Recently our 3 year old daughter was on life support due to a virus. She was still failing on life support so they put her on ECMO. On the 3rd day she went through an operation and I saw her body completely blue from head to toe. The pain was so great that I had to walk away as they tried to save her life. I went to the waiting room because I had already told God that I would praise him no matter what happened, that she was his and never mine. In those 45 min I believed she was dead I was looking out the waiting room window and there was a cross, and in the midst of my pain God wrapped his arms around me and the price of the cross really hit me for the first time ever. I always thought about the cross from the aspect of what Jesus gave, but then it hit me what God did that day he watched he son crucified. If I could have taken my daughter off that machine and saved her I would have, but God didn't He took it all. They say its a cheat, that God knew Jesus would rise from the dead...but now I know that no one would chose that pain, not for a second, or a minute. If you love you child and you have a choice, you would never choose that. So he must love us tremendously. In those moments my daughter pulled through. On the fifth day for the first time in my life I heard God's audible voice. He told me he would heal Avi. I believed it before it happened because I knew that my God loved me so much that he would never lie to me. So I began to tell everyone that would listen that I believed in my miracle before it happened. Her face was swollen,. Her eyes were swollen. Black stuff was pouring from her nose. Her kidneys were failing and she was on insulin, her blood counts were bad, but I had a word from GOD that he would heal her. And. HE.DID. 42 days after we went into the hospital my child came home with me. She has no brain damage. She had nothing but weakness. God came down in ways I never expected. YOu are so very right. His love is everything.

15 yrs ago my husband left me, said he didn’t know what he wanted anymore. At first I was devistated and prayed for God to bring him back until I dived into my Bible and read for hours, next day went to work, sped home, played with my dogs and jumped back into my Bible, I did this everyday for more than 4 mos, IT WAS AWESOME!!! My Father changed my husbands heart, changed me and we have 7 fold the marriage I thought we had before this ever happened. When I look back at those days I have no sad feelings, what I experienced with Him in those months, man it was amazing!!!

I'm going to save this to share with every Christian couple when their marriage hits rough ground. This message could prevent a lot of divorces. GREAT WORD.

Thanks so much for this. Although I have an active prayer life, I would not normally turn to a Christian pastor for advice. My wife and I were in the middle of an argument about small matters that seemed ready to spin out of control. I got a call from one of our children to come pick them up. On the drive, I wanted to listen to something about "marriage and freedom" and this came up. Listening, I realized how often I've judged and criticized my wife. Usually not directly, but by implication. Or in my mind. And how incredibly selfish I was (am?). No matter how good she is, I always have an idea for how she could be better. And I realize that when I pray, Jesus is so gentle with me. Honest, but gentle. Always the sense of his love and forgiveness and acceptance. In the few days since I really noticed God's overwhelming forgiveness and my own stinginess, it has been, as Dan says, "easy" to adopt a new loving empowered and courageous perspective.

The same verse had come to my mind also, but I think the main point he's making here is that yes, he is teaching and inspiring God's people to become love/to love others with God's love, but to avoid taking a stance of expecting or demanding love FROM others, since receiving God's love into our hearts is more than enough of the love that we need. It's a subtle shift, but one that can make such a huge difference from expecting/demanding from other people, into receiving from the Lord and sharing that with others, as well as of course receiving any blessings He shares with us by His Spirit through His people as well.

Give yourself to Christ. Honor Him. Your wife is not who should be 1st. This is hard. I jave the same problem. But I am putting Him 1st. I lovey husbamd even though he sometimes says he doesn't love me. I am becoming His love. My husnad.doesnt know what to do! I simply pray for grace for my husband. I pray God blessed him and the woman my husband cheated on me with. To bless them with His love so that they may repent amd come to Him.

Praying for you and her. Just FYI, I was just like your wife. However, when my husband finally reached your point, it was hard to trust his change. The slightest little change had me nervous he would fully revert back. I am so glad I did trust him. He was an excellent husband and father for so many years, but menopause was not kind for him either. Whether you stay together or not (and I am praying that you do), take the time to continue healing you relationship with her and the Lord.

Dan teaches that prayers for change in your spouse, if born out of pain, are selfish in nature and due to a lack of love they are rendered impotent before a God who seeks to build our character. Our prayers for others must be birthed out of selfless love to be answered. When I pray for Assanges freedom, then I feel pain , outrage, admiration and compassion. Mixed feelings include contempt for his torturors and disgust for the accomplices and sadness about the indifferent ones and I experience discouragement and fear for myself and our society. So Based on Dan Mohlers insights I would lack a pure enough motive to warrant an answer to my prayers. I would ask why pray or if I still pray I may incriminate God in my heart for raising the bar for his engagement too high ! Often the spiritually pure and selfless believer is preoccupied with saving souls amidst the uncertainties of premature death or a sudden apocalypse. Seldom does he engage in political activism or material prepping.

I would say feelings of human empathy and disgust at abuse in the hands of government authority is different than resenting a spouse's behavior. Though, a practical application I could think of, would to be to mourn the lives of the people torturing others under political authority. I struggle with this and it led me into a dark year of political extremism and anger where I couldn't be bothered to pray FOR the people violating our rights. They are storing up wrath against themselves and searing their own consciences after all- serving a system they don't even understand wants to kill them too. Seeing it from that perspective has brought me peace and revealed my hypocrisy. I've done some really terrible things in my life, before and after being saved, on a much smaller scale than the powers that be and it caused me a lot of pain. I can't imagine what a rude awakening it will be for people that hurt others with such high governing authority. In addition to those who they are hurting to begin with. Of course it's hard to walk out but God said to pray for the kings and rulers and I trust Him to conform me to His righteousness.

Test ALL Things! YHVH is The Almighty God that has created Covenant ‼️ Even HE is Covenanted and Lives by HIS WORD ‼️ Marriage is A God Given Covenant! We supposed to Live for Each-other! What does St Paul teach? Vows made before God and people! We have to live with in His Covenantal life We are compelled to live for Each other! 100% commitment no holding back! That’s the witness that the world needs! No Luke warm relationship!

That quote at 1:05:10 struck a cord in me. I struggled with that thought process for a VERY long time, it was a cycle of those exact words. But thanks to the Lord I've been free from that mindset in recent years, and by the blood of Jesus and the love of God it'll stay that way. Thank you Lord for rescuing us!

Dan is a true saint preaching a gospel of total sacrifice. So different from what I learned. I absolutely admire Dans example of total immersion and self abandonment, but I haven’t got what it takes to die to self as he does. Saying yes is like signing a monastic vow and throwing the key to the monastry’s gates away. Praying from pain instead of love won’t make a difference he says. Not surprised his wife went through an identity crisis for 8 years living with Dan.

We think our ability to sin still labels us as sinners, because we believe that, that is the fruit we produce. Make the tree good and the fruit will be good. We bare bad fruit because the tree is bad. We can't make the fruit good but we can make the tree good then the fruit will be good. Trees thrive and produce good fruit when they are treated with the right fertiliser and taken care of. I was a bad tree in a bad garden that has been transplanted into a good garden by living waters, I must now let the good fertiliser transform me into a good tree. This is done by feeding myself with the word. When the tree is good the fruit will automatically be good. * I thank you that I see people the way you saw me. I've been through that... and she got her own appartment, God told me to put my eyes on Him and not on her ( that was not easy!) Finally after 3 months we started to have contact again, we agreed to stay together on one condition: to submit to Him first in all circumstances!! This was 6 years ago! Stay close to thé LOVE to become love!!! Bless you brother!

Would you preach about healing from sexual sin? In Believers lives. I find info on intensives, therapy, boundaries, etc.- but I don't read these words in the Word.

Hi Sara this is my take away from his sermon and what i personally do and have done married to a spouse who was struggling w addiction. God began to teach me about HIS LOVE and how he loves me. I bc Jesus says forgive...choose to obey bc i lv Jesus and forgive. Secondly HOW MANY TIMES HV I SINNED AGAINST GOD and he forgave me and did me...not thinkn about how he felt or how good he has been to me. The secret faults i hv...no one sees but God yet EA. DAY HIS LOVE IS THE same BLOWS MY MIND HOW GOD never reduces his acts of love altho hes dissatisfied w my behavior. Hvn this revelation helps me keep loving bc im Christ's disciple. Then i took my power bck by not allowing my spouse to hurt me with out arguing..or being unloving playing a victims role. No IM NOT A VICTIM IM VICTORIOUS. If its physical abuse of course u hv to pray ask God for wisdom how to stop that hurt..but if its bc theyre not saved or saved and doing wuteva on purpose...pray for them from love wanting to see them set free...not for sara but Jesus. Seeing that if they continue to allow the enemy to use them they may spend eternity separately from God in heaven. I hv seen a miraculous turnaround as a result but i had to be patient and wait assuredly knowing GOD is just. Never fails to vindicate his children.

Forgiveness is for us... not them. The world teaches us that we forgive for them and only if they deserve it. I made a chioce to forgive so i could walk in peace, love and joy and all God has for me. It was a journey to understand that i forgive to break the chains that r binding ME... it was for me and it brought incredible freedom to my life and freed me from being dependent on what others do...

We must become the word. * He sees me through His Son, He sees me through the finished work of the Cross. * If I do not see myself the way He sees me, I will never approach Him with boldness and live unveiled and start where He finished. * I will try to accomplish what He has already accomplished and prove to myself that I can’t and I mark myself for where I am not instead of where he has already placed me. * I validate my ability to fail, thinking it is humility. * The Lord reconciled the world to Himself not imputing their trespasses against them. * Through Jesus he was willing to see me apart from what I have done wrong to get me to what He created me for. * I have been born again and am a new creation, old things have passed away and all things have become new. * I have been transplanted from the Kingdom of darkness into the Kingdom of light. I am part of the new Heaven and the new Earth. * I was crucified with Christ and it is no longer I who live but Christ who lives in me. * I was buried with Him through baptism and just as Christ was raised from the dead by the Glory of the Father I was raised from the dead by the same Glory and this is why I am able to live a new life, not just a different life, a new life. * Because of that cross, my interest in this world has been crucified, and the world’s interest in me has also died. * I have died with Christ, and He has set me free from the spiritual powers of this world. I have died to this life, and my real life is hidden with Christ in God. * Father I did not say a prayer just to get me to heaven. I said a prayer and denied myself so I can take up my cross and follow You so You can get heaven back into me, the way you intended it to be from the beginning You created me in Your image, after Your own likeness; to be Your image on the earth. * Jesus you came to save that which was lost; your image. God, You created me in Your image but Adam lost it when he ate of the tree. That image that was lost was restored to me when I was born again and I thank You that as I get to know you better I am becoming more like that image every day. * I triumph over the devil and the flesh because of the Blood of the Lamb the word of my testimony but most of all because I do not love my life unto death. * Father I was not created to be a slave to sin and the flesh. Father, You never made me for anger. You never made me to stand for my own rights and be broken-hearted, disappointed and live for my own gain, my own desire and my own will. * You made me into Your image and to mirror Your image. * I am a new wine-skin that can hold the new wine. * I will not build on the flesh I will pursue You and build on the Spirit I am born again and new life has come. * I put off the things that Adam became when he ate of the tree, the things that sin made me to be. I won’t listen to that serpent anymore. I won’t accept anything that came from that tree. * Anything that is still in me that came through the fall I surrender. I don’t want me I want Your image, the image You created me to be, to be formed in me. * I will only accept that which comes from the tree of life. * If I cannot find it in the life of Jesus I don’t want to find it in my heart I give myself to you whole-heartedly, unreservedly I don’t want nothing of me. * I deny myself the best I understand, I hold nothing back, take me for my word God. Mould me and shape me, let Grace overtake me. Challenge me in every way, correct me in every way and lead me through life in your love. * I hold nothing back the best I understand I am telling you that I am yours. Consume me in Grace and righteousness. * I am not judged I am not condemned, I am not a failure I am loved by You. I am a son of the Most High God. I am not a sinner trying to be a Christian no I am a son that has been accepted by the God of creation and I am loved by Him. * Father I want you, I put on the new man. I am a Man led by your Holy Spirit. I am: A Man of Love, A Man of Joy A Man of Peace, A Man of Patience, A Man of Kindness, A Man of Goodness, A Man of Faithfulness, A Man of Gentleness, A Man of Self-Control. A man that takes no account when suffered wrong. The days of jealousy, hurt and pride is over because it is not who I am. No man can tear me down they can only encourage me and build me up. No man can disappoint me because I have become the love of God. * I will not let sin against me become sin inside me. * I put off the old, it is a lie. It is not what You made me to be. * Everything the world taught me to be I call it dead and I put on Christ I am not alive for me, I am alive for You and Your image. Nothing can stop me. * I will manifest Your nature. * I will manifest Your will. * I will manifest Your love every day of my life. * I submit myself to You. I retain no rights but the right to be like You, to live like You and to look like You. * Mercy wakes me up every day to look more like my Daddy. * I am in Christ and Christ is in me. I am selfless and free. * Father God, I put You on by faith and your Grace is masterfully moulding me and sketching and edging me and shaping me after Your image. * Holy Spirit have Your way and make me beautiful in Christ. Let the world desire You because of what they see in me and let the world know who You are because I am alive. * Farther I have not just taken up my cross but I have denied myself. Self is not my master, You are. I am led by Holy Spirit 24 hours a day. * I am so consumed by You that when I look in a mirror; You stare back at me. * Farther, You did not send Your Son to die on the cross to forgive my sins so that someday I can go to a place called heaven. * Jesus You paid a price to remove my sin, to get Your identity, Your nature and Your Spirit back into me. In other words, it is not all about me getting to heaven, it is about getting heaven back into me, so I can become what you were intended to be from the beginning apart from sin. * Jesus You are the Lamb of God who takes away the sin off the world. I do not have to sin. * Because of the Power of the Cross I do not live with a sin identity but with a righteousness identity. * Father you have dressed me with a cloak righteousness. * I am Righteous because I have been washed with the Blood of the Lamb. * I live righteous conscience and not sin conscience. * I bear good Fruit. We think our ability to sin still labels us as sinners, because we believe that, that is the fruit we produce. Make the tree good and the fruit will be good. We bare bad fruit because the tree is bad. We can't make the fruit good but we can make the tree good then the fruit will be good. Trees thrive and produce good fruit when they are treated with the right fertiliser and taken care of. I was a bad tree in a bad garden that has been transplanted into a good garden by living waters, I must now let the good fertiliser transform me into a good tree. This is done by feeding myself with the word. When the tree is good the fruit will automatically be good. * I thank you that I see people the way you saw me. Think about Jesus’s perspective concerning you. Does Jesus ask God “Do I need to go to the cross if they have a personality disorder?” He doesn’t do that. He believes whole heartedly that the cross will be able to cleanse you. Have faith in what Jesus has done and keep thanking God for deliverance.
