My favorite sitcom. It doesn't need a reboot it's a CLASSIC sitcom, besides it wouldn't be the same without Tommy. The reunion is what we need.

yea, a reunion EPISODE... Not a bunch of actors sitting on a fake stage set, talking about some money they made in the 90s. They couldve went on Oprah or The Late Show to do that... lmao they couldve went to Red Table Talk to do that, but that table might be a little empty nowadays 😂😂😂😂🤣 why the hell would I pay and download some BET+ app just to watch these folks harken back to 90s TV? Like, How many blacks actually have a subscription to this app anyway? Thank god we have other companies who can tell me these numbers, I know how to research these types of things. I need to see the demographic of how many actual black people have paid subscriptions to this "Extra BET" channel, and cross reference that number with all the subscribers for all the other app based channels. Watching some adults have a meeting on a fake " Martin" stage with snoop dogg and a bunch of other side characters does not interest me, paid or free.

This isnt a show, and I wanted to see a show, like 3 solid episodes, a funeral for Cole, I mean they could write something that I would gladly pay for. im mad that this is the most creative thing they could come up with. if this is a " tease" for a real extra season, then dont tease me, just say yaull are gonna do 1 more season! My *Martin* story: I was 9 months pregnant at the end of season 3 when Martin and Gina were finally going to get married. The wedding episode was scheduled for 8pm EDT, Thursday, May 18, 1995. The night before, I went into labor. I set the VCR to tape the wedding. The next day, still in labor, my son came out at 6pm! That gave me 2 hours before I could watch the wedding in the hospital. But having a baby traumatizes the body and the first time you need to use the bathroom (even to pee), you need the nurse with you. By the time I finished in there, I had missed the episode. 😭😭😭 THEN, I get home the next day and discover the power had gone out and the VCR didn't tape it. THEN, for some dumb ass reason, when reruns of the show started, they never showed the wedding episode. It wasn't until 10 years later that I was able to buy the DVD box set and finally watch that beautiful episode. I remind my son of this frequently. He will ask for something and I'll say, *"Dammit, you made me miss Martin & Gina's wedding and now you want something else?!!"* He cracks up every time. 🤣

Martin will always be a classic. It's so unfortunate how it ended, but it's great to see the cast come together and celebrate its legacy.

as a white 42 year old man, i love this. i grew up watching this show,.... before the media telling us we hated each other, i didnt see any skin color. I just saw a group of people who made me laugh my ass off. this show was gold.

As a kid who was born in the early 90s and watched Martin reruns all my life there is nothing better than this. I just wish Tommy was here to be a part of it.

I was 18 when the show came on tv and I got to see them fresh every week.It was a top-notch sitcom! Looking forward to check out the new one.

Shows like this is the reason why I miss the 90s. Still laughing to this day watching the reruns of Martin. Wish Tommy was still around, but glad they had this reunion.

This is probably the only Sitcom where almost every single actor and actress went on and had great careers after the end of the show. Some sitcoms will have maybe one person from a show go on and have a phenomenal acting career, but I’ve never seen any other sitcom where almost every main character made names for themselves after a major show! That by itself shows how great this show was! THAT’s how you earn respect in the entertainment industry!

Martin is such a classic and iconic show that I don't think a reboot could even do it justice. That dead plummer episode where Tommy preached and they were singing over the body will always be my all-time favorite episode of Martin. Tommy is truly missed!💯😌💜

Damn bruh, I went in jun 5th 1993 and I got stationed overseas and it was the same for me, but I was having so much fun I didn't really miss tv but every now and then some1 would bring a martin VHS or rap city VHS and I'd say damn I'm missing out. Imagine being overseas now, they probably can see everything in real time lol, makes it a bit less special though imo

Literally the funniest show I ever watched. Made laugh out loud back then and still does today.

I still watch Martin 2day, but I will be celebrating a legend n his own right, the legendary 2PAC. I will be celebrating his birthday on June 16th. I hope everyone will pay homage 2 this genius. I love ❤️ you andiss you dearly 2PAC.

A REUNION IS WAY BETTER THAN A REBOOT, THIS IS WHAT FANS TRULY NEED TO SEE, THE CAST TOGETHER AND HAPPY.

I'm in my forties and Martin was a staple of my teenage years/childhood. My wife and I still watch the reruns and still laugh like it's my first time seeing them, even though I've seen each episode literally countless times and know most of the jokes verbatim. Martin was iconic because it tapped into the culture of the time from the music to the movies, you really had to be a part of black, urban, hip-hop culture to get all the jokes. The characters Martin would play, the chemistry between him and Tisha Cambell. The cast was just perfect in their respective roles, every time I watch it, takes me back to a simpler time and makes me nostalgic of my youth, good times.

This show helped keep my friends and me going throughout my college years in Hawaii. We watched it so much that so many iconic lines became a part of our everyday discourse. I'm really looking forward to this reunion.

I love how they acknowledge Tommy. I started to tear up when the crew got back together but Knowing Tommy would be missing is sad. I love this show growing up. I was born the year it came out. Martin is one the shows that made me enjoy comedy so much.

This show never gets old. Still laugh when I watch it as if it was the first time I watched it. Martin was my favorite comedian growing up and the show was my favorite growing up. I would be on 3-way with my cousin and friend and we would watch the show together. So much fun and laughter. Miss those days! Great show and so glad they had a reunion. Can’t wait to watch!

The Martin Show have save so many lives. Back in the early 90's the only thing that got all the gangs in my neighborhood to stop frighting was Martin. They rather laugh together than fight each other. To see them stop killing was a blessing, cause they couldn't stop laughing at the martin show. It was GOD working using the cast to touch their souls and change minds and lives and it's still going on 30 years later. THANK YOU and may GOD BLESS YOU to the cast of THE MARTIN SHOW

Growing up we used to watch this in Africa, Zimbabwe, this show is the reason why am a creative and have made several tv shows and films in Africa. Big up Martin🙌🏾

I legit know every word from every cast member on this show. I even have my kids watching and laughing with me and they are 14 and 13 years old. I watch you so much so that my husband has asked me will I ever watch anything else lol and the answer is always yes but not right now. Lol Martin is and this entire cast are complete geniuses and Martin is my favorite comedian.

In 1992, I remember going into fifth grade the morning after a new episode of “Martin” aired and my friends and I would recap our favorite moments from the prior night’s episode and laugh our asses off. What a great show, it’s a shame Thomas Mikal Ford is no longer with us, but this reunion special looks wonderful.

This hands down has been one of my favorite shows growing up. I’m from Nde York and a lot of us kids used to use different scenes from Martin to crack on each other. Or we would do our best impressions of the many different characters Martin created. I still watch it till this day, even with my kids. I love that this show is getting the recognitions it so easily deserves.

Martin, In Living Color, Living Single, Roc, New York Undercover! Damn, them were the good ol days. Never missed an episode and still watch em to this day in on streaming apps or syndication.

I STILL watch Martin everyday.

I have been an admirer of Martin Lawrence he is pure genius!!! I would not go to sleep until I watched Martin and still watching it today. YOU GO BOY!!!

This show was everything to me and I didn’t even come up watching it on tv. I was born in 98 so I was watching Martin back when you could get full episodes on KZread. I can only imagine the joy the people feel who used to catch new episodes as they premiered!! Classic classic classic. I think a reboot would ruin its essence though, they’d have to be too politically correct, the jokes wouldn’t hit the same. Maybe they could come together and create a different show but I say leave the Martin legacy alone!

My favorite sitcom of all time. Bought the box set and I still watch it to this day. We don't need a reboot...this show has given us laughs and memories that we can cherish for the rest of our lives. I'm a fan of growth, maturity and progression. So to see the remaining cast members together, in the same room at the same time and everyone can put past differences behind them... that's the best gift you can give us. Martin Lawrence raised me through his show. SO MANY times I felt depressed and he gave me knowledge and hope. Lots of subliminal messages is gave on his show. He also gave personal truths about himself that he didn't have to and that other celebrities refuse to say. He's Magical

I am SO excited for this reunion! Martin was way before his time and the cast was so relatable and believable! It was great, clean, gutsy and perfect comedy! The entire cast was my jam and still is! So incredible!

This show was one of the many iconics growing up!!! Never a dull moment, ever line hit, and you can watch at anytime of the day no matter how you felt! 🔥🔥🔥

Man! I’m super hyped!!! Martin Lawrence and this group changed the Culture of the World forever. Bringing such beauty and positivity to not only comical elements of African American culture but shining light on inner city life and how to overcome difficulties in relationships. It’s so wonderful to see all the cast back together again. I know Tommy is smiling that his friends are back together and reliving happier memories. The show Martin was one of the most funniest comedy series ever made.

I am a diehard Martin fan , I've seen Run Tell That countless times and I still laugh. Looking forward to reunion, when the show was on in the 90's those were some of the years of my life 💖 RIP Tommy

Top 3 sitcom of all time. I’ll argue anyone on this. Reboots will not do it justice but should be attempted just for to get these people paid. Martin has slowly built his resume up to give any comedian in any era a run for their money. He’s a genius.

It's not a reboot, just a reunion show getting the cast together again for the 30th anniversary and doing a tribute to Tommy who sadly passed in 2016.

I still watch it as of this day! My mother did not stop until she got the whole season set on DVD 😂🙏🏾❤️ this is one of the most iconic shows of our time. Growing up in the 90s was the best times of my young life and Martin was definitely apart of our home.

idc how many times i watch Martin, when I am high as a kite, this show never fails to make me laugh or put a smile on my face.

I’m from Detroit and to know this iconic show was filmed here gives us pride. #BlackIconicShows✊🏾

It’s about damn time!! People don’t give Martin his props or credit! He inspired an entire generation of comedians, entertainers and performers! People still biting off of his talent. Martin is the GOAT!

I remember the 1st time this show came on. Right when the intro came on, I remember saying something like, "(sigh), let's see how corny and unfunny this is". Ever since then I was hooked. Weeks later I remember saying, "this is the first time watching a sitcom where I've actually genuinely laughed every 5 seconds for every episode". Soooo glad it went far above my expectations. Can't wait for the reunion.

Unlike a lot of shows, Martin never to itself too serious. It was always about the laughter. Miss the show alot.

Did yall notice that they're airing it on a Thursday? I still remember Thursdays used to be "Martin" night, back in the early 90s! 💯👍🏾

I'm still watching Martin's re-runs till these days. Although I know all the burns and punch lines, I'm still letting them surprise me. That's how deep this show had been part of my well-being. Rebooting it makes no sense. How do you perfect something that's already perfect?
