Martín Montoya (born 14 April 1991) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a right back for Valencia CF.
He started playing with Barcelona, going on to appear in 67 competitive games during five La Liga seasons and win seven major titles.
Born in Gavà, Barcelona, Catalonia, Montoya started playing football for hometown club CF Gavà, moving to FC Barcelona's youth system, La Masia, at the age of 9. After progressing through its ranks, he was promoted to the B-team in 2009.
In 2016, Montoya signed a four-year deal with Valencia following the expiration of his contract with Barcelona

When I see him in attack I often remind to myself that he is Barcelona youngster :). I will make new video about him after season ends.
I don't agree with your opinion at all , I personally believe that montoya and rodrigo moreno are the weakest links holding valencia back in the current squad.

Thanks for commenting. I respect your opinion but I believe Montoya plays well past season. The video shows only the best moments, not his mistakes. Overall performance is good - his rating is 6.96. With the absence of Joao Cancelo he will have even more opportunity to play this season. About Moreno - the past season he was badly injured and did not play often. He did not score a lot for a striker and offensive winger but makes good contribution via assists. The new season will show where are the strong and the weak links in Valencia. We have a good beginning of the season and we have to play every match to win. There is new and promising players in the club. This season we have to fight for top position in the table. I believe top 4 shoud be the goal.
