I can see why Adam Driver and Noah work together a lot. They share this mild mannerism and deep focus, two genius passionate introverts.
Noah Baumbach: "New York" Martin Scorsese: *EARS PERKED*
First I thought "it's funny to see Noah and Greta both at the Roundtable, because they worked together many times" but I totally forgot that they are a couple. This makes it even more interesting.

Marriage story felt so real and so true that it sometimes felt like we were eavesdropping on people we know at their most private personal moments...
I simply love his films. They make you think and analyze certain aspects of your life. Marriage Story was no exception. Greta Gerwig had a great mentor and now she has her own voice and is a great filmmaker as well.
Come on guys, load the entire roundtable already. Can’t wait. Thank you!

😂 for sure. Lulu's only directed 2 features too, only one of which was commercially successful. Still, I love how Marty listens and converses with them like equals bc they are. The full interview is gold.
Anyone else find it funny that in silence it cuts from Andrew Garfield's shoulder to Adam Driver's and then in Mariage Story its Scarlett Johansson and Adam?
does anyone know what scene they are talking about in Silence?
I wanted Quentin! Nevertheless, great interviews!
I didn't know up until now that Greta and Noah were partners. Now I see where all that enhanced creativity is coming from.

@@dillonpatel8754 Seen them both twice, long before I ever commented on either anywhere. "The Irishman" was basically fictionalized nonsense with nothing to say about anything. So, why is someone like you who is obviously sick in the head, and violent, even here commenting on anything? You have nothing to say, and you say nothing is the most offensive way possible to make yourself look even worse.

@@justgivemethetruth the Irishman is about the accumulation of a lifetime's worth of decisions coming back to haunt a man who didn't realize just how important those moments were until it was too late. Someone who rejects his real family and when his other family dies, ends up outlasting his own usefulness since he was was used as a means to an end. The dehumanizing effects and emptiness of a crime-filled life and the path of destruction it leaves on everyone within its periphery. How you can live such a life and end up in a nursing home with stories to tell but nobody to tell them to. He feels sorry, but doesn't know exactly what he's sorry for. He's earned enough money, but spends it on basic living expenses and a casket. He recites scripture with a pastor, but mumbles the words because he doesn't know them by heart. If you did a little bit of reading about Plato and the unexamined life you could have spared yourself the embarrassment of making such a dimwitted comment.
