Martin shaw was who inspired me to become vegetarian,& I haven't ate meat in 40 years now ! His view on the matter about eating meat , I totally agree with, about eating meat simple to please my taste buds, also killing a living thing simple because it tastes good, you can live heathly and happily with out meat,& with so much good vegetarian food about it's much easier now than when turned vegetarian in the 1980's.👍😁d.n

Both Paul and Linda McCartney also became vegetarians at about the same time as Shaw did.

This guy is a complete prat! When I was a boy of 15 in 1981, I visited the motorbike show at Earls Court in London. Martin Shaw was there and being a big fan of the Professionals, I queued for his autograph. He was signing the autograph and I said to him 'Where's Bodie?' referencing the character that Lewis Collins played. He looked at me and said 'How the f--- should I know!' That's how Martin Shaw spoke to a young 15 year old fan and I've never forgotten it!!!
