today i “graduated” my middle school and am now ready to go to highschool. this song was playing the last five minutes of that day. it’s been stuck in my head ever since that moment. when everyone left the classes and ran the halls so excited as ever. felt like a movie and a fever dream all in one. im really gonna miss those middle school moments, friends, memories, just like today. its funny how one random song can just attach inself to a memory and whenever you hear it that’s all you think about. ill remember those moments and this song dearly from now on

Maroon 5: The band of my early childhood. I’d always hear their songs on the radio in the car with my brother when I was younger. This and many more of their songs are so nostalgic. We had just moved to Holland and my then 9 years daughter sang (screamed) this song on the school bus every single day for almost a year until I got a letter from the school principal asking me to tell her to stop because after so many months the other children started complaining about it. Thank God the Dutch are very tolerant people.
