You can't compare a multiple world champion like Marc with Jorge Martin, but Martinator had a perfect weekend and nobody's talking about that. He deserves to be world champion this 2024.

You can and right now, Jorge Martin is, most probably, the best rider. He seems better than anybody else. I would definitely say he was the best of the lot if I liked him... Same kind of statements for Jorge Prado in MXGP. :(

There is something great about MotoGP, at least for me, that is competition and great racing is more important than partisanship. So, inasmuch as I very much like Bagnaia, I feel Martin has proved to be such an amazing force of nature, I hope he wins the championship this year, in merit, for he has more than proved how good a rider he is.

Lots of talk about Marquez post race, not enough credit was given to how Martin kept his head cool and attacked at the right moment to stay ahead.

Marc was by far the fastest of the week end. On the Sprint he was in the top 3 in 2 laps. No one else can do that. ​@stopchangingmynameyoutube

He is fast, he is young. He is equal or better than others in terms of speed. He deserves the factory ride. And bet he will not disappoint. What he is doing to get that ride with that much pressure is commendable. Others are in such a comfortable position..

He should enjoy this year. This is Marc's warm up year on GP23,last years bike. Next year Marc will get GP25 and destroy this clown

Martin to win the crown for 2024 provided he does not let Marquez get close to him in the points. Marquez going from 12th to second on a 2023 bike twice shows he still has the goods. A shootout between the two in the last race to win the WC would have Marc winning.

MotoGP is the best product in racing. PERIOD.

If he can stay composed it’s his year. But everyone is happy seeing MM back competing. His riding style just makes for late highlights in a race. Great year so far. Great for the fans and the sport

Martin and Pecco at least have a relationship of sorts, but with Marquez Ducati is asking for trouble, he will rather both fall than lose a position. Marquez reminds me of Schumacher with Hill and Villeneuve when he crashed deliberately into both to, in Hill's case, win the championship. Having said this, I'm struggling to understand why would Martin leave a winning, familiar, set-up to go where they are "not sure" if they want him.

If he keeps it consistent, let there be a new World Champion!

💯 disagree, the pressure and stress that JM faced at the last 5 laps shows that weakness of fighting. If MM has 3 more laps, I think JM will crash. I think MM will get the title before the 2 or 3 GPs.

I swear MotoGP fans have short term memory, did you all forget how insane last years battle for the championship was? Jorge fought tooth and nail for that championship and already proved Ducati wrong on their choice after 2022. Patient Jorge is a new MotoGP legend. He was calm, calculated and even got Pecco making mistakes trying to keep up. Jorge biggest challenge last year and 2022 was waiting for the right moments to make his move, conserving the tyre and losing composure in the tight battles. Sometimes you could see Pecco just had that edge of keeping pace and opening the gap, Rossi's prodigy. But Jorge keeps getting faster and faster while people are so focused on Marquez. Jorge's biggest comeback was losing that factory seat to Enea then winning back to back races. Even when Enea was at full strength. martin just had more time on the bike. And that Ducati seat is his.

Add Beast too. he is also the same points as Marc. But he is only up there because marc has made few mistakes and crashed in the past races.

It's 93's year ...

The performance are so differente between Ducati and other brand, only Aprilia began to be competitive ! So every good rider with a Ducati has a better chance of winning than a team from another brand ! MM93 with Honda had no chance the past years and now, he's fighting for the podium ! JZ5 had good result last year and now with Honda LCR, it's a complet different story ! To have a better competition, they should had some limit to the efficience of TCS to reduce the power gap between every bike !

Martin has never been as good when he was a number 2 rider or even equal rider in a team. Historically he's needed to be the number 1 rider to perform at his best. And he's got zero chance of being number 1 in the factory Ducati team, even if he wins this years championship. His best option is to stay with his current team / crew ... but the obvious curveball is Pramac going to Yamaha. In that scenario, he needs to choose between staying and being number 1 on a full factory spec Yamaha in the same team, going to any factory team as a number 2 or equal rider, or moving across to one of the other Ducati teams as an equal rider.

I'm not an Acosta fan but you should respect him for what he archived, two titles I'm a row in two different categories and he's 19 years old , respect...you don't know if is going to achieve more than Marc yet , because he just started, I also respect Marc he's undoubtedly a 8 champion and a talent , but don't 💩 on other riders like Acosta and pecco etc , they earned their respect ... Martin did a great race but was hardly the fastest rider. Marc catch them on both races starting from 13th with the 2023 bike. He will not have that advantage over Marc in all races.
