Is it just me or does anyone else feel calm when watching Martha? Feels like church.

Every Christmas I would sit and watch Martha Steward Living ...please bring the old shows back...From the 80s

So glad I came across this on YT. I miss Martha’s tv shows and specials so much, magazine too.

In a world where everything is digital and people spend less face-to-face time with each other, the crafting with family and friends idea is wonderful and so heartwarming! Jennifer and Martha together chatting about nicknames gave me the biggest smile!

Those houses are lovely, and it’s great that they can be reused. I was one of 7 kids - 5 of us are Boomers. Our devoted Parents, now deceased, made Christmas and New Years very special, and I’ve tried to do the same for our boys, and now our Grandchildren. I’ve always done special wrapping, with wired bows, etc., and one passed down tradition was to find unique stocking items (ie: my younger sister was the only sibling who liked Dill Pickles, so she always had a jar, sitting on the mantle above her stocking 😄). I also roll, cut, bake and decorate 450 Gingerbread Cookies for gifts (and Christmas Day) every year. Thank heaven they freeze well. I start in November. My FAVOURITE thing, now, is my Cookies and Crafts Day with my 3 1/2 year old Granddaughter. These are the moments that kids remember and cherish - more than big gifts. Next year she will be old enough to start doing a Mini Gingerbread House (like I did with my boys). Yay ! I really enjoy Jennifer Garner. She seems like such a genuine and kind person.

I love Martha I love strong women, my first employer was a woman Mary she was the owner . She owned a Dairy Queen in 1961. She had a husband bill had a sleeping sickness he would fall asleep at his desk. I went in the Air Force Feb. 1962.

My nickname was punky as a child because I loved punky Brewster. Those two gals are so great together. Jennifer is so genuine, in a class all her own. Why on earth do they call her puppy, wish she was my sister. I think Martha needs a French nick name, something classy or creative, or maybe the French word for her favorite craft supply or ingredient. Hmm..

I wish Martha walked with me. I look at every dog I pass to see if their collar is fitting properly. A poor doggie looked like he'd lost his hair around his neck and the owner looked so unapproachable. Grrrr.
