Maroon Beret Warrior: Major Sinam Ex 11 Para SF
After completing his graduation from Delhi University, Major Sinam Purnachandra had a dream of serving his country as an Army Officer. He prepared diligently for Combined Defence Services (CDS) exam in December 2009 and cleared it. I went on to attend the Services Selection Board (SSB) in Allahabad, passed out on his first attempt. In October 2010, he joined the Officers Training Academy, where he embraced the rigorous training and graduated on September 17, 2011. Driven by a desire to push his limits, he volunteered for the Indian Army PARA Special Forces. After a gruelling selection process, he was honoured to join the elite Eleven PARA Special Forces Battalion.
His special forces service took him to some of the most challenging and volatile regions, including the North East (Manipur, Assam) and Jammu and Kashmir. He participated in special operations in these terrorism-infested environments and was awarded commendation cards from the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) and the Army Commander Eastern Command for his gallantry. He also served in the high-altitude regions of Arunachal Pradesh, bordering China and Bhutan, where he led some of the toughest and best-trained personnel in the Indian Army. During his tenure, he held various roles, including Adjutant, Quartermaster, and Training Officer, and played a key role in motivating new probationers.
After a decade of dedicated service, he decided that it was time to serve society in a different way. Embracing the challenge of transitioning to civilian life, he sought to explore new opportunities and leverage his expertise in new domains. On September 16, 2021, he concluded his military career as a Short Service Commissioned Officer. Before his release date, his skills and networking had already secured him positions at Cadila Pharmaceuticals, Amazon, and Adani. On October 8, 2021, he joined Adani as the Physical Security Head at their Global Corporate Office in Ahmedabad. Over the course of a year, he received two spot recommendation awards for my performance, including appreciation from Chairman Mr. Gautam Adani for seamlessly organizing the visit of UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson. Continuing his journey of growth, he accepted a role overseeing security operations for one of the largest ruby mining companies in Mozambique, Africa. his experiences in the Army and at Adani equipped him to navigate the volatile work environment effectively. With a wealth of experience from both the military and corporate worlds, he now guide and support his colleagues transitioning from the Army and mentor young aspirants eager to join the Armed Forces. My unwavering belief in the Indian Army's motto, "SERVICE BEFORE SELF," continues to guide my path.

Major Sinam Sir was a great leader and had golden-hearted men. I worked with Sir for 11 months under him. He was one of the greatest sirs I ever met in my life. He was so inspirational and supported me personally and professionally a lot. We were very lucky to work under his guidance. 😍👏👏

Jai hind sir. I have a small request can you please bring naik digendera Kumar MVC SM commendation card. He has a lot of combat stories and a funny story of him how he got sena medal.He was part of 2 rajrif during kargil war and was awarded MVC for his brave acts. His unit was one of the best units in 1990s .He was an NSG black cat commando and a Para SF operative (Most probably he was from 10 Para SF cause he is rajasthani) It's just a request from my side not an order. It would be a interesting win life like a warrior episode... Jai hind

Para Arty is the Artillery Guns transported by aircraft and parachuted for quicker mobilization. The Army personnel who is part of this unit are from Parachute regiment. They are not SF but are qualified paratroopers. Eg such was used in Kargil war. You can check videos on KZread

sir whats the point of seeing these podcasts and becoming patriotic? agniveers r dying. common people have lost their value of life. rich kids in their expensive cars r killing people yet nothing is happening to them as they have full government support. no rich kid will go to army and risk their life. why should we protect this country which doesnt give us anything in return!? no wonder american kids are not joining their army anymore.
