I just now watched the Inspector George Gently series - and absolutely fell in love with it, the plots, and, of course, Martin Shaw. I love British TV soooooooooooooooooooo much better than American TV. There are exceptions, but for the most part, British TV leaves something for the viewer to actually imagine. I hope Netflix, Acorn TV or Amazon videos will hurry up and bring Martin Shaw's other shows to their venue.

I like Martin Shaw as an actor and as a person. Not seen too much other characters he's played, a few and he's always good, but I can't forget him as Ray Doyle with his pal Lewis Collins.
Meanwhile Martin Shaw and Alan Titchmarsh are such lovely people.
Loved his reaction to the Pro's music as he came out. Thank you :)

That's great. I loved how Martin brought out the vegan doggy treat (being vegan himself).

Shaw didn't want to have The Professionals shown on t.v. anymore saying that it was in his past or something UNTIL the widow of Gordon Jackson being down on her luck looked for reruns royalties.
I found it ironic how in the newest Gently season George in the progressive while John is stuck in time about women becoming sergeants and getting higher positions.
When was the last time those women fed those dogs ?
He's very rude I asked him for he's autograph he completely blanked me and my husband he was at the theatre Royal in Nottingham horrible man
