I love that the romance is between two people in their 50s. We need more cute fluffy romance stories for mature audiences. Young people shouldn't be the only ones to have fun!

As much as I love rewatchung classics from the 90s and early 2000s like 13 Going on 30, Notting Hill, You’ve Got Mail, Wedding Crashers, etc., I want new movies to watch! There’s clearly an audience for this too like the millennials who grew up watching these films and their boomer parents

@@cookiesarelikecream yeah it's sorely been missed. It's like just because something it cliche or corny to the romance genre doesn't mean it isn't good. The point of it is not knowing they'll get together but the 'how' they will and fall in love throughout the story, that's the whole deal in the midst of the comedy and drama of it all.

I hope we see a return to big, dumb and fun romcoms like this.

Saw it with my college yesterday and well as someone who normally cannot STAND romance movies, this is one I would gladly watch over and over again! The chemistry between the two characters was amazing! The songs were pure gold and the plot was just so loving, it had me both angry (*cough* Bastian *cough*), laughing, crying, and dancing. I am so glad I took a chance and watched it.

The chemistry between Jennifer and Owe, the beautiful singing, the story line, it was the perfect movie for Valentines. Go and see it, you won't regret it!

Pleasantly surprised by how much I liked this movie. Despite the same type of ending we see in pretty much every romantic movie, the concept itself felt unique. Oh and the music was great

This seems like it ticks every box of a romcom checklist I didn’t know I was into: a premise seems outta Wattpad: ✅ marriage before romance: ✅ nerdy guy: ✅ 40+ protagonists: ✅ music: ✅ good styling: ✅ if it has a decent screenplay and well executed, I can’t see why this can’t be a hit!

I remember when this was a webcomic only, years ago, and I read it every week and reread it a number of times whenever I needed a pickmeup. So good to see it's finally a film. The creator deserves every bit of his success.

This movie deserved a part 2. 🥺 I like this kind of romatic movie.

I love that her love interests were a young guy AND someone closer to her age. We need to see more age diversity in romance films.

Just finished watching it & I gotta tell you, it's pretty awesome...amazing chemistry between jlo & Owen Wilson...love to experience that same early '00s kinda romcoms that I missed so much...love it!!!

This is my new favourite movie. Every single cast member is just perfect. Absolutely everything you need to just feel good for a few hours is right here. And while I'm usually not that into musical numbers in the middle of my movies...these are up there with Encanto, and A Star is Born. Well done everyone.

After the pandemic this is what we need a light-hearted fun cute movie and it does look pretty fun!!!

Absolutely loved the movie. Owen wilson is soooo charming!! I kept smiling throughout the whole movie. JLo is th best!!

Just saw it today and it was a great movie imo. Witty, Funny and Romantic. Didn’t think JLo and Owen would be a good fit but i was wrong. Never really watched a lot of Romantic Comedies or Romance movies in general growing up but I would watch this movie again and buy it when it goes on DVD

This was a simple movie, but it was so well-executed. I actually cried! The soundtrack is pretty strong too.

I love how well they used the songs 'say yes' and 'on my way' to create such a contrast between she as a person and her relationship with Bastian, and then the beautiful development of her relationship with Charlie. Absolutely beautiful trailer that made me smile and cry ❤. I know this movie is going to be so Unforgettable ❤:)

after having watched this, it's not as cheesy as i thought it was going to be. i mean, it still went the way we all knew it was going to go, but it was still super cute. owen's character was nothing but wholesome and JLo's just needed someone to be in her corner and be there for her. i actually wouldn't mind watching it again and have been listening to the music since.

Said he is shooting a movie with Jennifer Lopez and this will be one of the scenes. Everyone went crazy! What a fun night

Im 26 years young man. And im not even ashamed to admit that we need more of theese movies. Cause lately theres's none. This reminds me of 2000s rom coms with JL, Kate Hudson, Mathew Mconaghey, Heath Ledger, etc sry if i spelled someone wrong. Yes they are predictable, but they are not bad movies. And im not talking about netflix romcoms those are mostly bad teenager stories.

This movie got me smiling although. This is one of the best I've seen so far. Jennifer Lopez is a legend

I hope this is the start of a new wave of wonderfully cheesy romantic movies that we’ve been lacking for the last 10-15 years.

Watched Marry Me and it was amazing. Funny, sometimes a tear jerker with awkward moments to boot. Everything you need in a Jennifer Lopez and Owen Wilson film.

we want romcom era back and J Lo and Owen Wilson is gonna pave the way for it. This has potential bc we need more light hearted plots nowadays.

I'm not usually a fan of these types of films, but this really looks surprisingly good. Not great, but really good. I'll give it a chance!

OMG I LOVE Owen Wilson! It makes sense, Kat has been through a lot so she wants her pride in tact. Owen Wilson looks to be a great guy, whose a friend to her. He definitely grounds her. How vulnerable Kat is to be able to say she's lonely. This is a gonna be such a warm, cozy, sweet, romantic journey
