I sometimes feel that those who are challenged the most God has a plan for you and knows that you'll come to him in good time and with what ever you face that will someday save his people❤.

He loved you when you were helpless and dependent on him and the minute you started making something of yourself, he was intimidated😢

Jen ever loved her. It was about his ego and the boost he got from her dependency and innocence. A man who abuses and mistreats you later has never loved you.

Abuse starts with verbal - emotional and then physical. Be careful, once s/he starts throwing strong words and swearing, run away and never look back.

Big mistake that most Church girls do is jump into marriage without fadting n praying asking God to confirm and show them signs that this is realy my kingdom spouse..marriage its like an achievement to them like they hit jacpot so they r blinded by that they cant even see who they r marring ,obsessed with a ring cant blame them much on that one coz black wonan r groomed to see marriage as a Goal... My point is Ladies *just bcoz he goes to church it doesnt mean his a man of God* church is like a hospital some patients respond to treatment some they dont ,so Ladies wake up pray n ask God to confirm...otherwise more abuse n divorce amongst Christians will escalate ....face reality n wake up Ladies

I fasted and prayed, I remember I used to fast for 3 days, without water and food, every week for 3 consecutive months and prayed really hard. I think the biggest pressure is when you're proposed by a known church member and people keep pushing for you to be together. I did pray, I don't think I've ever prayed so much in my life for anything than when I was proposed to marriage.

Exactly 💯 , you also forgot to mention some pray and fast but are too quick to take a decision without the Lord revealing to them if it is his will or not.

When you separate from a narcissist, it's not easy to fall in love easily with men. It takes time, and honestly you need to heal and rebuild your self-esteem and grow as a person.

True it took me 4 years to heal, luckily God sent me strangers who were so relaxed and funny always joking.... I learned to laugh again n to be happy instead of being fearful. But what I love now that I am ready to love again is I see nonsense from a distance and stop it right there. I am rewriting my book of life with love and wisdom

Narcissists don't know what love is, he never loved you from the beginning🥹. All they do is love bombing. so sorry you had to go through all that.

Even before the marriage he had issues with who she was as a person,from her career to her strengths.There was never love there ,just someone trying to change and control her. she was young,he had money,there was power imbalance and she thought it was love!

Yep so true, they love bomb to the core. My ex husband would write long Facebook posts about me, how much he loves me and all that. People still think I was a lucky lady, not knowing what was happening in closed doors. I have no voice to share with the masses like he does, so I let him win, but on the flipside I know I won, I don't care about what people think, what he fed them. I won by getting a strength to exit that dark place of marriage.

This is a heartbreaking story. Last night as I was sleeping I had a dream and a Pastor was abusing his wife and he said it proudly to my face on that dream and I got angry and left immediately.And today I come across this video.I pray for all women to gain strength and leave any space that has any form of abuse.

I opened up to One of the elders at our church when I was in an abusive marriage, he told me that one day as I was passing him to greet after church God told him that " this lady is abused by the husband" but he overlooked it bcos the husband was a pastor and looking all humble and innocent in the public

she sounds like she is describing my deceased husband and all I had endured in our 7 year marriage, may his soul rest in peace. i am sorry lady, things happen to us for a reason.

I ran away from such a patner a nice guy he was but he will kill me with his words I attempted to leave him for two yrs it's not easy to leave but 2023 helped me escape and I'm free he likes to play victim

She was too young ad he targeted her to control her

Yoooo this lady's story is 90% exactly what I went through. By God's grace I left, Unfortunately the narsassist is refusing to give me a divorce in the name of he loves me and he has faith that God will restore that evil union making me look like the crazy one to the world.

The abuse started very early but she only realized when it was physical am sure the was a tension building stage where he tried to make sure she has a low self esteem am happy that she finally found the courage to leave the marriage

I am doing my master's in clinical mental health counseling and this is just so interesting. It's a proven fact that most people who grow up in broken homes tend to be abusive themselves especially men who grew up with dad's that beat up their mothers. What I don't get is how as a psychologist, he did not seek help because he knew those things would come back to haunt him.

Truly. Today morning I woke up w such a deep heartache and I cried to the Lord for help and for him to make a way for me. I’m dealing w a heartbreak w a leader a whole pastor who has a ministry and I have constant heartaches because I had such high expectations because I thought he is a pastor I would have gone through What I went through. It was the title for me .We tend to forget that pastors, bishops,the communities role models are human beings too. I can relate but I thank God we ended up not getting married and when I think of it today I can say God works in mysterious ways just trust Him.

Regarding love, his love is probably based on his ability to control. I was raised with an abusive parent who would tell me they loved me as I had bruises and dried blood on the wounds they inflicted. A psychopath’s version of love is based solely on themselves. And their ability to control is how they feel “in love.”

This story was so painful to listen to. I would suggest that your guest approaches an attorney for advice. If they didn’t approach a court for divorce, it is possible that they are still legally married. Most likely, In community of property even.

The guy that wanted to abuse me thought he was winning because I was quite. One day I told him that, "you know what you are doing to me I can do it to you better than you, you know that moss" I said it slowly looking straight into his eyes. He went out and changed completely after that conversation.

Testimonies like Vee's need to be told for the young ones to avoid falling prey of abusers who thrive in seeing others suffer at their hands..may we wise up..May the Lord have mercy

I was exhausted at 5 years, Ahhhh it was enough. He never laid his hands on me but him screaming over me everytime I try to communicate things that are bothering me, things we needed to fix in marriage was enough, not to mention the emotional cheating on WhatsApp and deleting flirting messages and yet a man of God in Public, who loves his wife. The reverse psychology and gaslighting. Ay even 5 years was long

Check for legal documents proving that you are legally divorced. Narcissist are very deceptive. You don't want him owning half of everything you own. Better safe than sorry.
