Personally, Algol to me, feels like a depository of injustices done through millennia. The unfathomable depth of how much humankind can be wicked with deliberate intent. I have Algol exactly conjunct natal Juno. My marriage of 35 years ended 7 years ago due to husband’s closeted sexuality and all that goes with that - betrayals, lies, secrecy, rage. Making the decision to leave was the hardest - and best - decision. Lots therapy and intention setting to let go, forgive, and move on got me to a place of peace, happy being with myself and by myself, finding joy once again. I’m not sure how this Mars/Uranus conjunction will impact me now, but it is taking place in my natal 4th house and I’m moving to a new house soon, so perhaps giving me the stamina to get through the hard work of moving. I have Algol conjunct my midheaven and Jupiter so, naturally, I’m bracing myself for something big! 🙏🏽

Algol is about the monsters we create with the power of our thought. It's about being in control of our thoughts and emotions. The monsters we create with our overthinking often lead us to alcohol or other substances use, aiming to relief ourselves. Let's not forget that ultimately she is the victim (victim of rape and victim of false accusation). So, acceptance is probably key. I feel we need to learn how to accept, forgive, and move one. If we identify with our emotions and thoughts too much, we create our own hell. I've read this very interesting point in an esoteric book: often the victim of rape ends up more burdened energetically/spiritually, than the abuser, and the reason is the emotions the victim goes through for a very long time. It's a real paradox, but often we end up in a dark place ourselves, because bad things happened to us. We are essentially innocent, yet he negative life outlook we adopt, leads to more unfortune down the line. Uranus in Taurus, wants to break the identification with the material side of life, the calculations we hold in our mind instead of trusting our intuition and instead of cultivating true, total faith. By holding on into things and worrying, we don't allow new energy and opportunity to come in our life, we literally block our path. Furthermore, fear petrify us, just like alcohol does too. it dries us up, it robs us from our own life energy. I feel the lesson of this period is letting go and stop identifying with our thoughts. Thoughts create emotions, emotions create action (or inaction). More often that we realize, thoughts create unseen entities that literally block our progress. Controlling our mental body and energy is a super power. Algol is the woman who is being raped and then accused about her rape - surprisingly, by another woman. This is madness. We women, need to honor our female, loving, intuitive nature and support each other.

I first took a closer look at this star back in March 2022, just after the Ukraine invasion that got my nephew all fired up and loosing his head literally and now he is not with us anymore, after taking off part of his head. He had his Sun exact upon Algol.

I loved this video, very well put. I ve been navigating the Algol misteries for a long time as I too am an astrologer and have Sun at 25°Taurus. Also a metal music lover. Did you notice that death metal music appeared the year Pluto started opposing Algol from Scorpio? I investigated some years back... Can t remember the year now but many of the classic bands in the genre appeard at the same time. Listening to Algol is listening to metal. I do so all year😂 great video. I have some planets in Taurus, but wide to Algol. I see my love of metal coming from Mars in Taurus square Saturn in Leo. I'm not a genre conformist, but my love is black (especially Drudkh and Opeth) and thrash, Metallica, Slayer etc I'll have to look into it. I do remember some of the earliest Black Metal coming out in the very late 80's so that tracks.

I didn't realize my algol was exactly on my Taurus Descendant. I haven't looked much into what it means. But this Uranus and Mars conjunction of course is right on my Descendant. On Aug 3rd 2022, when it was conjunct last time, I contracted COVID that day for the first time. Worst sickness I ever had. I also lost one coworker, and not too long after, gained another. There were also a lot of changes going on in my company at the time. Also dealing with my older dog going downhill. So very 6th house themes.

My friend turned 30 a couple weeks ago and has Mars 26° Taurus ♉️ opposite Pluto 25°40 Scorpio ♏️ so I have been concerned how this Mars/Uranus/Algol business plays out. I remember he mentioned he has to do some house repairs (fix the dryer) and help his uncle w his other rental properties are having sudden issues (dishwasher stopped working in one property electrical issue, hot water not working in another… he said “the hot water is blocked” sounds like Saturn/Neptune. He does not believe in astrology or anything so I know he doesn’t take me seriously but I called him and told him to be careful about working w electric ⚡️ stuff even though I know he knows this stuff he used to work in a hardware store. I think maybe Algol has played a role when he was a kid. He has schizoid PD he said his early memories his father constantly yelled and criticized him and his parents split up when he was 5 or so. There’s lots of drama I’m leaving out but basically he said when he was a teen one day he just had enough and something switched off 🤷‍♀️ He said it was either that or 💀 He is very rational and he says he doesn’t have feelings/emotions but he tries to do no harm

I have Algol conjunct my MC and in a very textbook example, I've actually been strangled on a trip to Ethiopia!! However, I turned that process into a wild empowering moment in my life 💫 which ultimately brought many gifts! Now.. I recently had a small eye injury and thought at Uranus already there not far away... I've been looking at this transit in my chart for a while and I have to say things are so quiet for what I was expecting.... but hey, still 9 days until it's exact 🔥I'll come back and report!

My husband has his sun in Taurus 28º21, moon in Taurus 21º12, mars in Taurus 23º28, true node in Taurus 25º20. No uranus mars aspects natally, should I be worried???😱

Hey, I am in a new/ old relationship and in our composite chart, we have our moon and south node at 25/26 degrees Taurus. My moon is at 17 and his at 29 Taurus. So I already experienced Uranus on my moon. It was pretty nervous energy. Now this transit frightens me, to be honest. Especially because he has his natal Uranus conjunct his and my ascendant. Our ascendents are 2 degrees apart in Leo. This transit now is in the 10th house. I should get a reading maybe.

It's just 26 degrees Taurus. It's in the same place in everyone's chart, just the house will be different. It's a fixed star.

During my natal return Venus and Jupiter were on my Algol 12 house, I algo have my heros at the same degree. Any idea what this can represent? I find can’t find answers 😢

If this is your solar return chart you're referring to, it's more of an influence for the solar year only, even more so if Venus or Jupiter are your profected time lords for the year.

Now in my 70s when I was a kid I would fly into rages where I literally saw red and “ lost my head”. My sun is 27 degrees Leo and north node at 27 Taurus. Sounds like I’d better batten down the hatches

@@nmimi0707 I've been having some increased neck pain (I have arthritis and fibromyalgia) and also got an unexpected review of my Social Security Disability so I'm stressed about that. I have an appointment on the 15th when the conjunction of Mars and Uranus is exact with an Orthopedic Surgeon to see about my neck and shoulders, I'm hoping it all goes well ✨🌌 other than that I've been feeling pretty good 🥰

Algol is tightly conjunct my black moon Lilith in Taurus 8th house.

My mars and uranus will apparently be in the 8th house on the 15th. My mars is in sagittarius and uranus in aquarius on my birth chart. I’ve seen stuff online with the perspective that Algol can be protective, as the shield of Medusa being used defensively against enemies. So I am choosing to look at it that way

Apologies for an upcoming relatively dark story related to my childhood. But, I have Venus at 26°Scorpio in the sixth so I guess it’s just par for the course Before the age of four, I killed several small animals by strangling them (please note, I love animals! )I don’t remember any of it. Just what my mom relayed to me when I got older. Also, growing up whenever my mom was mad at me. Her favorite thing to say was that she was going to strangle me. Sometimes she would rage and literally grab me by the neck while she was saying it. I had a reading in my 20s by an astrologer who was interested in my mother’s chart relative to mine. At this point, she was unaware of the previous story that I just mentioned. She looked at our composite chart and synastry charts mentioned that from her observation, my mother and I had killed each other both by strangulation at some point in past lives! I just found it fascinating. As I believe, there’s some relationship with strangulation and the fixed star Algol. Again, apologies it’s so dark but it’s my life 🤷‍♂️

So I’d love to know what aspects led the astrologer to say that. I have LOTS of Algol aspects. My ascendant is conjunct Algol, my husbands south node is conjunct Algol (and my Chiron) and his fathers sun is conjunct Algol. I feel strongly the three of us are part of a soul family that has had other lifetimes together.

Where, my mother and I have Uranus, Pluto, and mars conjunct in Virgo in the third squaring, Jupiter in Gemini in the 12th and the sun and mercury in Sagittarius in the sixth. I don’t see that Algol is prominently placed in the composite though. Also, if I remember correctly, she considered some synastry aspects as well. I feel most prominent would be my moon/mars conjunction at 6 and 10° Leo Conjunct my mother’s ascendant at 6° Leo. Which was also square her Mars/Saturn conjunction at 4 and 7° Scorpio. My moon/mars is situated in the third natally
