disagree bigly. for hundreds of years, a bill of materials told you what was what, and what's missing. a brain-dead app does not. when a vendor says the new, improved fan has a metal base and what's delivered do not, customer support costs dilute profits. *PUT A BILL OF MATERIALS IN THE BOX.*

The exhaust fan I got with my 4 x 4 growing tent doesn’t have the humidity/temp controller. It’s basically a worthless fan so I have to buy a brand new one. The videos from my grow tent showed a fan with a controller. Why one exists without I will never know. Thanks Mars Hydro for making me have to buy a second fan with a controller.

As the control unit has 2 inputs for fans i recon you could buy a second fan/filter and use it with the same controller. Kinda special use case but then u wouldn't need 2 control units.

The a.c. infinity 69 controller will only control a.c. fans?

Why don't you put these instructions in with the unit so I don't have to go looking for them online. I paid $200 Canadian for the 4" fan kit and it comes with no instructions. Brilliant

Replacement active carbon, after ~1-3 grows you should change it, or as soon as it won't filter the smell anymore

Buy an indoor/outdoor thermometer and wall mount outside your grow tent. Install the outdoor probe inside your grow tent... Fan Speed - you have to play around with it a little bit... Generally adjust your fan speed to keep the temperature inside your grow tent 1 degree to 2 degrees higher than the room temperature is about the best you can get.

I want to run the fan 24/7 in low speed, but if used auto mode it only runs when alarm settings reached. How is it possible to use both?

Hello, at 2:50 how do you exit the rectifying mode? After i calibrate, i cannot exit, the humidity display keeps blinking. Whatever button i tried it's always stuck in rectifying mode.

What speed does the fan run at in auto mode when the triggers are exceeded ? is it auto 100% power or is it what fan speed we set in the on mode ????

The auto mode only allows one trigger right? Or does it take in account all the high/low settings? Just got my fan and it seems to be randomly blowing. I set up the 'high humidity' to 80%, but even when it's far under, it keeps blowing. Also why is the high hum lower than the low hum in this video?

Hi, when in "Auto" mode, the fan allows 4 triggers to be active at the same time. Please check if a "low humidity" trigger was set in your fan.

Hi, I understand what the high temp and high humidity triggers do… but what do the low triggers do? So the high turns fan on if humidity and temp are high… but what does it do when they fall too low below the low settings? Does it turn on again?

@@nekojackk97 that's just personal preference. A fan inside the tent is a bit quieter than outside. Usually, the fan gets placed outside the tent if you are a bit short in space. But there are no real advantages/disadvantages for any set-up

If you want to get full CFM of your fan... for best ventilation for your grow tent it is more important to eliminate 90 degree turns and bends in the flex duct work... and avoid at all costs a U bend...

Just bought one with the torch screen controller and i think mine might be faulty when in auto mode the fan dont run at all until high temp settings is reached is this faulty?

I think my mars hydro 4” in-line fan may be broken. The controller doesn’t display an “on” or an “off” and only shows the temperature, humidity, and speed (0). When I press the mode and leaf button for 5 seconds, it only locks it. The other buttons beep when it is in lock mode, but otherwise do nothing. Am I missing something?

shame this cannot be mounted to the front of the tent like the infinity because i dont want to put holes into my wall to install the controller.

Q: why not connect the filter directly to the fan, and from the fan directly to Sargent Stadanko's office window? Q: can fan/filter be oriented vertical? Q: why will this product not work without wifi?

Yes i have set a temperature and humidity trigger. But when it gets to that point the fan turns completely off. I like it to stay on on at least fanspeed 1. But is always goes completely off. I found something on the internet and they say you should set a fanspeed in off mode. Bit that doesn’t seem te work. Can you please explain how to set a minimum fan speed when the temperature is within parameters? Thanks alot.

Keep the fan in "OFF" mode. And to enter the calibration needs at least 5 seconds.

I’m having this same issue. It’s stuck on the screen and doesn’t say on or off. Only the temperature, humidity, and speed (0). When I press the mode and lead button for five seconds, all it does is lock it. Think it may be broken. I’ve had it less than a year.

This doesn’t help me. For starters they sent me a CF that is twice the size of that and slides off the intake every time. The instructions for these are absolute dogshit.

Running on 100% you think a jet fighter starts right next to you. Best price but low quality

Never buying from these guys again on my momma. Customer service was horrible and how do you malfunction in less than 6 months? Doesn't do anything to control my environment at all. I have pictures and my humidity is at 93rh at night in the basement? C'mon, guys. Hit up somebody different or you'll regret it

My fan isn't running at all. I was sent here by the website. Avoid this junk at all cost. I had it for like 3 months.

Y’all should show the part how your tents stitching catastrophically fails very soon after purchase and you guys not offering/upholding a warranty to the customers so they are stuck buying the same thing multiple times due to your crappy quality and no warranty! If your considering mars hydro, go somewhere else that will at least warranty their gear for at least a year because these guys will leave you hanging with nothing but a tent that you can’t even use. I have proof if anyone wants to see. :)
