I remember watching Love is blind and telling myself, in a world full of Carltons, find yourself a Cameron. I'm not usually the type to watch all these fake reality shows, but for some reason, I watched it. Love is blind opened my heart to love again. As a single mother of 2, I revisited my list and started manifesting with intent the type of husband I wanted in my life…. With optimism, a clean heart, and a good soul, everything is possible! In September 2020, I met my soul mate, my life partner online. I’m Canadian, and he is American, and today we are married and expecting our first child together in December 2022. What a journey! Thank you, Lauren and Cameron ❤️

I am so glad y’all got to do this with the Hamilton’s! One of the traits that I admired from both of them from the beginning was that it always felt like they were on the same page from day one. Like they had real deep conversations in the pod and had a plan in place when they decided to get engaged. They felt like partners.

I agree also 😊they will be celebrating their 4th anniversary soon and you can tell they are truly in love and respect each other. They show you have to continually work on your marriage and couples who do that will go a long way. Congrats to both couples.😉

To me Cameron seems like an easy person to love.

I think this is one of my biggest flaws in most of my relationships- both romantic and platonic

I remember meeting Cameron & Lauren in 2020 at the ATL airport & they were both so kind & humble. I wish them both the best❤ they seem like great humans 😊

I LOVE this couple! When I say I only watched Love is Blind just for them! Had the entire family hooked. Even the men in the family lol

Cam's point about all human's have something difficult about them to live with. So partnering with another human in this journey of life is challenging but so worth the work required.

I'm not even married yet, but I get sooo much from these conversations! I will continue to tune in for more Marriage be Hard episodes. They are so insightful!

V honest Kev. I’m 25 and grew up with you as a comedian and it’s very refreshing seeing a black man destructing his ego and doing the work. I wish more black comedians were like this.

This was so good, I’m single but I still learnt a lot about life in general. There were so many gems in this that are not only relevant to marriage but relevant to life in general.

This episode and really the entire concept/series is better than gold! So many gems! Y'all and your guests have a level of authenticity/openness that is SOOO needed especially when discussing marriage in this day & age.

Kev is like my husband. But he calls me right away or as soon as he can and I do the same . At the end of the day it’s too much for us to remember esp. while winding down. 32 yrs strong.

Love the Hamiltons. They are so sweet.

They were on the 1st season of, “Love is Blind” on Netflix. It’s a good show. They’re on the 3rd season now. They have the Japanese & Brazilian versions, too. ALL are so good!

Cam out here living the white man's dream. Just living life with a fine black woman. And you can tell he been doing right. 🙌🏾👏🏾

I think because their marriage is still new, they are not as comfortable being vulnerable and discussing specifics of their relationship. Then again, it could be that they’ve decided not to share specifics since their marriage is so public anyway

This is such a great conversation! I’m taking away lots of gems! But I particularly liked Melissa’s advice “Speak up early and often”. I’m not currently married but am in a long term relationship with my partner, and we’ve just moved in together. We have built a great relationship up to this point but it’s so important to continually work on your relationship communication. It takes work and practice like Kev’s Lebron analogy. And I’m so dedicated to our relationship that I’m ready and willing to continue to do that work. Thank you for this episode!

THANK YOU FOR THIS!! As a single woman I decided to work on my traumas and insecurities to better prepare myself for marriage back in 2018. My family had fallen apart due to my grandmother’s passing and to honor her and what she’s always taught me, I decide to find a church home and get to work. Growing within that church and learning Gods perspective on marriage and woman helped me heal in so many areas. Now the journey wasn’t either nor does the healing and growing ever stop, but I have since become more secure in who I am and what a healthy marriage is. So many of what you all said throughout this video was biblical and helpful. We each get the option to choose our hard each and every day, marriage is a hard that I desire for and will work through with my future spouse. I pray that I break the generational curse of being a toxic partner in an unhealthy marriage, however I do have great peace knowing that my marriage will be mine and not what I’ve seen family before me go through in theirs. Btw I love therapy as well and I attend a church that highly recommends ppl to get a therapist if they dnt already have one. My pastor has one himself and it just sets the tone for me that the leader of the church can admit to not being perfect and needing help. No one is perfect and we all need wisdom and encouragement from an outside source. God has given us a wonderful resource in therapy and I’m so grateful for that. God bless you all! ❤

What this rship has taught me is that it's good when both partners are centered in their souls, when they've done the work to grow not just emotionally but as adults, they've done the work to stand as adults in the world and are busy living their lives and marriage is the icing on the cake they are looking for. For most of the men on the show especially season 2 and 3, it felt to me that most of the men had not infact done the work. They could barely take care of themselves and seemed to be having n idealized view of life and marriage ie I'll get to 25 and get married (not coz I love the responsibility of marriage but because I want someone to take care of me). With these two, I feel like they were doing good on their own and love and marriage was something they were just taking a chance on, with no pressure. I appreciate it. mental health stability, financial stability, emotional maturity ,etc seem significant for marriage
