So there’s really no difference besides the buttons and Bluetooth version? Oh and the gold metal plate at the bottom of the Stanmore 2. The Stanmore 2 is slightly louder as well.

Ha faltado algo muy importante. El STANMORE 2 lleva el codec qualcomm AptX y el STANMORE 3 no. Se nota bastante la diferencia de latencia en la transmisión bluetooth.

i just want to say I own a Woburn II and a Stanmore I and I think I like the sound from my the Stanmore I significantly more. Also, the bass is often automatically too loud on the Woburn at lower volumes, where I never found that to be the case with extended use of the Stanmore I. I think the Woburn is more of a use-case scenario model and once we are talking 'large room' it is hard to wrap the brain around the idea of a single speaker. I'd advise most anyone stay away from the Woburn.

I bought the II for £180 on sale and the III is like £150 more for hardly any difference.
