Maru has great technique - he enters carefully at the back end and knows just when and how to shift his weight. I live how his tail waves about in anticipation as he sits down.

Excellent technique he is the master tomcat at sledding and so cute too. He leans forward and places his butt low so he gains momentum. When the sled gets away he immediately runs after and sits in it. He is having fun and needs a longer ride. Very careful climbing down the ladder. Master Maru the sledding champion !!!❤

Lookit Maru’s tail wag, he loves sledding! For such a liquid cat, Maru sure loves snow. Hana greeting the snowman and Miri saying hello to the birds is cute.

Yes: Hana is clearly not crazy about cold under her feet. I'm amazed that there is a deciduous tree in leaf in the middle of what is clearly a wintry landscape.

Mummy Mugumogu has made a nice *gentle* slope for Darling Maru to enjoy sledding. ❤🛷 🐈 ❤ And our Prince does indeed enjoy the ride.🎉 Maru is a truly brave kitty, unafraid of natural elements. Rain, sun or snow, he's out there enjoying the day. Wonder those delectable meatbuns don't feel cold when he's walking on the snow. Hana was cute, greeting the snowman. ❤🐈❤ But, the true beauty is our snow white Miri, sitting on a snowy blanket in her safe haven indoors, chattering her heart out with her 🐦🐦 birdie friends!❤🐈❤

They key is that he wants to go sledding. Maru gets on the sled and knows he has to put his weight forward to make it go. In an older video he sleds a longer distance, but I cannot believe there are many cats who would do this even once.

@@cmoore7821 he is 17yo this year. He has slowed down a little bit, but given his age, that's understandable. He has never lost his enthusiasm or sense of adventure. I just wish I knew what goes on in that noggin sometimes lol.
