willcwhite yeah....no. Most of that swingin feeling is from the JLCO. Most of the BPs parts are either mirroring what they're doing or held out in such a way that it doesn't need to swing. Not to say that the BP isn't a wonderful group with very talented musicians. But that is JLCO swing and more importantly a Wynton Marsalis swing

But back to the real reason we are having this little "exchange" are you trying to tell me that the symphony didn't perform this piece well? The seem to be swinging pretty well, I mean, that was defiantly performed in swing style, I just don't know why you are saying that is specially assembled jazz symphony isn't able swing... In conclusion, I am better than you.

@udienowisay No man, this swings like shit. Listen to it again. Really sloppy, very little feeling. Really the classical musicians approach towards swing.
