I'm excited to share the third track of my new EP "Bittersweet Memory Lane" with the world. This song is called "Let Myself Live”.
WHAT IS "LET MYSELF LIVE" ABOUT?
Continuing with the main theme of the EP, this song depicts the need to have someone to help them out of dark times. It is the delusion that one can fix everything that is wrong with their life. It does express that someone can help to ignite the spark that will start up the process of finding yourself. “Let Myself Live” means only yourself can actively shape your life and most of the times, it is yourself who stands in your own way.
WHAT IS "BITTERSWEET MEMORY LANE" ABOUT?
Like the name suggests, Bittersweet Memory Lane is an Extended Play (EP) which consists of songs that reflect on individual bittersweet memories. It is an ode to the past, which will mark the transition to the future. With this EP, we want to look back one last time at the memories which have passed and shaped us who we are, so that we can fully process them. Thereafter we can leave them behind and finally look to what is up ahead without a heavy heart.
