I never thought the day would come where I would understand the lyrics of the song other than just listening and enjoying it

If you truly ever loved someone, and for whatever reason you had to go your separate ways, even if it's hard and you don't want to.. if they're okay and happier that way, you have to let them go. @Sannia Barnes if it’s religion i’d understand. Its something so stupid like horoscopes and astrology. But i think the real reason is that they are super rich while I am from a middle class family. In my country they think about these things a lot. Not the you fer generation though. So they are trying to come up with an excuse to not let us marry for the sake of their family reputation. This song really hits me due to my good friend passed away from a car accident on June 7 of this year and I know it’s hard for me to get through it. One of the lyrics that really stood out to me was “I want to see you smile, but know that means I’ll have to leave”, which means that my friend will always put on a great smile on his face with a lot of positive energy. Now it’s just not the same anymore since my friend is gone and will always be in spirit. 😢😢😭😭❤️❤️

This song makes me cry so much. I once had a cat. His name was Shadow and everytime I was crying he would run to me and make me happy. I always petted him and hugged him. We saved his life from getting shot. He was a stray and we had him for a few years and I guess...he wanted to go back to the stray life. He had a mate and 4 kittens. He ran away with Stripe, (his mate) and I kept one kitten, Dinky. She has so much of Shadow's personality. She makes me laugh and smile and she reminds me of him. I love her. We gave one kitten away and the other two got hit by a car. She has been here for 3 years and she is my best friend. She reminds me of Shadow. She is black just like Shadow and she is brave, adorable, smart, and she can't stand seeing me sad. I wonder if..... If Shadow ever misses me. We had so much memories and fun times. I miss him so much and I have my little guardian angel keeping me happy. Just like Shadow did 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

I discovered this song in 2022, or might have heard it back 4 years ago. 2018 had awful music overall, except in the indie and small artists scene, but this song bops. 11/10 good song + Bastille. Hey, we have similar usernames. Asketa & Natan Chaim were good electronic artists in 2018, as they made "Alone" featuring Kyle Reynolds. This MV means a lot to me.. Me and my close friend used to sing this together in school. We even memorised to lyrics. Well, who knows covid will exist and we cant go to school to meet each other. I’m going through the same thing and this song reminds me of her so much! We weren’t understanding each other and unintentionally hurt each other over and over. We cut contact a few nights ago and it hurts so bad 💔 I hope she has a good life, and at least I can’t hurt her anymore

So cool I listen to this song when I come back from work

I used to love this song for it beats, but guess what? Now this song is so relateable to my story, its kinda hurt but kinda comforting, knowing that a song really describes your feeling really well. I really love her, and i know that she love me too, its just, i keeps on hurting her, and she keeps on forgiving me, eventually i need to go, for her to be happier. Its always easier to forget the people we hate, than to forget the people we love, so i guess im have to be the bad guy in this story, i had to leave.
