Life is like a vapor, we are here and vanished next few seconds, our hope should be rooted and grounded in the word of God. May we gather strength and courage yo face our trials.

My uncle has been greatly troubled. He has struggled with vice and addiction. He ended up in hospital after an overdose, with COVID. The Doctor had told us to make arrangements as it would be days, not weeks. He lay unconcious and unresponsive, we could not even see him as restrictions were in place. Well we prayed for him and told the family and they prayed for him and we called for updates, even as we prepared to lay him to rest. I prayed one night, my last prayer for my troubled uncle. I asked the Lord that whatever his will be for my uncle, that it be done and only that he not suffer longer then he needed too. I asked the lord not for a miracle, not for recovery. I asked for a small kindness and that his will be done. The next day, my Uncle woke up.

I am so sorry and I know your grief is almost unbearable. I was just listening to the Gaither's singing He is God of the Mountain and God of the Valley, He is God in the daytime and God in the nighttime. Hang on with all your might and let God give you that might. Only Holy Spirit can comfort you and I ask Him to do that now and in the future. My parents lost a 17 year old child on a Thanksgiving Day and it was so painful for us all. But God never leaves us or forsakes us no matter what we go through. Know you will see them again and they are all together now rejoicing with Him and all the others they know.

My wife got pregnant 1 month after we got married but 3 weeks later we lost the baby !!! We were so shocked. In that troubles times, i discover this song that comforted m’a lot… i sang it hundred and thousand times. 3 monts later she got pregnant again and things turned good for us. As we were looking for the names of the baby (girl) i just said we will name her PRECIOUS !!! Precious is 2 years old today. She never been hospitalized, no epidemic or other disease. We thank God for his grace. She is so strong, full of joy and so beautiful.

My papa is in the ICU now with chest tube in his lungs.. and I am thousand miles away from him. I know that he is tired because after his brain tumour surgery, he was never thesame. He couldn’t walk, talk, stand! I am knocking on the hearts of whosoever reads this, that they may include my father with their prayers. There is a corona storm all over the world. People are so scared. Please Lord take your children home. Lead us through the storms to your beloved Son Jesus our saviour.

I spent many years on/ off of alcohol and drug addiction. Sober now I look back and see God was always beside me holding out His hand, all He was waiting on was me to grab it. Finally covered in His grace I did and never looked back. He is my King and saved my life. Thank u Jesus!!

There were days when that thought was the only thing that kept me going, knowing that my dear Lord had his reasons and they were safe with Him waiting for me. We are not alone since CHRIST SUFFERED for us KNOWING we will be suffering for HIM as illustrated by the following prayer using caps as emphasis to show the honest reverence for HIS SOVEREIGNTY. On a balcony of space STEPPED A PURE AND HOLY GOD. IN AWESOME SOLITUDE YOU STOOD ALONE. Not one faint star to give YOU light; just endless darkness, it was blackest night. But somehow in the darkness YOU COULD SEE. YOU SAW mountains high and lofty, YOU SAW valleys lush and green. YOU SAW babbling brooks, and wildflowers grow, YOU EVEN HEARD a robin sing. Unfortunately, like the prodigal son, we are all guilty of wandering far from YOU LORD because the negative experiences of our lives tend to build roadblocks to the TRUTH. Since to know and follow your SPIRIT is more exciting than any 007 movies, and YOU DELIGHT MAKING the ordinary into extraordinary. Only by drawing nearer to YOU LORD will put them on a path to a glorious one way trip winding upward to YOU where pain is not welcome because the heart will never break anymore. For ONLY YOU UNDERSTANDS our tears since YOU LOOK at the heart, while humans look at the flesh. O LOVE that will not let them go. When they don't have the strength to try, and have cried all they can cry hear their hearts that need YOU more today than yesterday. The artistic representation was very cool as they demonstrated using music to deal with spiritual attacks by stirring up faith. The negative influences of this world are designed to make our heart sick through emotional & physical pain resulting in a given person turning to music as one source of comfort to the body. The painful realty of this existence gives rise to the birth of music in two forms, earthly & HEAVENLY. Earthly music speaks to the experiences of this world through the singer-song writer’s eyes. Oftentimes drug use (i.e. alcohol, smokes, marijuana, cocaine, opioids, benzos and propofol to name a few) is intertwined with the survival of an artist to deal with the pressure of performing in order to stay relevant in the music industry, and to serve as fuel for creativity. As a result, music celebrities develop a tendency to sin against their body, through excessive drug use, for not measuring up to or to satisfy the demands of their music. Any earthly joy they experience is darkened by the heavy burden of performing and the loss of privacy. The end users of their music become fans because the lyrics are relatable and the sound of the singer’s voice & rhythm helps them cope with the pains of this reality. Unfortunately, this band aid approach is only a time out from the hurt and in the meantime we are fortifying its wall with painful memories waiting in line. Who can save us from wounds that are silent, wordless and cruel all the while tearing us apart inch by inch on the inside, which could radically accelerate the demise of the human body? I will use caps as emphasis to show the honest reverence for GOD'S SOVEREIGNTY when writing about HEAVENLY music in the paragraphs below. That INVINCIBLE DIVINE be our HEAVENLY FATHER, WHO THROUGH HIS SON’S MISSION HAS INSPIRED believers to write songs that sing of HIS LIFE GIVING LOVE to deal with emotional & physical pain, economic instability, mortality and the emotional instability of others with the motive of winning over souls for HIS KINGDOM. The melody & theme of HEAVENLY music is hateful and intolerable to the devil, a spirit which causes us to be blinded of the effects of sin and is responsible for the woes of this world such as melancholy, anguish, tribulation and trial. These agitations of the soul create a heavy burden for the lost and could lead him or her to be hostile of songs that sing about GOD’S GLORY. This makes it clear that we cannot win the spiritual battle by our own strength. Moreover, on earth the devil has no equal. GOD has provided us with the ONE WHO CAN AND WILL LIFT the heavy burden of sin's guilt from a given sinner's heart if he or she (through faith) would open their understanding to Psalms (starting with the focus on Psalms 51:1-10 KJV), and hymns/songs giving praise to HIM for the purpose of being persuaded, converted and healed by the HOLY SPIRIT from within by transforming your body/temple into a meeting place for you and the KING OF THE AGES to commune as friends through the born again experience (repentance manifesting itself in a changed life). It is only here that the fears of tomorrow will diminish, the blessed assurance is given that you are HIS and HE LIVES. Once the blessed assurance is known in prayer (through the confession of wanting salvation from one’s sinful nature, combine with admitting that JESUS CHRIST is LORD and believing in one’s heart that GOD raised HIM from the dead to deliver us from sin's guilt) the world can never take it away because the world didn’t give it to you.

I'm here 2024...it's 02h20 am on the South African shores and I am greatful for my God has carried me to this very day ,my first wife passed away 2021 of ovarian cancer after 26yrs of a happy marriage she couldn conceive so we never had kids im 57 yrs old and I married again a very matured 37yr old woman...my first wife made me promise that I must get married again ...I did that , it was a promise I didn't wanted to make but i said okay I will she told me that in the last day of her life she just wanted to see me happy..and now my new bride is 2weeks pregnant I found out Wednesday ...I cried earlier...I miss my late wife and said thanks to her I hope she heard me...I'm excited this is my first kid that is on the way

Thanks for poating the lyrics. Can relate as evidenced by the following sentences delineating how we use music to deal with spiritual attacks by stirring up faith. The negative influences of this world are designed to make our heart sick through emotional & physical pain resulting in a given person turning to music as one source of comfort to the body. The painful realty of this existence gives rise to the birth of music in two forms, earthly & HEAVENLY. Earthly music speaks to the experiences of this world through the singer-song writer’s eyes. Oftentimes drug use (i.e. alcohol, smokes, marijuana, cocaine, opioids, benzos and propofol to name a few) is intertwined with the survival of an artist to deal with the pressure of performing in order to stay relevant in the music industry, and to serve as fuel for creativity. As a result, music celebrities develop a tendency to sin against their body, through excessive drug use, for not measuring up to or to satisfy the demands of their music. Any earthly joy they experience is darkened by the heavy burden of performing and the loss of privacy. The end users of their music become fans because the lyrics are relatable and the sound of the singer’s voice & rhythm helps them cope with the pains of this reality. Unfortunately, this band aid approach is only a time out from the hurt and in the meantime we are fortifying its wall with painful memories waiting in line. Who can save us from wounds that are silent, wordless and cruel all the while tearing us apart inch by inch on the inside, which could radically accelerate the demise of the human body? I will use caps as emphasis to show the honest reverence for GOD'S SOVEREIGNTY when writing about HEAVENLY music in the paragraphs below. That INVINCIBLE DIVINE be our HEAVENLY FATHER, WHO THROUGH HIS SON’S MISSION HAS INSPIRED believers to write songs that sing of HIS LIFE GIVING LOVE to deal with emotional & physical pain, economic instability, mortality and the emotional instability of others with the motive of winning over souls for HIS KINGDOM. The melody & theme of HEAVENLY music is hateful and intolerable to the devil, a spirit which causes us to be blinded of the effects of sin and is responsible for the woes of this world such as melancholy, anguish, tribulation and trial. These agitations of the soul create a heavy burden for the lost and could lead him or her to be hostile of songs that sing about GOD’S GLORY. This makes it clear that we cannot win the spiritual battle by our own strength. Moreover, on earth the devil has no equal. GOD has provided us with the ONE WHO CAN AND WILL LIFT the heavy burden of sin's guilt from a given sinner's heart if he or she (through faith) would open their understanding to Psalms (starting with the focus on Psalms 51:1-10 KJV), and hymns/songs giving praise to HIM for the purpose of being persuaded, converted and healed by the HOLY SPIRIT from within by transforming your body/temple into a meeting place for you and the KING OF THE AGES to commune as friends through the born again experience (repentance manifesting itself in a changed life). It is only here that the fears of tomorrow will diminish, the blessed assurance is given that you are HIS and HE LIVES. Once the blessed assurance is known in prayer (through the confession of wanting salvation from one’s sinful nature, combine with admitting that JESUS CHRIST is LORD and believing in one’s heart that GOD raised HIM from the dead to deliver us from sin's guilt) the world can never take it away because the world didn’t give it to you.

You won’t die, you will only be traveling to the next level of heaven on your journey, where we will never be sick or old and see all those we love. This song I had sung at my husbands funeral. Tom Jones I love you and I am praying for you. Jesus is always with us. He's always waiting for for us to call out his name for forgiveness, I had to learn the hard way he never has forsaken me. Love the Lord our God with all of your heart.

A prayer requiring faith to carry on this journey with JESUS CHRIST . On a balcony of space STEPPED A PURE AND HOLY GOD. IN AWESOME SOLITUDE YOU STOOD ALONE. Not one faint star to give YOU light; just endless darkness, it was blackest night. But somehow in the darkness YOU COULD SEE. YOU SAW mountains high and lofty, YOU SAW valleys lush and green. YOU SAW babbling brooks, and wildflowers grow, YOU EVEN HEARD a robin sing. Then through YOUR COMPASSION STANDING OUT THERE IN YOUR TOMORROW, YOU SAW forum's visitors. 🥰 YOU SAW them as sinners because there is no intrinsic righteousness in any of us due to Adam’s sin. YOU SAW them as they grew from a baby into adulthood due to YOUR HANDS OF MERCY. 🥰 YOU SAW them pursuing a career path for the purpose of obtaining the gains of the world not realizing that it is a loss compared to what YOU DID on the cross. Unfortunately, like the prodigal son, we are all guilty of wandering far from YOU LORD because the negative experiences of our lives tend to build roadblocks to the TRUTH. Lastly, LORD when they call on YOU in earnest prayer to come into their hearts to be born again, I pray that YOU WILL GIVE them the blessed assurance of their salvation because nothing breaks YOUR HEART, or tears YOU apart like when they cry from the trials of the devil who comes to slander, falsely accuse, steal, kill & destroy. Only by drawing nearer to YOU LORD will put them on a path to a glorious one way trip winding upward to YOU where pain is not welcome because the heart will never break anymore. When they don't have the strength to try, and have cried all they can cry hear their hearts that need YOU more today than yesterday. I am.....all the way in Michigan. I have listened to this song every day since we buried a friend who died from Cancer. I never heard this song before and when I heard it at her funeral, I had to look it up. This was the best version that I could find. Thank you for putting this out here. Absolutely love how many of God's children are singing this song. LOVE it. Have a blessed 2020 everyone.

I stumbled across this song 2 years ago after the passing of our pastor, his daughter and my mom in a matter of 5 months. This was the worst time of my life, the lowest I’ve ever been 😢 This song is one of the gospels I listened to over and over I somehow drew strength from this song. Thank you Angela Primm, Jason Crabb and Marshall Hall your voices are amazing. Thank You Lord 😇🙏 Hold my hand precious Lord and lead me home. May God continue to bless you in His service🌹❤️

When my Father passed away this and God on the mountain were just a couple of gospel songs I'd play over and over. I've been very Blessed by them.

In the natural, if you have a broken arm, it doesn’t just heal over night. The doctor makes a cast to hold it in place and protect it. He binds up your wound. In the spiritual realm, God does the same thing. He wraps Himself around your brokenness and protects the wounded area until it is strong enough to function properly again. The Bible also says that He is a restorer. That means that when He does a work of healing in our lives, He makes us better than we were before. If you’re going through the healing process today, know this: it may take longer than you planned, but God is binding up your wound. He is protecting you and healing you. He will bring you out better and stronger than you were before. He will take you to a place of complete healing so that you can live the life of victory He has in store for you.

It was a song that gave me hope, during my chemotheraphy. Jesus took my hand and carried me through it. Thank you for this beautiful song....

Many times as I lay in the pain brought on by the Chemo, all I could do was to feel the arms of Jesus around me. He did hold me all the way through the treatments. Had He not, I would not have had the strength to go on. I could always feel His presence through Chemo and Radiation treatments. I kept repeating His promise that He would never put more on us than we can bear. I thank Him constantly for His love and forbearance for an old sinner as I. I will forever love Him. If anyone reads this and needs help through anything just speak His name, He's standing there beside you and waiting to help you through anything you may need Him to do. Al you have to do is whisper His name. JESUS
