My wife got pregnant 1 month after we got married but 3 weeks later we lost the baby !!! We were so shocked. In that troubles times, i discover this song that comforted m’a lot… i sang it hundred and thousand times. 3 monts later she got pregnant again and things turned good for us. As we were looking for the names of the baby (girl) i just said we will name her PRECIOUS !!! Precious is 2 years old today. She never been hospitalized, no epidemic or other disease. We thank God for his grace. She is so strong, full of joy and so beautiful.

Who else is crying reading the comments about what God has done in peoples lives? Our God is amazing!

I haven’t gone to church in 12 years. I haven’t prayed in many months, I have lost faith if I’m honest with my depression and loss of hope in things, but I’ve gotta say: this song makes me really happy when listening to it. I am so sorry and I know your grief is almost unbearable. I was just listening to the Gaither's singing He is God of the Mountain and God of the Valley, He is God in the daytime and God in the nighttime. Hang on with all your might and let God give you that might. Only Holy Spirit can comfort you and I ask Him to do that now and in the future. My parents lost a 17 year old child on a Thanksgiving Day and it was so painful for us all. But God never leaves us or forsakes us no matter what we go through. Know you will see them again and they are all together now rejoicing with Him and all the others they know.

I spent many years on/ off of alcohol and drug addiction. Sober now I look back and see God was always beside me holding out His hand, all He was waiting on was me to grab it. Finally covered in His grace I did and never looked back. He is my King and saved my life. Thank u Jesus!!

I lost 2 so in a small way can relate, even though I never did have children here, I know forty years later that my precious children wait for me in my heavenly home. There were days when that thought was the only thing that kept me going, knowing that my dear Lord had his reasons and they were safe with Him waiting for me. My papa is in the ICU now with chest tube in his lungs.. and I am thousand miles away from him. I know that he is tired because after his brain tumour surgery, he was never thesame. He couldn’t walk, talk, stand! I am knocking on the hearts of whosoever reads this, that they may include my father with their prayers. The painful realty of this existence gives rise to the birth of music in two forms, earthly & HEAVENLY. Earthly music speaks to the experiences of this world through the singer-song writer’s eyes. Oftentimes drug use (i.e. alcohol, smokes, marijuana, cocaine, opioids, benzos and propofol to name a few) is intertwined with the survival of an artist to deal with the pressure of performing in order to stay relevant in the music industry, and to serve as fuel for creativity. As a result, music celebrities develop a tendency to sin against their body, through excessive drug use, for not measuring up to or to satisfy the demands of their music. Any earthly joy they experience is darkened by the heavy burden of performing and the loss of privacy. The end users of their music become fans because the lyrics are relatable and the sound of the singer’s voice & rhythm helps them cope with the pains of this reality. As I listen to this song tonight 12/31/2021 going into 2022 … I am left speechless as this has been THE hardest year of my life. My brothers death, my horrible marriage, over 5 other family members deaths, my finances etc I am left not being able to know what to say, this song is speaking to my Jesus for me. It’s as simple as the lyrics and I am so thankful to these artists for delivering not just the lyrics but the passion behind the words. Father God I am begging you in your sons name to change my situations for better. I am leaving 2021 broken and shattered and I really want to shine and prove to the world and those who hate me, that I can shine ✨ but I cannot do it broken. Amen

This is another old hymn that I am afraid that will get lost as our churches go to more modern chorus', I love them also, but these time proven hymns just speak so deeply to your heart--oh, how I want my Lord to take my hand everyday--I have severe health problems and I cannot do one day without Him!!!! God's true people will always have their own testimony and way to sing to God as long as they come humbly and sincerely. He will hear us.

Only by drawing nearer to YOU LORD will put them on a path to a glorious one way trip winding upward to YOU where pain is not welcome because the heart will never break anymore. For ONLY YOU UNDERSTANDS our tears since YOU LOOK at the heart, while humans look at the flesh. O LOVE that will not let them go. When they don't have the strength to try, and have cried all they can cry hear their hearts that need YOU more today than yesterday. I am.....all the way in Michigan. I have listened to this song every day since we buried a friend who died from Cancer. I never heard this song before and when I heard it at her funeral, I had to look it up. This was the best version that I could find. Thank you for putting this out here. I want to thank God that He knows my deepest hurt, He knows my fear and my heart's desires yet He still loves and cares for me. What a great Father He is, so kind, gentle, and merciful. He loves you too, no matter what is going on in your life He will help you, just talk to Him.

Many times as I lay in the pain brought on by the Chemo, all I could do was to feel the arms of Jesus around me. He did hold me all the way through the treatments. Had He not, I would not have had the strength to go on. I could always feel His presence through Chemo and Radiation treatments. I kept repeating His promise that He would never put more on us than we can bear. I thank Him constantly for His love and forbearance for an old sinner as I. I will forever love Him. If anyone reads this and needs help through anything just speak His name, He's standing there beside you and waiting to help you through anything you may need Him to do. Al you have to do is whisper His name. JESUS

When my Father passed away this and God on the mountain were just a couple of gospel songs I'd play over and over. I've been very Blessed by them.

He has taken my hand so many times throughout my life.....Had it not been for Him I would never have survived 2003 ...and He has kept me going since.
