80 km per hour

Baleno interior is now outdated. SWIFT IS NEW AND WVEN HAS BETTER QUALITY THAN BALENO. WE HAVE BOTH SWIFT AND BALENO IN OUR FAMILY. BALENO WAS DELIVERED IN 1 DEC 2020 AND SWIFT WAS DELIVERED IN 2ND JAN 2021

Wagon R gives commanding view comfortable riding posture and most practical usable car. Only issue i gather so far is some cabin noise. Do swift has cabin noise too?

एक खास वजह जो मुझे लगता है वह है wagon r के 1 लीटर पेट्रोल इंजिन का mileg जो कि swift मे यह इंजिन आता हि नही है इसलिये पेट्रोल मे wagon r से कम mileg देती है 🙂

Normally first time owner from middle class goes for Wagnar because of its popularity and price. He just want the Car and don't know much about the cars. But second time he may think about many options.

WagonR Jada comfortable he swift se

Drive wagonr with your family. You will come to know uncle. Wagonr is far superior space wise ,boot size and shape compared to swift. Wagonr is best city car for its narrow width so it's versatility increases compared to swift ,also the turning radius. If you want sportier go for something else . Wagonr is the best city car ,not recommended for highways because of its high CG. Trust me I have used luxury German cars ,their forte is different. Give me car that would beat the practicality of wagonr in such low pricing . Compare it with any brands any models . Swift is cramped with all black interiors which are cheaper to manufacture also the suspension on wagonr is much superior for city speeds .and it's ability to cut through traffic. The only good thing swift had was k series engine, now wagonr also has it. Neither of the cars are good looking . Wagonr is the best city car . I'm waiting for a debate if anyone wants .

Namaste, Maine Nov. 2018 me Swift Zxi+ AMT liya hoon. Abhi tak 2 service hi hui hai, 3rd service next month mein hai. Near about 7000km chal chuka hai. Long drive mein 15kmpl & town per 13-14 kmpl hai with AC. Mileage kis tarah se jyada mil sakta hai? Company kahti hai 21.21kmpl !!! How kaise???

Wagon R is good. Swift also good. But Wagon R is compact and fuel efficient.

Me confuse hun. Konsi car lu swift ys wagon r.. kou muje suggest kre.

Wagon r सस्ती है swift से.. Wagon r swift से ज्यादा mileage देती है. Wagon r मे पीछे 3 लोग आसानी से बेठ सकते है Wagon r मे ज्यादा boot space है. भारत मे ज्यादा speed मे दोनों cars को आप नहीं चला सकते क्युकी highway पर भी कुएँ जैसे गड्डे होते है 80 की speed तक दोनों car एक जैसा performance देती है l मुझे wagon r vxi onroad 5.75 मे पड़ी with loan interest (20000rs) swift lxi 6.0 lakh मे without loan और accessory कम से कम 25000rs की तो लगवाना ही पडती.. तो वो 6.4 तक पडती means 65000 rs की saving है

Only maruti , No swift only wagon R for 1. Entry , exit easy , 90° opening of doors . 2 . The windows are huge airy , well lit interiors . 3 . Normally I have a habit of resting my arm on the window lip . In swift as the window is curved upwards and low seats I cannot do it . Hence a wagon R . 2. The 1.2 litre engine is so nice to drive in a wagon R but it feels a bit strained in swift more so in swift desire , you have to change the gears more specially with 5bpeople and a bit of luggage . Hence Wagon R .

Sir mera budget 5.5 lakh hai only main kon si car Lu swift LXI ya phir wagon r vxi 1.2 plz suggest kare . Sir main wagon r esliye choose kr Raha hu mujhe Esme boot space jyada mil Raha hai or power windows or bahut khuch pr agar sir main swift Ka base model Lu to khuch bhi nhi milta . ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਇੰਡਸਟਰੀਲਿਸਟ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਕੰਪਨੀਆ ਦੀਆਂ ਮਹਿੰਗੀਆਂ ਕਾਰਾਂ ਖਰੀਦਦੇ ਹਨ। ਪਰ ਉਹ ਆਲਟੋ ਜ਼ਰੂਰ ਖਰੀਦਦੇ ਸਨ। ਪਰ ਅਜੋਕੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਉਹ ਆਲਟੋ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਵੈਗਨਾਰ ਜ਼ਰੂਰ ਖਰੀਦਣ ਲੱਗੇ ਹਨ। ਪਰ ਸਵਿਫਟ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਇੰਡਸਟਰੀਲਿਸਟ ਕੋਲ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਉਂਦੀ।
