This is legendary car...I still drive my Swift Vxi 2010...still going strong...wonderful driving exp

I still remember back when i was in 2nd grade in 2008. I used to stare at any swift parked around like it was some rare hyper car. That was the level of influence it had on me. Fun fact : this gen model came with a rally based suspension system. And hence better handling

I remember driving this car in Driving school.. this car has unbelievable refinement and used to feel safe and was giving so much confidence to push a bit more .(which is very rare in Suzuki cars) .. Such an OG car ..

My Uncle Had a Golden Swift VXI Petrol 1.3 , Damn When we used to stop at a signal it used to be so silent , and when the light went green it used to wheelspin a bit with a light foot on the accelerator pedal , The Car and the engine was a gem even the driving dynamics.

I own 2009 LXI variant , I am so glad that we still have it , It is almost 13 years old but still runs like a charm. Thank you Faisal for reviewing it

I learned driving in a swift Diesel at our local driving school and it was very responsive and fun . The handling -sharp Suspension- stiff . Result was that it was a pure joy of driving at budget.

One of the Best Cars in the Market. It's aptly suitable for a project car and the Grunty G13B motor. However, DDiS continues to be my another favourite powertrain 🔥

I mostly seen this gem on the highways , it's performance is on next level for that generation cars ❤️

My family still has the 2010 first gen Vxi ABS version in the Sunlight Copper color....and what a phenomenal car it is... still pulls like it used to when it was brand new 🔥

We have a 2010 VXi and it's handling and performance is just phenomenal❤

Build quality is also good in comparison to today's Swift

My dad bought a LDi back in 2008 when i was just a kid dreaming of driving it someday. I drive it now and what a beast it is. Moreover the memories from past 15 years are so wonderful. ❤

My uncle had one of these. And what a status symbol it was when there were only 2 or 3 in entire area. Thank you for reviewing this OG.❤❤

I remember the first generation swift which i saw was a black color in the showroom in 2006 when I booked my maruti 800... and also the pink zen Estilo which was launched during that time. Nostalgic...

I was wondering yesterday that i couldnt find a swift 1st gen vedio in faisal’s feed, and he post one today, miracle🥳

My father had the Vxi 2008 it was an amazing car.. it was his first car and we sold it in 2020.. we had a lot of feelings with that car.. it was amazing

The engine sound reminds me of the G16B from the Baleno (the OG sedan), as they had the same head, and most components are quite similar. It was a long stroke version of this G13B engine Also, I've driven the multi jet diesel one, it absolutely pulls like a rocket ship in the mid range🔥

been there, had a ride in every Maruti car with every single engine suzuki gave! The DDiS and G13/16B are unbeatable in reliability and performance, especially Maruti cars of that era bro🤌🔥

I still remember first time seeing swift. I just fell in love with it on the spot. It was mind boggling at that time

Thank god finally! I had a 2006 1.3 Litre. The most powerful Hatchback of its time. It was a Love or Hate design. It retailed for 4.24lakhs Ex showroom for LXI.

That’s my car right there! With some interior decor done and a good infotainment system and proper engine and clutch maintainance it still stands toe to toe with today’s cars.

This one is legend ✨ got 2012 swift VXI diesel model, it's equipped with JBL speaker and a subwoofer,lot of vibe and memories driving 🚘 with this car

Hello Faisal Bhai... Nice vlog... I am also a proud owner of the Swift 1 Generation. Mine is zxi version 2006 Done ODI 128000KM... ($TILL MILES TO GO) I LOVE the ways it's shows its presence on the road confident, reliable. Fun to drive it's really my first love and will be for ever. Done it's R.R recently, it's still a head turner for Many... And me too....

i own the first gen Swift VDI damn the diesel engine till date is soooo peppy and also stability at highways is really great and it has clocked 1,80,000 kms on ODO and still returns 17 kmpl in city and 19 kmpl in highway! only let down is definitely the build i've had enough scenarios to say this! otherwise its the OG for sure!!! 😎👍

I have this car right now in my family. I have spent whole childhood travelling in this car. i HAVE THE 2007 VXI MODEL. Only some rattle noses, its been more than 15 years now. I learned driving on this beast. Maruti suzuki was on another level with this car. I even had a accident with this car at 45-50 kmph, everyone in the car was safe and on the other side new generation muzuki wagnor completed crashed. The OG SWIFT was awesome😍😍😍😍

I wish this generation of Swift had been sold in the US, especially the Sport model that Europe had. Such a great small car.

I miss My first Generation Swift. What A Carr. Swift was really Very Fast & Quick.

We had this car before and this car is love for ever

i had a vxi and i ran it for 120k. the car was amazing to drive especially between 90 kmph and 120 kmph.

In short word, old cars were real deal and had a mechanical feel

bro fr. negligible electronics and more connection with the machine. ignoring the safety aspect, I will go for a toyota or a maruti because they provide lesser or no features as compared to another manufacturers and that's what keeps us close to the machine

2010 Swift 1st gen and it had ran only 50,000kms in these past 10-12 years. Last year in 2022 on a empty highway I cranked it to 160-165kms it still flies like a rocket. Best thing in this is suspension. I bet there were no equivalent car 10 years before competing this masterpiece in suspension.

I too own a swift vdi 2009 model that's ridden just 36k and we are the first owner.. It is still very Smooth and still touches 135kmph easily.. Edit - it still gives 24kmpl and no repairs as such

The OG swift is awesome, I really loved this car. I don't get the same feeling with the new ones, I don't know why.
