Cole’s whole arc was that his fighting style lacked defense, so this makes sense.

Should’ve made him react to sub zero vs scorpion

Ngl think they need a better fight choreographer for the next films. A lot of the cast have way better scenes in other shows

Have to remember each fighter has a unique and distinct style adapted from video games. So technically they won't be deemed practical. It's done more for camera and video game similarities

Those 2 fights from the original are definitely the best and better than a majority of the fights in this one But... no way better than anything with scorpion and sub zero in this version

Seriously surely no one watches a movie fight scene and thinks it could be close to how a proper fighter would fight, the first jab he on about saying it was parry’d it was over a foot away, he could have just stood still and the jab wouldnt have reached him

The first movie of 90’s are the best.

Its great to analyze their fights but keep in mind they are superhumans so they can pull off pretty much anything!!

Martial artists react to movie fight scenes is equivalent to a camera engineer react to photography, one skill doesnt not qualify you to the other. This is one of the most stupidest react trends on the internet.

There is no one clear martial art in this scene. It's a load of different techniques modified to look cooler on screen and so it becomes harder to tell.
