I have Mars in Gemini in the 4th. I definitely had a bad relationship with my mother and she pissed me off more than anyone that I know, but she wasn't combative at all. It was the total opposite..she pissed me off because she was so weak and never took action to fix her problems and played helpless victim all the time. She was a covert narcissist. I think the only thing offsetting the "combative, domineering" mother thing for me is that I have my Moon in the 12th in Capricorn. You're spot on, though, with feeling like my private life has so much more than my work life. One thing that might be related to Mars in the 4th is that I ALWAYS have to change the position of my furniture and redo the layout of my home. I get this uncomfortable feeling when its in the same layout for too long and I gotta switch it up or it will drive me insane. Also, ever since I was old enough and moved out, I've never lived in the same place for more than a few years...for the past 12 years 😮‍💨 and even when I was younger, I'd always be at different friends' houses rather than my own 🫠

Cancer rising here. Mars in 4th in Libra. My mom is Sun Libra. My home is my everything. My kids is everything. I finally put my foot down and only conflict in my home are my teenage kids 😫😫. Mars in cancer here and yes mother was very combative. We fight like sisters/ have a very intense relationship. We are active together however. We are the only ones in the family who are into fitness so we workout together from time to time 🤍

I would recommend using Whole Sign System in the beginning as things are a little clearer that way. Otherwise unless you book a reading I personally have no way of knowing what your chart looks like or the placements! Best wishes, and hope this helps! 🤗
