I love seeing morning routines centered around God and how other Christians include God in their mornings 🙏 Also wanted to say that I am sooo beyond thankful for the podcast episode where you talked about triggers and wounds during holidays it literally got me out of my sadness after holidays because I felt I was the only one that experiences this and I thought what a not good Christian I am if I still have these conflicts/traumas when with family but you both are so amazing and brought this up so just felt I needed to bring this up your ministry is truly fruitful and amazing ❤ grateful for you both and what you do to show God's love

Thank you for being transparent during your vlogs. It is such a blessing and answered prayer to see Spirit filled believer have vlogs. I think it helps a lot with discipleship of seeing what it looks like to walk with Christ in the everyday, how to love one another, being consistent in prayer and devotion (more in depth and personal devotionals), and giving your emotions to God. This has really been helpful and great reminder that God cares about our emotions and that even if it isn't always extraordinary encounters with Him or deep revelations, it is the relationship, simply being with Him, that matters and God is always pleased when we simply come close to Him no matter what.

I haven't even finished the vlog but love it! The morning routine is so real. I'm not a morning person, either Kayla. It would take me forever to get out of bed on the first alarm. I hit snooze like 3 times before getting up and starting the day. God is helping me be better at getting up and being consistent.

Matej, I have to say I am grateful you struggled with connecting with the Lord that day. I often have trouble reconnecting with Him myself and I often feel as if I'd bungled my prayer time. Hearing you struggle with the same experience lifts me up somehow - it lets me know that it is probably fine. :) It is always easier to have a more positive (and more accurate) view of someone's problem when standing on the side. So, as an impartial onlooker, let me tell you that God looks favourably on your every attempt at reaching Him. He wants you to face your emotions head-on, and not to seek shelter from them in Him. He trusts you with them - knows that you can handle them, and wants you to know that, too. (wow. had a little prophetic moment there. :) actually, I believe I had to hear these words for myself, as well. God cleverly made me write them to you, so that I would pay attention to the message which I would probably pass over if it were "aimed" directly at me. Smart move, God. Smart move. :)
