I am so happy you decided to take care of your face. You are beautiful and when your face is flawless (nice clean without pimples) you don't need much makeup. I don't wear makeup but get compliments on the makeup i wear. I just say thank you. With good skincare and the right moisturizes, you don't need much or any makeup except lipstick and eyeliner and mascara. You can also use a little vaseline around the eyes, if you don't want to put on eyeshadow.
