He is Right On. The old school traditional martial arts have something going for them there. The process tends to weed out the egocentrics. The difference between a brown belt and a black belt is not usually technical but mental. The difference between a black belt and a Master like Jeff Thompson is too.

That's where a lot of UFC fighters are going wrong.....Physically very fit and good fighters...Especially compared to the untrained.....A lot of them however still have a very egocentric, thug like mentality though....It makes you wonder how many of them will cope once their careers are over.
